This place should be way busier than it is! The food is fantastic, the cocktails, even better. The staff are wonderful as well. Had such a good time our first visit that we came back the next day for a repeat dinner and drinks before I leave Manchester tomorrow.

I visited this establishment no more than four weeks ago. It was a most welcoming experience, one particular gentleman that served me was especially kind to me. I believe his name was Ross although I’m not sure, all I can remember was his long golden locks and how the sun rolled down them leaving this celestial glow wherever he roamed, he quickly took my order and with the hint of a smile I knew I was safe in his hospitable hands, before I even began to appreciate the cosy atmosphere and the comfortable seating arrangements Ross swept up to my table and delivered my food with the skill and composure that assured me he was a veteran of a thousand waited tables and even more happily served customers. After I had my sufficiency he even gave me 25p for the bus back home. So yeah, pretty nice place.

Cheap, cheerful and a very funky environment. Food is quick and simple but just imaginative enough to make me want to come back. Good veggie and vegan options.

Friendly atmosphere and pleasant staff. There's a really good selection of quality beers including guest IPA's. The food is good and quite tasty but not the largest portions, oh be warned the food deals with the free drinks only last until 4pm but the menu doesn't say that. They also daily offers and they give NHS discount.

Great place, came for some drinks before a gig ended up coming back later on it was that good price wise. We also had a sharing board which for me was absolutely well with the £15 price tag! Will be back for sure.

We found the mains were a little meh with the taco bowl being mostly sauce. On the flip side, they didn’t skimp on the sauce 🙈. The desserts were the ones to go for though! Busy atmosphere with lots of people enjoying themselves. The decor wasn’t stunning but fits in with the pub vibe. Presentation 💖💖💖🤍🤍 [good, met expectations] This was a hit and miss again. The taco bowl looked delicious, and the donuts were really nicely stacked but the biscoff dessert was almost just plopped into a bowl. Definitely could be a improved a little but overall not bad :) Service: 💖💖🤍🤍🤍 [some good, some bad] We’re sad to say service wasn’t great and we’ve been there a few times. The staff appeared a little grumpy and we had an issue where they hadn’t heard of the drinks we ordered or how to make them… even though they were listed on the menu. Understandable if they’re new though, we don’t want to be too critical here. We think there’s some room for improvement. Value for money: 💖💖💖💖💖 [exceptional] Excellent value. 2-for-1 cocktails all day everyday is such a good deal. You can have a cocktail with a friend and not break the bank!

The staff went out of their way to make room for us on what was one of the busiest days of the year. ( Coldplay, Arctic monkeys, Elton John and the UK subs all had gigs). Also, was the all Manchester cup final. The food was reasonable pub grub . But everything else was fab

The worst burger I've ever had. Two stacked farmfoods gristle burgers at a premium price. No soap or running water in the toilets. Pint was decent tbf

Nice pub and great Staff. Usually people are ok except 2 weeks ago -Sunday 16 October-, when someone very cheeky and weird ruined my day by not letting me sit on a chair I was keeping with my coat on -I was ordering something to drink and they were sat, anyway but they didn't want me to sit next to them!- Ps: the barman was kind saying I could have stayed sat but still these 2 "people" - calling them like this is a compliment when u think the way they reacted was worse than an animal/beast one- were very rude and verbally aggressive!

The place is a nice pub, with great atmosphere and a nice place to be. I may have been unfortunate, but my food wasn't brilliant. However, the online ordering and paying made it a really convenient place to eat before a gig

Love this place friendly staff and lovely food. The cocktails are amazing 🤩. The chicken wings were 1 for 30p so we got 10 they come straight off the bone yum 🤤

Came for a bottomless brunch before a day out and was so worth it! Both the price we paid and the options we had made us very happy. Ophelia who was serving us was really nice and always kept our drinks coming. Definitely would recommend to anyone fancying this place.

Absolutely loved our bottomless brunch! 100% your money worth, £25 for two hours of bottomless cocktails etc and had an amazing food! Griff was absolutely lovely and made sure everything was okay for us! 5/5 for customer service with griff :)

Griff was the best server. Attentive, helpful and great at his job. Would really recommend to come for bottomless brunch or just food and drinks.

We went here for a uni cricket society social. We hired the top of the pub out. They provided us with a bar for our use only and the food was great. Lots of TV screens to watch the sport and a good tap selection downstairs.

Good food, very reasonably priced. Friendly fast service. Rather lacking in atmosphere when we went - I gather it is a student pub, and we went in the vacation! Our experience therefore probably not representative!

Friendly pub with wide range of beers. Very well maintained. A real pleasure to visit.

Wednesday night pint, a Neck oil and a pint of cask. Both good pints and had a few wings for 30p each (l think that's just Wednesday) they were really good too. Pretty quite and a good place for a quite pint with some friends. Probably much busier at weekend. Overall a solid pub that does good food. Well worth a visit and close to the Academy so we'll placed for post or pre gig pints.

