The best place ever. If you are planning to be at Amazon, this is the best option. This is a family business, so they are making everything for you. Meal is a kind of wonderful land, Danilo's mum is an amazing cook. Breakfast, lunch and dinner they all full of options and very tasty. Danilo's father look after you like you are his child, show you around, tell you all trees and plants, bring you an umbrella, so bright and helpful. Danilo himself is so energetic, smiling person and think about your holiday every detail. He knows amazon river and secret nice places perfectly well. Definitely join every tours, specially night tour and swim with dolphins in the river. I can talk more and more but not enough how lovely place and people they are. Bungalow has an amazing river view. Ok, there is some mosquito but put a repellent on you and enjoy the view.

Unser 5 tägige Aufenthalt war einzigartig! Die Lodge wird von Danilo und seinen Eltern geführt und ist wundervoll. Die Aussenanlage ist top gepflegt und unser Bungalow (wir hatten den großen mit Ausblick) war sehr sauber, die Klimaanlage hat einwandfrei funktioniert. Danilos Mutter kocht mit ihrer Helferin 3x am Tag frisches, authentisches und abwechslungsreiches Essen. Es hat uns großartig geschmeckt! Fast alles wird selbst angepflanzt oder stammt aus der unmittelbaren Nachbarschaft. Die Touren sind genial! Danilo und sein Helfer haben uns die Tier- und Pflanzenwelt des Amazonas gezeigt. Wir konnten Affen, Delfine, Alligatoren, Vögel und jede Menge anderer Tiere in ihrem natürlichen Lebensraum beobachten ohne sie zu hetzen. Auch unsere Angeltour war sehr erfolgreich. Die Natur rund um die Lodge ist atemberaubend schön. Zwischen den Touren und Mahlzeiten hat uns Danilos Vater das Leben im Amazonas gezeigt und all die Pflanzen die er anbaut. Danilos Mutter hat sogar den Speiseplan auf uns abgestimmt! Faultiere, Iguanas und Affen leben direkt neben den Bungalows und vom Balkon konnten wir sie täglich beobachten. Moskitos gibt es nur sehr wenige. Individuelle Wünsche konnte uns Danilo perfekt erfüllen, vielen Dank nochmal an David! Sehr positiv möchte ich den Umgang von Danilo uns seiner Familie mit der Natur hervorheben, als wir Touren gemacht haben, wurde sogar der Müll der am Flussufer lag aufgesammelt und mitgenommen. RESPEKT für so viel Achtung vor der Natur! Ich kann jedem, der abseits vom Massentourismus den Amazonas kennen lernen möchte nur empfehlen, besucht die Alta Vista Amazon Lodge! Abschließend möchte ich noch erwähnen, es handelt sich wirklich um ein absolutes All-inclusive Paket. Alles an Essen Getränken und Touren war im Preis inbegriffen. Ebenfalls der Transfer von und nach Manaus. Wir werden wieder kommen!

Awesome place. Very warm and friendly hosts. Delicious meals. Cabins are tidy and clean. Nice campus and a beautiful view over Amazon River. It is definately worth a visit.

Everything was simple amazing!

Amazing place to spend time and reflecting about life. So peaceful and calm, you can feel the nature and also enjoy a time for you to get off daily stress, I recommend 100%.

We found the lodge because of the great reviews. We had one of the small cottages (before that we considered to book the only big cottage with river view but it was more extensive so we stayed at the cottage) The cottages are totally fine and i am glad we booked the small cottage. Everything is spotless and very clean. You can use the big garden with sunbeds etc. There are quite a few tours you can choose from (sunset wine,cheese and dolphin tour, kaiman dark tour etc.). There are 2 tours daily (one after breakfast, the other in the afternoon). Danilo (the owner) speaks good English and explains a lot about the Amazon Rainforest and the animals, the forest.. There is everything included: meals, drinks (water, coke, juices, beer, wine) and the tours + accommodation. So the price is justified. Danilos mother cooked very delicious brazilian meals and even cooked vegetarian for us. There is a buffet at each meal. The meals are very high standard and everything is super clean. It was a great Stay and I would recommend it to everyone!

A melhor escolha que poderíamos ter feito! O Alta Vista Lodge é um lugar incrível, com uma vista é maravilhosa e construído com zelo e amor. O rio surpreendeu de tão bonito, com passeios e experiências para levar para sempre na memória, com Danilo e Dave sempre atenciosos e nos informando sobre cada detalhe. No jardim vimos alguns visitantes: macacos, pássaros e preguiças. Ao contrário de alguns resorts onde a experiência chega a ser fria, encontramos um ambiente familiar acolhedor. Sr Milton sabe tudo da região e a dona Maria cozinha demais (melhor farofa e feijao). Bonito ver um lugar que respeita, cuida e convive em harmonia com a natureza. Voltaremos com certeza
