We had an incredible time with our guide Ronald at Toucan Lodge. We stayed 3 nights and our time was packed with activities. We loved seeing around the amazon and the lodge provided a great social space to meet others and have fun.

Beautiful lodge; the kitchen staff, the guides and the boat driver all work very hard and do an amazing job to make your stay an unforgettable experience. The beds are super comfortable, the food is excellent (I am vegan, and they made an extra effort to accommodate me); and the trips into the jungle and their other activities are very rewarding. Highly recommended!

Stayed with the Tucan Amazon Lodge for three days and two nights, and it was great! You start with a ninety minute drive from Manaus, then a forty-five minute boat ride provided by the Lodge. In addition to the room, all meals are provided, wildlife viewing and some activities are included. There is no "hot" water, but private bathrooms with showers are standard. Because of the location there are few bugs and we encountered no mosquitos at the Lodge.. We had an especially good time with guides Eduardo and Julio who are very knowledgeable.

I would stay here any chance I get!!! It was a unique and valuable experience that I'll never forget. It was like glamping in the jungle. The food was outstanding! The guide was informative and we had several tours that were adventurous, entertaining, and informative. I hope everyone gets a chance to visit this magical place. I simply can't say enough good things!

Great service, clean and well maintained rooms, simple but very good food. The owners, Flavio and Cecilia, are friendly, take care of every request, and know the area extremely well. Options to go caiman watching, swim with pink river dolphins, fish for piranha, or just relax in a hammock on the porch and watch the sun rise over the river. Highly recommended if you want a jungle lodge experience in the Manaus region.

Great place to stay. Accommodations were very comfortable. Meals were always on time and the food was never disappointing. Most meals consisted of rice and beans, salad, two types of protein (usually fish) and pineapple and watermelon. There is Wifi in the common area (not in the rooms). It’s not fast but you can’t complain when you have wifi in the jungle. All of the staff are extremely nice and eager to help and serve any way they can. The room was nice. It had a functioning air conditioner and an electric water heater shower head. Only negative thing to point out is we had a family of rodents that lived in our roof. We never saw them but their squeaks and scurrying around at night were at times annoying. In speaking with other guests it seemed like this was more the exception than the norm so don’t let it dismay you. It was a great place to stay and we’d happily go back.
