I had my best experience in this restaurant. I loved everything. The service is spectacular. The interaction between the customers and chefs is fantastic. I don’t wanted leave but I had the best time. I love the concept of the restaurant, the way the chefs’ dress and the decorations. The food is fantastic, I eat a lot! Ah the drinks as well! 😅 Well done everyone!

Great experience with a large group! Would've expected a bit more of the fun tricks from the chef but was a Saturday night so understand they're busy. Food was pretty good, a little pricey but you do get a lot of food (rice/potatoes/veg) ended up way too much for most of us. It's fun and definitely worth trying

Sapporo Teppanyaki in Manchester offers a delightful dining experience, elevated by the outstanding performance of our chef, Kenny. His culinary skills were matched only by his entertaining and friendly demeanor, creating a memorable atmosphere. Kenny's expert handling of the teppanyaki grill not only showcased his talent but also engaged diners with flair. Additionally, our server, Jack, contributed to the exceptional evening with impeccable customer service. Attentive and friendly, Jack added to the overall positive impression of the restaurant. Beyond the stellar service, the food itself was a highlight, with an array of dishes showcasing impeccable flavors and skillful preparation. Sapporo Teppanyaki in Manchester, with its talented chef and attentive staff, stands out as a must-visit destination for those seeking an extraordinary dining experience.

Really great experience, chefs were very engaging, entertaining and appeared to be having as much fun as is. Our food was cooked on the griddle in front of our seats, 2 vegetarian choices were cooked separately in the kitchen as the griddle has all the meat on. The chef threw food in to the mouths of customers with great accuracy which was good fun. It was our daughter's birthday and they celebrate birthdays in their own unique way. Very happy with our night there. Fantastic atmosphere made it more enjoyable. Would recommend highly.

We came for my partner's 30th and wow, what an experience! Food was 5/5, but the performance that goes with it was amazing! Definitely recommend this place, food and atmosphere were absolutely on point, even brought out cake (with another show!) for his birthday after a chat with staff! Will 100% come back in the future, and will recommend to everyone!

The Grill wasn’t the only thing that was Fire! 🔥 This restaurant is absolutely amazing! Highly recommend. The staff were great and friendly and the chefs were amazing. It felt like more of an experience than just going to a restaurant absolutely amazing. We ordered the Emperor tasting menu which was a great price for what you get. Food was lush and Fire!

Great fun. Chefs really knew their stuff and put on a good show. Food was delicious and you can't really get fresher! Highly recommend one of the tasting menus, the pace of food was just right. Staff were very accommodating of dietary restrictions and recommended alternatives. Very slick service all round.

Nice performance, interesting experience to have lunch. The food is good. But I am very disappointed that no one reminds us we have dessert in our set meal.

The food here is delicious. I love how the chefs cook in front of you and they always seem jolly. The lamb and chicken they serve are halal. The fresh dessert of the day was an orange chocolate fudge cake which was super tasty. Highly recommended if you live or are visiting Manchester. I would suggest you pre book, especially if you plan to visit on a weekend.

Everything was amazing including the chef bringing on some shows such as fire and throwing a potato into our mouths. However, I still somehow vomited the next day, and i wasn’t allergic to anything.

My partner and I visited as we were in Manchester for the evening. We both opted for the ‘emperor’ tasting menu and vegetable tempura. There was so much food we had to take it home! Service was very fast, waiter was very attentive making sure we had enough drinks, great atmosphere and overall the food was great. Only thing I would’ve liked was more variety in the flavours of the dishes E.g. something like teriyaki chicken, prawns with garlic etc Chocolate spring rolls were an interesting and delicious option! Mango sorbet was alright but didn’t have as much flavour as I expected. Cake of the day looked good as did the cheesecake.

Great experience. First time at a teppanyaki restaurant. We booked a table at 1pm but arrived early, and were able to be seated early. We went for the early bird menu which included starter, main and drink. Salmon was exceptional, large portion of fresh egg fried rice and veg. Chef Kenny was great! Staff lovely and attentive! Overall exceptional experience and will be returning!

