Beautiful
oasis
in
the
middle
of
Mainz!
I've
been
here
plenty
of
times
and
the
gardens
are
beautiful
throughout
the
whole
year!
Perfect
place
to
stroll
around
and
explore
plans
and
trees
from
different
parts
of
the
world.
There
is
always
something
new
and
different
blooming
so
you
never
get
bored.
My
favourite
part
is
what
I
call
the
“alley
of
the
giants”
where
you
get
to
walk
among
huge
sequoia
and
pine
trees.
I
must
say
every
time
I
am
here
I
feel
the
garden
is
unfinished.
I
understand
it’s
a
university
garden,
but
some
of
the
parts
are
not
really
maintained,
high
grass
is
interfering
with
plants
and
some
of
the
places
are
just
piles
of
rock
and
dust.
However
it
is
a
place
of
peace
and
relaxation,
there
are
plenty
of
benches
to
sit
on
and
near
the
university
exit
is
a
seating
area
under
the
huge
tree
with
an
open
library
book
shelf.
Toilets
are
available
as
well.
There
are
multiple
gates
to
enter
exit
and
there
is
no
fee.
Last
entry
at
5:45
PM
and
the
garden
closes
at
6
PM.
At
the
entrance
you
can
scan
a
QR
code
and
get
some
information
about
the
garden
and
its
flora
in
English!
I
am
yet
to
visit
the
greenhous,
which
is
apparently
amazing!
