Have been here a couple of times but they have just recently renovated and it looks really smart and clean. Love the whole white look which makes the space stand out. The lamb chops are what we usually come for. And yes we come all the way to Manchester from London for these chops. Really soft and juicy but has that crispness from the charcoal grill. Really liked the chicken tikka too, wasn’t dry at all and had a great taste. The milk cake was so good, I could eat another two !! Was a good sized portion as well and probably two people could share. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone! Price wise, it is worth the money. Staff are really friendly as well and service is really fast.

Really good. Not been here in a while, and returned to refurb. Lamb chops platter was really good, tender and full of flavour. Slightly spicy. I also had the Kheer which was tasty too. Do recommend, reasonably priced matching portions.

I was doing a halal foodie trip with my family to Manchester's infamous Curry Mile at Whimmy Road and was recommended by my friend to order their Lamb Chop Platter. We were on our way back to London so decided to grab a takeaway and the children had their excellent ice cream cones whilst we waited. Once we took the Lamb Chops home with a slight reheat as advised by the owner, Bobby, I've got to say that these are the best lamb chops we've ever had and when we come back to Manchester which we definitely will with other family members, we will definitely eat in and order the same again! 😍😋

Excellent Service & Food. It was my second visit and both times we were looked after really well. Lamb Chops were so TASTY. Very friendly service and love the Concept of starters and dessert. Will definitely visit again when I'm in Manchester.

I went there for desserts as I just get the feel from looking at the restaurant is that served hot food as well. First impressions were as if this was a desserts only shop. So I decided to get my favourite falooda and I also ended up ordering 3 way jilani dessert Ferraro rocher it consisted of 1 ice cream scoop, a slice of cake and mousse. If I'm being brutally honest, I am not ever going to order any of the dishes above. But the staff was great, place was clean, tidy and comfy. I'd also say that this place is great value for money - the portion sizes are massive. I'm willing to try them again as they have a great variety of food and desserts.

Good quick and efficient service. Seats around 50 people atleast. Got separate male and female washrooms/toilets. Simple menu to choose from. Got the Lamb chops platter. It contained 4 lamb chops, chips, half a naan and a different dips. Chips were not the best but it was all about the chops, nice and tender meat. Good value for money. Would definitely go back to eat sometime.

Absolutely amazing experience. The place has been recently refurbished so is very clean and has new feel to it. The staff who greeted me were very friendly and kindly showed me to my seat. The service was pretty fast considering it was very busy. There is a huge selection of savoury dishes and desserts, suitable for all diets including vegetarian, vegan and halal. The quality and presentation of each dish was very well good. The items were arranged delicately on the plate. The price was very competitive and the value for money was incredible. I will certainly be visiting soon.

Went to Jilani's after reading reviews. I ordered the grilled chops and my husband the mint lamb cubes. Food came quickly, presented beautifully, piping hot. The chops were tender, juicy and full of flavour. The minted lamb cubes, well they were on a different level, tender, smokey, subtle hint of mint coming through, for me, minted lamb was the winner. Served with a generous amount of chunky fries and naan bread. For dessert, I ordered chocolate fudge cake with custard, outstanding! The service was on point.....Jilani's, well done!

I recently had the pleasure of trying a corn flake tart and custard, and it was absolutely delicious! The tart had a perfect balance of sweetness and crunchiness, with the corn flakes adding a delightful texture. The custard was smooth and creamy, complementing the tart perfectly. I would highly recommend this dessert to anyone looking for a tasty treat. 5 stars!

Jilanis is one of our family regulars. The burgers & lamb chops are our usual but this time I went for the chicken platter and it did not disappoint. Very succulent & Juicy well seasoned chicken. Mango Lassi always a huge hit with my kids! 😋 My only criticism is that there isn't much gluten free option but I'm happy to go back again and again for the chicken. 👌🏼

After walking along curry mile went into this place randomly it wasn't very busy which was good as we got served quickly and staff were friendly and attentive,toilet were good except no toilet paper in there...The food was nice,lived my waffle and prawns,hubbie loved his mixed platter..Kidd's loved their sticky toffe pudding with Ice cream. To finish up had paan£2 for one. Really good value and service was good..my friend had visited a week before but she had different experience the tables were dirty,it was busy and floor had been dirty and toilet were in a disgusting state she said... possibly when She went it was raining so customer trampled the place or just got bad service that day.Only found out later she had went to the same place after I got back and almost like we visited a different place to what she experienced.

