I've had several meals at Shahba Rose, aswell as bought gift cards for family and friends. Superb food and a pleasant atmosphere with lovely and attentive hosts. Highly recommend.

I reeeally wanted to go to this place and give it five stars. I’ll start with the positives for that reason. The menu is authentic, with a couple of familiars for the less adventurous (like biryani) and plenty of good Arabic food for those that want something you can’t get in most places The cook(s) definitely know how to cook the food. The people complaining about the food being burned clearly don’t realise that this is supposed to be chargrilled (they aren’t painting the effect on like some places, this is the real deal). Where it falls short is that the ingredients, while fresh, aren’t as fresh as they could be. There are only two items which lost the fifth star entirely - and they’re so easy to fix! The onions have clearly been chopped in advance. First, that really is lazy. There were only eight people in there when we went. Second, they’ve been chopped so far in advance that they’ve developed the distinct smell and taste that comes with leaving chopped onions to sweat. We got the shawarma as one of our dishes. When it came out hot, it was stunning. A real highlight. As it cooled. The taste of the sweaty salad started to take over. It ruined it. Unfortunately, the second item also started to make the dish sticky and soggy The oil wasn’t clean. You could taste it. Again, we were one of the first tables served that night so this really shouldn’t have been the case. Even worse, this dirty oil infected every cooked dish that we had It’s a real shame because the building is very clean! I have no concerns about hygiene but the oil has clearly been used, reused, and left to be used again for a few more nights The quality of the menu and cooking itself, along with the service from the staff, should make this place five stars, even without sprucing up the outside. Unfortunately, these two issues knock a full star off I genuinely hope that they address these items because this place deserves some real appreciation

We got a Mixed Grill and it was plenty of food for two of us. It came with rice and bread and a little salad so it was a good value. The owner was very helpful and accommodating. The food and service were all excellent.

Amazing authentic Arabic food by a family run business who are really friendly and welcoming. The food was so tasty and flavourful, true Arabic flavour which can be hard to find. It was presented beautifully and the music added to the atmosphere. Everything we ordered was amazing and they even made us a special lemon mint drink :) 100% recommend and will be back again soon!

Empty place, yet the waiter was rushing our order and rushing to get us out - there was literally only one other couple there. Food was not very good.. At all. I got the lamb and rice and my husband got the chicken and rice. Wings for starter and it was so overdone so dry, old and chewy - tasted like a few days old. The lamb had so much fat and barely any meat and the chicken was overcooked and dry. I actually got food poisoning from the lamb and had the runs.. I was also hurling in the bathroom that night and the following morning. Would not ever return nor recommend this place.

Very disappointed. Food was really bad. Chops was burn and was bone only no meet. Chicken and lamp tekah very chewy. Kabab was the worst. Dry no test. Not recommended at all.

The place is far from the center and the building is dilapidated from the outside. There are no signs directing you to enter. The food is delicious and the staff is friendly.

Amazing restaurant and Shisha bar. The food was absolutely delicious. The restaurant is run by a family and they were very warm and welcoming. I've been in on 3 different occasions and have enjoyed every visit. I would highly recommend you visit if you have a craving for Middle Eastern cuisine. The prices are fair as well, got to indulge in the mixed grill, hot starter platter and the grilled sea bass - All of which were quite delicious. They also had various cakes and desserts on offer, including Baklava and Cheesecake. Will be visiting again.

Quite simply some of the best food I've ever had! Atmosphere was relaxing and calm with fantastic service. Will definitely be back again!

Yesterday I attended an event. I requested vegetarian food in advance when booking my place. When food was being brought to the tables I asked two different members of staff to confirm what was vegetarian. I was told all starters were vegetarian, and that there was one vegetarian main course with rice. One member of staff pointed to the starters which were being arranged on the table and said they were vegetarian. The issue is this: one plate arranged on the table had falafel, spring rolls, and another item - which contained LAMB. This was arranged with the starters. I was NOT told they were NOT vegetarian and took a mouthful. This is the first time I have taken meat in 25 years. This is a disgrace. Do you not respect people's beliefs, allergies, and values? You did not take care to inform me what was vegetarian despite me asking on quite a number of occasions for confirmation. It was not a matter of a mistake, it was negligence and failure to help a customer with a specific request. I am very very upset by this.

Food was excellent overall so rather a shame that the place overall was tired looking and the effort seemed to be on the adjoining shisha lounge. Outside looked rather off-putting but inside was considerably better. Main dishes great with fabulous 🍋 flavour

I ordered on Uber Eats with low hopes, every time I tried vine leaves in Manchester, I really didn’t like it. These were very tasty and the closest to authentic which I have tried in this city. Sad that I only discovered this place near to when I am leaving.

Delicious food and generous portions. Most of the diners were extended families celebrating Eid. The staff were great. There is no alcohol served, but that wasn't a problem as their Mango Juice hit the mark and complemented the food. I recommend that people try this fantastic place. 👌

I came out for dinner with my partner, my mum and her Husband. What a lovely place. I have never tasted such flavourful food! Absolutely outstanding. The menus are a little scruffy but that can easily be overlooked by the amazing service. The staff are friendly and attentive! I will definitely be coming back next time I'm in the area.
