Great pub, amazing food and super nice waiters!! We had the fish and chips, the fried cod was delicious and really big!! There are not many chips but since the cod is soo big it doesn't feel like a lacking. The staff is also really attentive and open to changes in the dish! Prices are more than fair given the amount and quality of the food! They offer a typical pub offer, and every week the specials change! There are calories on the menu so if you are on a diet/care about them, this pub is the place for you. I need to admit they are reeeally high, but that is normal with pub food. The desserts look unbelievable, but if you have had a main I would reccomend sharing them. The atmosphere is great for a lunch, dinner or even just for a pint. I will definitely be coming back to try their roast I really reccomend this pub to anyone looking for a upbeat, yet cozy pub in didsbury

My wife and I used to live in Didsbury, and The Didsbury has always been our favourite pub. Visited it this afternoon, and boy, was it a treat. A pint of Greene IPA, and a delicious homemade steak and ale pie - what else would a true Brit want? Our server Steven was very helpful and polite. Top pub!

Really good food, but could do with some more vegan friendly options. Ran out of dairy free milk while we were there too. But very delicious nonetheless. Plus some lovely little parks for walks after lunch.

A Greene King pub and part of the Chef & Brewer collection. It's a country side style pub nestled in Didsbury and does provide for a lovely drink in a park environment. Food wise, it still feels a little mass produced, it's also competing with lots of great food options just down the road. A perfect place for a pint with friends on a sunny day, otherwise there's little more it offers.

Good staff, typicals selection of Greene King beers / ales. Lovely fish and chips. Has its own parking (currently free until they find new contractor) and great end to a walk at nearby park!

The staff were lovely, my main meal of beef cheeks was delicious but my dessert of Christmas pudding was a diabolical serving. It looked like it had been through a wringer. Not recommended as a choice.

We stopped here for a few drinks on a whim and sat in the beer garden which was lovely. Plenty of seats and Knowledgeable staff (thomas I believe was his name) who gave us some beer recommendations. Reasonable prices and a spotlessly clean pub and toilets. They have a good pub grub menu, which we didn't try as we'd already eaten but it looked delectable and satisfactory. Very good atmosphere, vibrant and I highly recommend. I will be stopping by again the next time I'm in the area. Great job guy's, keep it up.

Lovely pub lunch with a good friend. Pleasantly surprised and the food was great!! Can’t go wrong with fish and chips! The fish wasn’t mushy inside either, chips were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. I’ll definitely be visiting again!

Great looking pub , good atmosphere, nice surroundings , great service , freindly staff. Food was not up to the standards of the staff or surroundings . Very clean well kept Smothered chicken was good but the chips a little undercooked fish and chips was no taste to the Atlantic cod I don't recommend it at all. Food presentation is good . Portions on the small size for standard main meals. Great for lunch a and dinner. Enjoyable place to go always busy Only tried 2 dishes but there's a lot on the menu and it's only an opionion on the food other people may find the fish and chips perfect . Highly recommended

The Sunday dinner is always amazing here. The meat is cooked perfectly. Liam served us today and he was really welcoming and friendly. He also made sure our little one was looked after which I thought was so sweet. Great staff and great food.

Had a lovely brunch in the sunshine in the large outdoor seating area at the front of the Didsbury. The perfect rest-stop on our bike ride. We enjoyed a very tasty “leafless salad” washed down with perfectly ice-cold peroni. Experience made perfect by Steven who went the extra mile with his friendly service. Thank you Steven! Would definitely recommend!

A great traditional meal at this quintessentially British pub. I had the steak and ale pie — super yummy. The beer was also wonderful!

Absolutely loved my experience at The Didsbury! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The staff were incredibly friendly, making sure we were well taken care of throughout our visit. The food was exceptional—especially the fish and chips, which were perfectly crispy on the outside and flaky on the inside. A wide variety of craft beers and classic pub drinks rounded out a fantastic evening. Whether you're looking for a cozy spot for a date night or a lively venue to catch up with friends, The Didsbury delivers on all fronts. Highly recommend!

Beautiful pub with a wonderful beer garden and great parking! We had the Sunday roasts and they were delicious, definitely recommend the vegan / vegetarian sunday roast too, ask for cranberry sauce with it! The bacon and cheese burger was also amazing!

