The food was lovely... My only issue was we were a group of 8 and one of my friends food was missed off so we all got ours and he had to wait.. The drinks were slow and one of my friends had to go to the bar to remind them of the drinks.. Afew teething issues today.. We still left tip but felt we should have got a more for our service especially when you just paid £170 for a group order...when I asked for a discount becuase of the service one was not given.

Gluten free and vegan options at no extra cost, you say? Yes please! The pizzas are fully loaded and embrace some weird and wonderful toppings. The 'roots and beets' had a ton of Sunday roast-type veg on top and was amazing if a little bizarre, but sadly the pulled jackfruit and apple pizza was a step too far. This is not one for pizza purists but if you want a pizza that's going to fill you up and show you a good time, this is your pizza.

This place is always great. Always friendly staff, great choice of pizzas and fantastic drinks options - 7 deadly gins are well worth a go. Good place for a date too. A special mention for the way that this venue goes out of its way to accommodate different dietary requirements. Gluten free, veggie, dairy free and vegan options are many and varied. A rare find indeed and a great place to take a party of people with varying dietary needs.

My girlfriend and I had lunch here, she’s coeliac so it was great to see the number of gluten free options available! The staff were knowledgeable and engaging, we had a vegetarian meze platter as a starter and then a pizza each. All the food was great and it’s safe to say we were full by the end of our visit!

The place is really cosy and atmospheric, the modern pizza options are really interesting, I had the pastrami and mustard and it tasted really good! Also tried the jerk chicken which wasn't quite as good but still a decent pizza. The starters were ok.

We wanted a burger at Bluu but for whatever reason the kitchen was closed. Went to this restaurant instead with zero expectations but it was actually quite surprising. The bruschetta was a bit too "British" with tons of garlic, but the red pepper linguine were really good, as well as the Calzone. Cheap bites, okay-ish wine. No fine dining experience but solid food.

July 2019 Good pizza & generous serving size at reasonable price; excellent service staff. I came here on a day visit with a friend of mine who really likes the place, and I can see why she does. The range on the menu is very broad and most likely, regardless of dietary requirements or preferences, everyone will find a dish – they’ve got classic pizza choices as well as “specials”, and vegan cheese and gf bases are available as well. As I am allergic to both, gluten/wheat and dairy I was talking to the waiter about dietary requirements and he was very knowledgeable in that regard. I didn’t have to get much changed, I only requested to not use too much of the vegan cheese-alternative, as I am not a massive fan of it. As I anyway chose a pizza with plenty of other toppings it also wouldn’t be missed in regard of juiciness. I was pleasantly surprised when our dishes arrived, as I got a pizza-cutter along with the regular cutlery. I like those little extras as they take “having pizza” to a higher level. The pizza dough was nice and crisp on the outside, easy to cut, with the fork as well as pizza cutter yet in the middle it was quite soft. If one is a “pizza with hands” eater one might find it a bit difficult to handle. The portion was of a very generous size and the plate was almost too small (note: if you’re a light eater and you come on a weekday, get the lunch time offer: half pizza, half salad, it will definitely suffice!!). When I am eating out I try to opt for dishes I would not prepare myself so I had a jackfruit & apple slaw pizza (although in general I am not a fan of fruit/sweet topping on my pizza or main dish; except for when it is a topping to balance out some spicy or otherwise intense flavour). And, although I appreciate the generosity, the apple slaw was a too much. Also, the pizza-sauce was very sweet as well, almost like ketchup rather than a tomato passata, which I pointed out to the waiter as well. The sweetness of both accumulated and by the time I finished the pizza, it more felt like eating dessert than a main. The BBQ jackfruit seasoning was okey, to my taste it could’ve been spicier. Overall this dish makes an interesting alternative to classic pizza choices and if one likes to try “uncommon” choices I’d warmly recommend it! The side salad (fennel & cucumber) was spot on: perfect seasoning, fresh ingredients and, again, a sufficient portion size to share. Some remarks besides the food: the dining room is spacious and sun lit, plenty of seating is available (ideal when you’re in a group or eating out with family), choice & volume of music allow to have conversations and it’s a very welcoming atmosphere as waiters are friendly and attentive and one is not rushed to finish the meal. The restrooms are clean, however would need some maintenance as the blow driers did not work properly. Also, when we got the bill, the side salad was not correctly charged which the waiter took care of after pointing it out. Finally, I’d like to make a special remark to the waiter of that day. When it comes to food I can be very finicky and the waiter handled all my feedback really professionally, as he took it seriously but with humour. To sum it up: range of choices is very good (accommodating all kinds of preferences/dietary requirements), portion size is very generous, quality of pizza and toppings is good-okey and it is definitely reasonably priced. Great place to come in small or bigger groups and have a relaxed lunch or dinner.

The staff were great and the ambiance is relaxed. Unfortunately the pizza was just okay. It’s made in a conventional oven as opposed to a brick or stone oven. The base was very thin and crumbly on the edge which is not to my liking but may be what other people crave. There are better pizza joints in Manchester.

Delicious pizzas, albeit a bit pricey. good for an occasional treat. * * * * Chicken & Avocado * * * * Beets & Roots - surprisingly filling, generous greens, could have had more beet flavour

👍👍 I was craving curry during my stay in Manchester. And Google suggested this place to me. It's in the centre, almost 6 minutes away from my hotel. The interior design is very hip and it has a great vibe. The music that is being played is modern. The curry was amazing. And the prices were perfect for...
