一昨年に行ってとても良かったので今年も7月頭に行きました。気候のせいか少なかったですが、ゲンジボタル、ヘイケボタルが暗闇を漂い幻想的で良かったです。私も子供も家の周りでは野生のホタルを見ることはできないので大変貴重です。
駅前の駐車場に停めて20時ごろから散策開始、ゆっくりとコースを回ると小一時間です。街灯も少なく暗いですが、暗がりに目を慣らした方が良いので懐中電灯や携帯は出来るだけ使わない方が良いですよ。他の方に迷惑です。使うならオレンジ系の光を足元だけに照らしましょう。
暗いし舗装してない場所もあるのでスニーカーがおすすめ。雨上がりだったら長靴もアリ。虫除けスプレーしてから行った方が確実です。
毎年6月末の週末にイベントがあるようで、この日に当たると駐車場が満車になるので自治体のホームページを確認することをお勧めします。