Great food. Great service. Kudos to the chef for the cooking and performance. You’re in for a treat and a show watching the chefs doing their work. Steak was on point with the medium rare. Salmon was tender. Sushi was great as well. Chocolate orange was surprisingly good. If only there are more portions for the sushi then it would be perfect for the experience. We ordered a Samari tasting menu and a 2-courses lunch set. The food was more than enough for 2 person. Chefs are experienced, the service attendants are polite and attention to details. Toilets are clean. Overall an unforgettable experience. Will definitely be going again for celebrations or occasions.

Tasteful meal and great dine in experience. The main meals were cooked live on the cooker whereas the starters and soups are prepared in the kitchen. The downside was that the seating space was quite stuffy - It's as if you are sat close to the other people and the mocktails were watery. On the whole it is a delicious Japanese restaurant.

Brilliant, everything was perfect. Staff, food and ofcourse the chef, he makes at least 60% of the experience with his personality, entertainment and people skills. Well done for the entire team. Can't wait for my next visit.

I went by myself as in Manchester on business. Service was fantastic, nothing was too much trouble. Chef's were great, lots of fun. Food very good. Highly recommend! The chocolate spring rolls were delightful.

Been 4 or 5 times, food pretty good, certainly fresh cooked in front of you. This time, I went at a very busy time so a nice atmosphere. The 'entertainment' was not as good as it usually is (perhaps because it was busy?) The prices were a lot higher than previous and they added a service charge to the bill that I didn't see till after I paid. Parking is still a problem, but that's not their fault. Overall enjoyable meal and experience.

Great place for group bookings with how the tables are set out. Chef cooking at the table was fun and entertaining. Waiting staff were amazing, nothing was a bother. The whole place had a great atmosphere 👍🏻

I will be honest I was a little sceptical, it was very loud, very busy, I had never been anywhere like this before. WOW how wrong was I, Praise has to be given to Ben and Kenny (the Chef’s) the food was superb, the entertainment was amazing, the costs are not extortionate and very affordable. I would highly recommended a visit here.

Fabulous atmosphere. The chefs are a lot of fun, and of course, everything is prepared on a traditional flaming hotplate 🔥 . I ordered the fish combination with some of my favourite fish, Seabass, King prawns, Salmon and Scallops, with a veggie stir fry and rice. Absolutely delicious. Highly recommended👌🏾

This place is the best for a fun interactive meal! The chefs are so funny, the food is unreal, I couldn't get enough and I even got the name of the company that makes their biscoff cheesecake! Such a great night, left very happy and had a lot of fun with everyone on the table.

Fantastic location. Had a great first experience dining at Sapporo Teppanyaki! The staff were efficient at taking our drink orders and keeping the dining area clear and clean when we had finished our plates. The food was immaculate and the chefs really do provide great entertainment throughout the dining experience. From start to finish this place was 10/10.

Sapporo Teppanyaki is a great place to dine. The food is delicious and a wide variety of items is available. From beef to lamb to fish to veggie options. They confirmed that the chicken and lamb is halal. The taste of their items is also very good. Sushi tastes great as well and so does their dessert. Booking is highly recommended if you want a place at one of the live cooking stations.

I order a teppanyaki tasting set with lamb rump, chicken and sea bass as mains. The chef called Ben cooked the food in front of me. It was like a mini show that I enjoy so much. Food was delicious. As the chef was originally from Thai while I am also a fan of Thailand, he gave a a little bit of their home made Thai chili to try, it was superb! Service was also excellent, the waiter called Kyle who served me was very personal and helpful, he asked me if it was my first time to dine at the restaurant and gave me a thorough explanation of the menu. Recommended! Don’t miss the Thai chili!

👍👍 I was craving curry during my stay in Manchester. And Google suggested this place to me. It's in the centre, almost 6 minutes away from my hotel. The interior design is very hip and it has a great vibe. The music that is being played is modern. The curry was amazing. And the prices were perfect for...
