Mae Hong Son es una provincia impresionante en el norte de Tailandia. Ubicada directamente al oeste de Chiang Mai, preciosos y grandes extensiones de paisajes rurales, montañas azules y pueblos pintorescos, gran parte de Mae Hong Son mantiene una sensación intacta. limita con el país de Myanmar y por lo tanto, tiene una cultura única influenciada por los tailandeses, birmanos y chinos que viven allí, lo que es evidente en la comida, el idioma y la arquitectura locales. Encontrará impresionantes chedis de estilo birmano que salpican las laderas, coloridas tribus étnicas como los Shan y los Hmong, y la deliciosa cocina de Shan y Yunnan que se sirve en los restaurantes locales. Nosotros disfrutamos mucho, deliciosa comida, adaptada a todos los presupuestos, bares, en el cual tuvimos la suerte de que estuviera tocando un grupo musical, al ser los únicos extranjeros fuimos el punto de interés, súper respetuosos y amables, pendientes que disfrutaras de la buena música. Y no puedes dejar de hacerte los masajes, más relajado en ese viaje es imposible. Por la noche en la peatonal hay mercado, muy interesante.

One of my favorite parts of Thailand, but I am slightly biased as I live and work in the north. Top tips, if you don’t like snakes and creepy crawlers or have an aversion to mosquitoes, don’t go here during the monsoon season - it’s literally crawling. Go during the cold season Nov - Jan and it’s at its best in terms of weather, trekking and camping. If you can stay here at least 4 nights, as anything less and you won’t be able to do an authentic trekking experience, if that’s what you are here for.

Nice city to stay for those who travel on Mae Hong son loop, you may find morning market and walking street easily everyday. Near to ban rak Thai (1 hour), su tong pae bridge (20 mins) and lots of temple and local tribe market to visit. Highly recommended🇹🇭🇹🇭🇹🇭👍👍👍

สถานที่สวยมาก แต่ถนนก่อนถึงทางเข้าอุทยานแคบมากๆ ซึ่งเป็นถนนคอนกรีตแคบๆ ถ้าขยายอีกด้านและนิดพอรถสวนทางกันได้น่าจะดีกว่านี้

I spent only one night in this beautiful town bud seen the best. There was a food night market around the lake, some music band performed on podium and fountain was nicely lighted. I had a chance to try Myanmar food, hmm soo delicious 😋