I Don't like it as much now they changed the food menu. It's too much. You can't get simple stuff there anymore which you would expect from a pub. It's still good for drinks and the area is spacious

Great night at this pub with friends we had a ball! Atmosphere was great and the staff were so nice, such a nice vibe pub and the food was lovely - too marks to the chef! Will definitely be visiting again

Lovely pub. Showing sports on numerous screens. Good service. We ordered pizza pretty expensive for what you got. (Stone Baked oblong pizza not your traditional pizza) we also ordered cauliflower wings but chicken wings were served - luckily one of us wasn't vegetarian!

What a lovely pub! Greeted by happy team at the bar & venture upstairs to the second floor which is my new favourite place! Food is top notch & they serve a good pint - Highly recommend!

Terrible experience in this place.... - Visited on a Sunday morning (11am) for brunch and they were out of everything - no egg, no hash browns, nearly out of bread - Ordered a breakfast buttie for £6 and got the joke of a sandwich as below! Better to go to the Wetherspoons 2mins away than this.

What a gem of a place. On two floors with a mezanine floor in between. A good selection of ales and a relaxing, laid back atmosphere. Highly recommended.

I really enjoyed my meal here, the staff was lovely, attentive to detail and made sure we had a nice time. The atmosphere was perfect for a hot day, with the special extra touches to detail for example the plants and cute stickers on the windows, I felt at home and comfy. The food was excellent and perfect, it came timely and was the perfect portion size. Definitely worth the money and a lovely pub for everyone!

Popped in on a couple nights and the staff was lovely and friendly, shout out to Jess, Dylan, Ester and Charley. The drinks and food was lovely. My friends loved the pub, it was a lovely vibe. I will be back soon!!!!

The building and staff were nice, but be careful buying food. Paid £4 for 'no-chicken nuggets with iceberg lettuce, pomegranate seeds, sesame seeds, and coriander'. Received 5 nuggets with some semi sliced lettuce and some hot sauce. Not saying that the seeds would have made it worth £4, but if you're getting only 5 nuggets you might expect them to acknowledge that it's this expensive and present it nicely. At least include all the ingredients on the menu. The staff were all very nice - want to make that clear. Music was way too loud, but it was nice that they were taking song requests - an extension of the quiz.

Very student-y pub with comfy chairs and large tables. Order using an app. Some vegan options but the food is not customisable through the app at all so I couldn't get a burger without cheese for example. Decent prices and some food and drink deals

This is a lovely pub, I forgot to take photos!!!! Had a quick bite here with friends. The staff are lovely and gave us great info about the name of the pub and some local history.There are 2 seating levels to choose from and both areas are lovely with lots of comfy seats. Prices are good, service is friendly and the cheese chips delicious. There is a Saturday brunch for 28 pounds pp with drinks, be sure to book it though before hand.

Roxy is the most amazing waitress. She translated the whole menu into Greek for me as English isn’t my first language. My second cousin had an ear infection at the table and she recommended a great saline solution that has already cleared it up in the 2 hour slot of bottomless brunch. I have invited Roxy to my wedding. Thank you.

Amazing pub just on the outskirts of UoM main campus with lots of different deals and student discounts on different days. Nice staff and really nice decor. Upstairs is bookable for social events too, with a pool table and plenty of seats for societies.

Just dined there with their new menu and food was spot on! Excellent craft beer selection and lots of offers. Seems like they've got lots on throughout the week (quiz, games night etc) and you can watch live sport there too

surprisingly good scran and service for a chain. came for the 2 for 1 pizza before a gig and was chuffed with the amount of actually nice looking vegan options, as well as great craft beer on tap. esther was our server and she was lovely. would come here again in a heartbeat!

Amazing atmosphere, food and great service from Dylan, Murray and Anthony they made our night. Would recommend to anyone and the food was calorific delicious but also offered calories and healthy options 10/10 would recommend.

Authentic pub vibes close to the centre with good food and amazing service. If you're looking for a good place to have some drinks with friends that are reasonably priced than look no further. Ross served us all evening and catered for our every needs. It was our leaving party and I couldn't asked for anything more. Definitely come to this pub!!

Great atmosphere staff were lovely food was tasty and great value, dropped in for lunch Wednesday is wings day £0.30 per wing!! They were like armadillo crispy on the outside soft on the inside 🤤 The pizza was lush too.

I've been to worse places to watch the football but it wasn't great. Can't fault the staff at all, who held my table after my train was late getting in. But the quality of food and drink was terrible. I got a chicken and avocado 'sub' for lunch - the chicken was cold (practically the whole thing apart from the chips was cold) and the avocado was nowhere to be seen. I later paid £8 for a pint of Lukas and a diet coke (mostly ice). The Lukas was undrinkable - tasted like they hadn't cleaned the pipes in a long time. I'd usually take it back but the queue for a drink was so long (which I can't really complain about as the football was on) that I didn't bother.
