I
find
it
difficult
to
give
an
institution
a
poor
rating
but
that's
the
reality
I
have
to
face
with
Hallydays
Hotel
and
Resorts.
The
rooms
are
tidy
but
the
facility
is
ageing
-
in
my
room,
the
windows
don't
shut
because
the
handles
are
broken
and
the
nets
are
torn
and
unrepaired,
the
toilets
don't
flush,
the
water
heater
is
leaking
and
the
air-conditioning
and
television
don't
have
a
remote.
The
staff
are
quite
helpless
with
this
situation.
As
I
type
this
feedback,
it's
February
16,
2022
my
sister's
birthday
and
the
harmattan
in
Makurdi
is
relentless.
There's
light
red
dust
everywhere,
the
air
is
thin
and
charged
and
the
cool
breeze
is
dust-laden.
How
can
someone
sleep
in
a
room
with
a
window
that
let's
dust
in
with
heavy
breeze
blowing?
At
first
I
thought
it
was
an
isolated
issue
but
I
found
that
almost
every
other
room
is
experiencing
some
sort
of
malfunction
-
to
be
honest,
it
seems
as
though
the
management
of
the
hotel
have
never
invested
enough
in
manpower
and
maintenance
to
give
Hallydays
a
proper
people
and
technology
facelift
since
after
it
was
established,
according
to
what
I
saw
at
the
reception,
on
March
6,
2012.
Almost
every
bit
of
hardware
needs
repairs
urgently.
Guests
could
be
electrocuted
in
the
bathrooms,
as
the
wiring
along
the
room
hallways
show
signs
of
short-circuiting.
Beware
of
Hallydays.
The
location
is
decent
because
it
is
inside
a
GRA
but
the
supplies
you
may
hope
to
get
are
limited
and
quite
expensive
for
a
city
like
Makurdi.
Hallydays
deserves
a
2-star
rating
until
they
gather
their
wits
and
give
the
facility
a
proper
upgrade.