Lovely presentation,yummy food full of flavours we tried peri peri half chicken platter, emirates milkshakes,bbq wings,mango lassi and burger everything was delicious definitely worth going.

We came here for a quick bite to eat, after looking at the previous reviews we thought we should try the lamb chops. They were absolutely fantastic! We had samosa chaat too! Really shouldn’t be overlooked if your in the area. We will be having a return visit next time I am in the area for sure!

Visited Jilani's on a week night after a last visit which took place many years ago. The venue is modern, with bright lighting and lovely, relaxed atmosphere. We found an available table with no wait times, and the service was prompt, a staff member came to our table and we placed our order. We ordered the following: Trio of Desserts Ferrero Lux (Ferrero Rocher chocolate cake, Ferrero Rocher mousse, Ferrero Rocher ice cream), Trio of Desserts Sweet Strawberry (Strawberry ice cream, Strawberry cheesecake, Strawberry Eton mess), and 1x Wimbledon crepe (strawberries and cream). For drinks, we ordered a pot for 4 of Mint Tea, and 1x Latte. The crepe portion was large, extremely generous, can easily be shared by 2 people. Also, the presentation of all deserts was beautiful. I shared my Trio of Desserts with my husband, the flavours of the Ferrero Rocher were rich and intense. The mousse was room temperature, same as the cake but they were all nice. For the price of £7.99 (as at November 2023), I found this to be very reasonable. The pot of tea was large and it filled 4x latte glasses. Overall, the ambience was nice and I would come here again. Thank you!

As always, very nice food and great customer service. I like this place because the menu is simple which makes it easy to choose from and the food is presented well. Great value for money too.

A 10/10 experience on the famous Wilmslow Road. I was taken aback at the quality of the offerings especially the lamb chops. These were actual lamb and not mutton as many other places serve. Service was friendly and very attentive. I can't recommend Jilanis enough!

Really good prices and great variety for dessert and savoury food. I ordered lamb chops and peri prawn platter. The lamb chops r defo good value for money, very tender and tasty. However the peri peri prawns aren't very good, it's supposed to be saucy but mine were just oily and it was more of a thick onion paste on top of 7 small prawns. I had to remove the oil.

I visited Jilani's this weekend for the first time. The restaurant is located on Wilmslow Road, I believe- affectionately know as Curry mile. The atmosphere of the road itself was fantastic. You could have been on holiday, with all the hustle and bustle and the bright lights etc. Lovely experience. There were 4 of us in our group and apon entering, we were greeted very warmly by who I understand is one of the owners. We managed to be seated straight away but had we arrived 10 minutes later we would have had to join a queue. Food - not bad. My lamb kebab was very tasty. I opted for the rice rather than chips and it was OK too. My daughter had the minted lamb, which again was very tasty. My son had the peri peri chicken which he found rather dry (and no comparison to Nandos), hence he didn't even make a dent in his food but he liked the chips. His friend had the chicken and cheese burger which looked yummy. I was told that it tasted really good. Drinks - milkshake with oreos and Ferrero - excellent! Mango and strawberry drink - would! This was so, so good. Excellent! Apple juice- very nice and refreshing. We didn't have dessert which is the real reason why we went there in the first place, as we were too full. Staff - below parr, I'm afraid. One of Our waiters had fresh cream added to the oreo milkshake despite the fact that I specifically said no fresh cream. The waiter challenged me by making out that i hadnt requested that the cream should be left out, which I found rather rude of him. The apple juice didn't arrive until I asked where it was and again, i found the waiter to be just a tad off with our table. The waiter who took our order had no smiles until I said hello in a very friendly manner. All in all, the wait staff need to be trained in customer service and how to keep the customers happy and engage to ensure we have a pleasurable experience. All that said I would go back again. The original greeting by the owner showed me that they do have the capability but staff need to warm to customers more. Value for money - food is very cheap here. Well worth the visit.