Beautifully rustic decor, very pleasing to the eye. Good customer service, very personable. The food was excellent and could tell that everything was freshly cooked. Will certainly visit again.

Called in for Sunday lunch. The slow-roast rib of beef was divine, the caramelised meat just melted off the bone. As near to perfect as makes no difference. Plenty of it too.

A lovely pub, which has literally been around for centuries. They do decent food, a selection of nice ales and wines. The upstairs function room is great and the parking is now free which is very convenient. The staff have always been really friendly and pleasant on our recent visits.

Came here for a meal on New Year’s Eve with family and was blown away by how much this place has improved. This was easily the best meal out I’d had all year, and several members of our party also agreed. Particular standouts are the Signature Burger which was perfectly made and incredibly succulent, and the Rack of Beef Rib which was cooked better than a lot of specialty meat focused restaurants. Service was excellent from start to finish and all requests were dealt with quickly and professionally. I will be coming here more often, and will be recommending it to everyone who will listen! Well done Didsbury team!

Went for a Sunday roast, had the triple meats roast and the food was lovely. Beef, pork and turkey were nice and tender. Yorkie and crackling were crisp. My only issue would be that peas made up most of the vegetables, I'd have preferred a bit more parsnip and broccoli. Staff were nice and friendly, my friend suddenly had to bring his son with us and they tried to accommodate us but there were no bigger dining tables available, they did inform us we could eat in the bar area and just order at the bar which we did.

By far one of the loveliest meals I've ever had. The starter, a portion of Korean BBQ chicken strips was an extremely well made mixture of sweet and spicy flavour. The beef in the main was slowcooked to perfection and the sticky toffee pudding was the best I've ever had. The staff was friendly, welcoming and cheerful. If you are near and the head chef (John) is in, I would be extremely surprised to find anybody disappointed.

Great value for money and a firm favourite for us for an easy family lunch or early dinner. Good roasts, decent portions, very child friendly and a cosy atmosphere. Thank you to the staff for always being so lovely to our children.

Our favourite Pub, each time we visit we try something different, we haven't been disappointed so far. Make sure you save room for dessert.

Really nice food, friendly staff, and nice atmosphere! We really enjoy our meals outside.

The portion size isn’t what it used to be in this pub. They had run out of gravy as well so my meal was sent back, whilst they made some more. Brought it back to the table all good and hot, and the manager offered us a complimentary drink from the bar, which was a very nice thing to do.

Welcoming atmosphere and lovely food. Kids menu amazing value, plus it's nice to be able to sit and relax after eating without having to worry about what time we have to leave because we have our daughter with us. 👍 Becky was lovely and when my husband asked for more gravy, it was no problem and they bought him a bug jug full!

Very high hopes after viewing reviews but sadly disappointed. Pub/restaurant was cold and you had to wear coats, even the staff were wearing fleeces. Food was overall good but bits were cold. Service was nice and overall I felt welcomed and homely.

Delicious food and a good range of vegan and veggie options. Nice to be able to sit outside too, but a shame that we aren't trusted to set up a tab outside, which also means they won't take food/drinks orders at the outside tables. Something to bear in mind if you have mobility issues.

Waited a while as very busy. But when the food came it was well presented and delicious. My beef and bacon burger on a brioche bun was fresh and delicious as were the fries in skins. Every one had a hearty meal and the waiters were attentive. Never disappointed at the Didsbury. Well done!

Great service and good food. Our Sunday roasts weren't hot enough which was a shame, especially since they are no longer such good value following recent price increases. Despite these reservations this was still an easy 5 stars from me and recommended. Keep up the great work, thank you.

The place is very stuffy inside but it's nice to sit outside. Drinks are good, service is not bad. The toilets were not dirty but there was toilet paper everywhere.I loved its energy.

Great Sunday lunch here! Cozy pub, great beer garden! In todays menu they run out of different things! Steaks are OK, not the best choice of the menu, seasonal vegs were bored and cold!

Perfect pub for a drink and some food after walking the dog (it's right next a great dog walking park, Fletcher Moss). Very dog friendly pub, they even have a small dog menu! The staff are really friendly, and the place inside has nice decor and looks clean.

👍👍 I was craving curry during my stay in Manchester. And Google suggested this place to me. It's in the centre, almost 6 minutes away from my hotel. The interior design is very hip and it has a great vibe. The music that is being played is modern. The curry was amazing. And the prices were perfect for...
