We took our friend here for her 30th birthday as a surprise and it over exceeded all of our expectations. The hotel is beautifully decorated, exactly like the photos and videos on their website. The attention to detail was amazing! The rooms are very spacious as they comfortably fit 4 adults and/or kids. A great place for families or groups of friends. The buffet breakfast was one of the best I have ever experienced. A massive selection of choices of hot and cold choices. Something for everyone including those with dietary restrictions. It’s very accessible to get too. Only 20/25 minutes by car from the airport. There is a tram stop outside that takes you right into the city (10 minutes). Plus it is right next to the theme park. We are already planning our next trip!

Mina föräldrar kunde inte sova för att hissarna lät för mycket #stackarsdem. Frukosten was on top mycket bra, Middagen var också on top svärordigt gött.

Incredibly thoughtful hotel with wonderful staff and facilities. Both adults and children enjoy the stay. Comfy bed, warm adjustable lighting, and great bathroom. Breakfast is amazing with plenty vegan options. Aside of just next to the amusement park (literally a few steps away), only a 10-minute cable car ride to central station and downtown. Reasonably priced. Highly recommend!

Great location for Liseberg in Gothenburg next to tram links to get into central Gothenburg. Rooms are luxurious and if you are lucky enough to get a park view room you are in for one hell of a view! Fantastic amenities and the breakfast included in the stay has great variety, as well as the chargeable evening buffet, all of the food was to a high quality

I loved this hotel, it was classy and fun at the same time. The room was clean and comfortable although the fancy lighting system took a little getting used to! Food and drinks were reasonably priced for Sweden and the quality was excellent. I recommend the cocktails in the Compagniet bar.

Won’t judge the hotel for its opening weekend. They just didn’t seem all too prepared to take on so many guests wanting to eat dinner at the same time 😂 Stayed for two nights. Enjoyed breakfast in the buffet, huge selection! Parents and kids enjoyed it. We where there at 8, seems smart when we saw the line at 9. It’s just so fancy looking, the textures, the furniture, the walls, the atmosphere is just magical. For the kids it’s just perfect: 1 minute from Liseberg. Slides by the reception. Merry-go-round in the breakfast restaurant. The family room is perfect size for a family. Good in the cafe Agnes could have come quicker and be warmer… but I can’t remove the stars anyway. Opening weekend and all. The Chinese restaurant on top where fully booked, if you want dinner there be prepared and book in advanced. I will come back and will recommend to families!

A Grand Experience: Unforgettable Stay at the Whimsical Grand Curiosa Hotel The Grand Curiosa Hotel is a delightful spectacle, a testament to a no-expense-spared philosophy in its recent construction and tasteful design. As you step into its expansive, enchanting lobby, you're met with an array of intriguing features and whimsical decorations that add a touch of magic to the setting. A stunning focal point is the massive stairwell, bedecked with floating sculptures of enormous proportions that seem to cascade from an open book, a sight that will leave guests of all ages in awe. Adding to the charm, a slide zips you from the first floor directly down to the ground floor, a detail that perfectly encapsulates the hotel's child-friendly ethos. Amidst the jubilant laughter and the buzz of excited voices, the hotel impressively maintains a tranquil ambiance in its corridors and rooms, ensuring a peaceful retreat for guests. The rooms are a joy to stay in - spacious and decked out with fanciful decor. The hotel's commitment to its guests extends to its dining options. Breakfast is a delectable spread, varied and utterly satisfying. As a vegan, I can personally vouch for the abundance of cruelty-free options that will put any vegan guest at ease. The dinner buffet echoes the excellence of breakfast, offering a diverse range of delicious dishes to end the day on a high note. A standout aspect of the Grand Curiosa Hotel is its prime location. It takes a mere minute to reach the Liseberg amusement park, making it an ideal base for families seeking fun-filled adventures. In conclusion, the Grand Curiosa Hotel is more than just a place to stay; it's an experience that brings joy and wonder to its guests. Our family was thoroughly enchanted, and we will certainly be returning for more unforgettable memories.

I can’t stress enough how beautiful this hotel is, the first impressions were impeccable from the beginning. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the dining is fantastic. Tomas was a friendly face to greet us and Emilia from the rooftop bar topped off the whole experience for us. Can’t wait to come again!

OMG this was a one big treat. Well check in took some time and we could do it at 4pm which felt a bit late. However we could leave our bags at their storage and go to the fun park which opened at 12. We stayed in Deluxe room which was beautifully decorated, clean and just a joy to be in. Breakfast was amazing with a great selection of everything including a mountain of whipped cream. They have a carousel and a slide inside. There were also cute mascots.Overall it was fantastic and we felt well looked after by the staff.

Fantastic hotel. Polite and friendly multilingual staff. Lovely theme. Rooms are clean, modern and professional, with that theme park twist you would expect. Super close to Liseberg Amusement Park entrance, Liseberg Södra tram stop, and a Coop supermarket right across the road. (Note: Stayed as part of a group trip for pre-opening and did not pay full rate).

A very impressive building that seems a bit out of its time, but in a very positive way. Very comfortable and cozy rooms. Great for families with multiple kids. Children's carousel and slide directly in the main hall, and a water adventure park that will open in 2024. I am here for business reasons and booked the hotel mainly because of positive reviews, price, and proximity to a customer visit. When I arrived, I was absolutely positively surprised and would come back again, also with my family.

Outstanding!🤩 It’s not often you come across a theme hotel with such attention to detail. Everything was spot on; the carefully decorated hall, the slide, the grand carousel, our cozy room, the stylish bathroom, the selection of cakes at the cafe and so on. Very clean. Accommodating staff at check-in. Wow! We just had a single night but loved it!🥳 No parking at the hotel but several parking garages near by.

