I usually enjoy the well prepared pepper soup and I am always impressed with the efficient services. D VAD restaurant and Bar is a place to visit once you're in Makurdi.

The environment is very serene and clean, exceptional customer service and more importantly affordable and mouth watering Nigerian delicacies. I had a great time and I am glad I stopped over. Keep up the good work.

If you are in Makurdi town and wish to have a good African meal and drinks then The VAD is your surest choice. It is Central in a serene place and gives you the opportunity to see the bubbly life at the High Level part of Makurdi. The most interesting thing about this place is the fact that you get more for paying less and the waitress and waiters are smart, smiley, patient, friendly and they pay attention to details. They have very tasty local dishes for vegetarians like me with free parking space although parking spaces may be limited at their business peak hours. My favourite in Mkd.

With a very serene environment, affordable and tasty meals, I recommend you give it a try especially if you like mature environments.. before I forget, the drinks are always very chilled, I enjoy my favorite youghurt drink at D VAD too..

D VAD Restaurant and Bar is simply the most comfortable zone for food and drinks in Makurdi. It is one place where you can spend little to gain much as prices of food and drinks including all the other edibles are quite moderate.
