One of the best place with best menu in Nuwara Eliya. Tasty foods, friendly team and nice atmosphere, just in front of the lake. Can manage few vehicles inside the park, also few outside.

Good variety of North Indian food. Cost is above average. The taste, aroma and atmosphere didn't meet the expectations. The two curries of different flavors we ordered (kadhai and roganjosh) tasted similar. So no value for money. Toilets quality weren't upto the standards of similar restaurants. Parking available for max 10 vehicles. The experience used to be much better and luxurious few years ago (pre-Covid) before it was relocated/reopened. Was disappointed and would reconsider other Indian options in Nuwara Eliya next time.

The restaurant is situated in front of the Gregory Lake in Nuwara Eliya. The place is calm and quiet. The food is good and delicious but not the best Indian food I have tasted in Sri Lanka. There are many Indian and Chinese selections in the menu. We only ordered few items like mutton biriyani, butter chicken, steam rice and 2 naan roties. The food is expensive not worth the price when it comes to portion size.

This restaurant was a pleasant surprise. The Indian food is delicious and on point. The view is great from the restaurant as well. It's spacious and can accommodate a lot of people. We had butter chicken, chicken handi with naan and some zeera rice.

As the name suggests, this place specialises in Indian cruisine and they definitely do a fantastic job at that. The cost is well below what I went in expecting and the taste was the best. I would even argue to say that this hotel offered the best Indian fold throughout my five day trip in Sri Lanka. Definitely recommended as the service was good and the food too was served quickly.

The place is situated just beside the Gregory Lake. Parking is available at the property. Staff is very helpful and polite. Variety of authentic Indian dishes are provided at an upper average price level. Portion size is very decent. Three partitions of seating is available; outdoor, indoor and semi-indoor. Wash room facilities are well up to standard. Taste of the food is top notch. Altogether a great place to dine and enjoy the elegance of the place as well as the Gregory lake.

A very nice place in Lanka where you get good Indian food is here.its right in front of the lake with a good view, has outdoor seating but if it rains you'll have to run for shelter. Toilet is clean but you have just one for the ladies and one for gents. There is a queue for the same in general. Food taste is however very good. It is also crowded and difficult to find a table.

30th June 2023 Went here with my husband and infant. We had butter chicken masala (LKR 1750) with plain naan (LKR 325) and Masala tea. Food was 10/10. The butter chicken masala didn't have as much chicken as we expected it would but once we made a complaint it was smoothly taken care of, which I really appreciate. Brilliant service with the receptionist even offering to keep our son till we finished our meals. My son ended up pulling my cup of tea spilling it all over the place, and that too was attended to very quickly and settled smoothly. 10/10 recommend 😌

I was searching for hotels in Nuwara Eliya, I was also looking for near by food options also. Because I was aware that we will be reaching late. That time foods options will be less, if we can't decide quickly. So I shortlisted Indian Summer, which is 20 seconds away from our hotel and just beside the lake. When ever I visit any places, I always try to explore most of the local cuisine. But after certain time we feel to go back to basic. Also excited to taste Indian flavours in their style. We were the last customers, so the restaurant was less crowded. Ambiance was good and large seating area will provide you private space with relaxed seating. Menu was elaborated and price was on higher note but taste was how moderate to low. The price we paid and the taste we had was not matching. Maybe that's because we are used to with the Indian taste, which was missing in the Sri Lankan variant or maybe the last batch prepared with less attention more relaxation. Prawn Cocktail Murgh Irani Kebab Paneer Tikka Kekab Mutton Biriyani Mutton Rara Methi Chicken Tandoori Roti Mutton Rara and Murg Irani Kebab was delicious and soft.