Great value for money in a fantastic location being quite literally directly outside the awesome Liseberg theme park, which I can honestly say rivals (and maybe even beats?!) Disneyland in terms of quality & experience. Beds are comfortable, rooms are spacious & very well-taken care of, a calm & relaxing atmosphere in the hotel with loads of unique little touches including fun decor, slides & of course the views from the rooftop. Super friendly helpful staff with a great sense of humour too, and delicious food where I can comfortably say I absolutely adored pretty much everything I ate. I will recommend Grand Curiosa to anyone who wishes to visit Liseberg

Just returned from a business trip in Gothenburg Sweden and stayed in Liseberg Grand Curiosa hotel. I stayed in the hotel from about a week. The stay itself is a memorable experience! Highly recommend anyone visiting the city, especially if you are going to bring your kids, give this hotel a try! You won't regret.

This hotel has everything and then some. Perfect for families with kids thanks to the wonderful decor, indoor slide and carousel as well as the fun and lovely rooms. The breakfast is fabulous and even the gym gets a top score thanks to a proper barbell rack, treadmills with GymKit integration and complementary water and towels. Thanks for a great stay and wonderful service.

Wow! First experience staying in a hotel that's actually almost inside the theme park. The rooms are beautifully designed and staff is very courteous. Breakfast was also very good. Kids loved the experience a lot and so did we parents. We have stayed at a lot of different hotels around the world but this one exceeded our expectations in every aspect. Just plan the parking through the app before heading here to make your life easier. And Lisberg amusement tickets need to be booked in advance as well.

Very very busy, took a while to get to speak with staff at front desk regarding an issue with the room but a lovely place. Room was great for size and decor but very dark and on the side which just looks out at a co-op and the street - a view of Liseberg would have been A++. Room was available early though which was well appreciated given we got there at midday. Overall a great hotel, can see it only getting better with time.

This hotel is simply beautiful. The lobby is designed in a colonial style, with lots of stylish details and furniture. The rooms are spacious and feature a separate sleeping area for children. The staff is friendly and super helpful. The breakfast is served in a restaurant with a carousel next to it. There are many options for a good breakfast, even for vegans and people with allergies. Only the scrambled eggs could be better, not the “pre-made” ones. Overall a great adventure for us and for our children. Definitely worth visiting.

Overall a great experience with just a small things to improve. The staff are amazing so the service is perfect. The food was delicious (buffet) although the space between tables is just too tight. Plus for the robot in the restaurant:) The room was one of the best we’ve experienced but the lighting was a bit too soft and the controls confusing. The interior in the hotel was just awesome and it felt like living in a movie. Able to store your luggage when you spend the entire day at Liseberg is a also great service. If you have kids make sure to visit the game room. We will definitely visit again!

Only came to eat in the restaurants, the food was good, but nothing amazing, and for the price they charged for it I sure would have hoped it would be. They are on the tapas bandwagon, so they are all small dishes like these. Among us, the favorite on the table was the pork!

Perfect stay if you plan a day at Liseberg. Rooms literally above the entrance with view of the park. The best breakfast I've seen at a hotel in a long time, also nice vegan options. Maybe not perfect if you want to combine with city life but managable with short commute.

I visited the hotel from July 16th - July 23rd 2023 during the Gothia Cup tournament. With me, were 57 others. 49 young people aged 14 - 18 and 8 staff. Having only been open a couple of months, I guess this could have been quite daunting. Instead, hotel staff went about making our lives as simple and straightforward as possible, whilst also offering 5 star service. Check-in was simple and quick, support throughout our stay was efficient and friendly and our young people felt well and truly at home. One little note was when one of our young people checked out at 03:30 and was waiting in reception, hotel staff recognised this and brought him a large bag of food for breakfast and lunch (for no extra cost and without request). I would like to thank the staff for their level of personal service throughout our stay and the patience needed when housing so many young people. The rooms are excellent - maybe lack storage for clothes, but to be fair 16 year olds would rather live out of their suitcase! Clean, well maintained throughout the week, functional and perfect for any type of stay. The bathrooms were immaculate and the raindrop showers are incredible. All fitted with shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Saves you packing or buying this! One little note on the rooms is the soundproofing - one minor detail but one major effect. I couldn’t hear anything (and there was a building site next to my room). Also stopped the noise of other people walking the corridors and slamming doors. The buffet for breakfast (didn’t have lunch and dinner) was well organised and vast! Felt like there was something for everyone. Due to the size of our group, the hotel opened a second room to allow all of our young people to eat together. Whether you’re a light morning eater or want to fill up, it covers all bases. Staff were friendly, always on hand to help and sometimes help our young people (and me) navigate some of the stations they may not have been used to using. Location wise, it’s perfect. Great access to a lot of the city, only a minute tram from centralstation. Opposite is a Coop, plus multiple restaurants if you want to eat out. All quite reasonable cost wise as well. In summary, this hotel has nailed its first few months and I couldn’t have been happier with the service and overall quality of our stay. All of our young people loved the hotel and want to stay there if we attend the competition next year. Thank you all staff!

Just went in for a coffe (i.e. Swedish fika). A place well worth a visit, with excellent interior and lovely ambiance you'll probably stay a little bit longer than you intended.

I walked by the hotel to the parking lot with my child after we visited Liseberg. Some persons live in the upper part of the hotel threw down a lot of ice cubes (should be in the drinks) to us. I talked to the hotel reception girl, she said she couldn’t do anything and suggested me to call the police by myself.

Fantastisk hotell! Bra ansatte, god mat, god service, perfekt utsikt fra takterrassen. Beste plassen å bo hvis du skal på Liseberg, eller bare i Gøteborg generelt!
