The worst service I've ever experienced in my whole life, the waitresses were all very rude and arrogant. You literally need to shout“excuse me“at them before they will answer you. Strongly recommend for everyone not to come

Great food but non attentive servers. I've been here 4 times including once for my birthday. The food is amazing! I highly recommend the lunch menu. BUT the servers and I mean all of the servers every time I've been are sat on a table reading, on their phone or drinking tea. One woman looked mad that I interrupted her to ask for sauce I had already asked for 10 minutes prior. 3 times I've waited more than 15 minutes in an almost empty restaurant for the bill. I can see they aren't doing anything. I wont come anymore if this continues

We ordered the BBQ tasting set which came with huge portions. There were 2-3 vegetable dishes and the seafood pancakes as starters. We were already half full by the time we finished these! The meat was amazing and flavourful. The service was great too, the staff who attended our table was very efficient. We'll definitely visit again.

Food here is relatively nice. Better than some other korean restaurants in Manchester. On par with Ban Di Bul (but I believe they have the same owner). The service is a little slow but besides that, the foods nice. Hot water will cost you which is not normal in UK. In terms of authenticity... some dishes I believe taste quite authentic but some are a bit lacking. The fries chicken starter was nice, meat was juicy but wasnt very "korean".

Not good. We won't be going there again. The service was slow, the staff did not seem to know the menu and were relying on the number corresponding to each dish, the toilets were dirty, the portions were small and we were charged nearly £3 for eight lettuce leaves. Absolutely shocking. So disappointed. My advice - if you want real Korean food in Manchester (or anywhere else) - go to a genuine Korean restaurant, not a pretender. It just won't be the same.

This is not Korean food. Well, kimbab and rabokki were the only authentic one. Crazily overpriced.. pancakes are not called pajeon or kimchijeon when u put 99% flour without ingredients like vegetables inside. Not coming here again. Dont expect it to be authentic but at least, shouldnt overprice it when you are not even willing to put the minimum ingredients in the food you make to sell. I wonder if anyone can make food for themselves without any effort like this. Such an unpleasant experience.

Authentic and delicious modern Korean food! 🍲 Been there twice, and there are a few dishes that need a bit of improvement (❌ fried braised pork and cheese kimchi rice cake), but others really hit the sweet spots (⭕ soup, handcrafted white noodles, stone bowl rice and pancakes etc) so it's definitely worth a try!! 😊👍 I would like to thank May for her attentive and polite service this late afternoon 🙏💕

Miscommunication with the order, took a bite of the Pork Bibimbap (which they said is Spicy Pork) and because we ate it already, they wouldn’t change it without charging us, because the menu says Spicy Pork, but actually this is a lie, as it only says Pork, same for the other meats. The Beef Bibimbap was okay, the fried chicken was terrible. To be fair, we went back and disputed this and asked them to show us on the menu where it says spicy pork, and they couldn’t so they gave us money back for this. However, if they didn’t lie in the first place we would have at least enjoyed our meal.

Delicious food, nice interior and friendly staff. The bulgalbi was perfectly marinated! No music for some reason.

Always a delicious outing at Annyeong. Highly recommend the BBQ as a great social way to eat and wish we had more like this in my hometown of Telford. Service is very good and attentive.

Our experience at the restaurant was outstanding! We ordered the army stew along with several other sides, and everything was not only delicious but also served piping hot and fresh. The quick service and attentive staff added to the overall enjoyment of our meal. It was a delightful dining experience, and we left completely satisfied with both the food and service.

I went yesterday with my group of friends had an exceptional dining experience at this restaurant, and I can't say enough about both the delicious food and the outstanding service provided by the staff. From the moment I walked in, I felt warmly welcomed. The menu offers a diverse range of delectable dishes, and every bite was a burst of flavor. The presentation was impeccable, and the quality of the ingredients truly shone through. What truly set this place apart, though, was the attentive and friendly staff. They were not only knowledgeable about the menu but also went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was memorable. They were quick to accommodate any special requests and made us feel like valued guests. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a fantastic meal accompanied by top-notch service. I'll definitely be returning soon!

Order Kichi jigae and my boyfriend got bugolgi jigae. I was expecting a normal size bowl, the rice size i expected, also we had fried spicy chicken to share. Honestly the sizes for the price are disgusting! £11.50 for the sampler size of soup?! Absolutely ridiculous. The restaurant was cold, servers never around, and also the girls toilet was out of service so it was awkward using male toilets and not clean. Never going again, and would not recommend

Annyeong is a great place for more formal gathering but also enjoying the comforts of privacy with a varied choice of seating. The menus are in English, Korean and Chinese with an addition of photographs of the more popular choices. It's easy to order with the staff and the food is freshly prepared. We have ordered the fried chicken balls in sesame sauce, kimbab, a set of kimchi: cabbage, radish and cucumber, as well as seafood ramen and a beef steamed bun. The food was amazing, though the chicken had a little too much batter around but otherwise everything was delicious. We weren't able to finish everything but you can ask for a box to take the leftovers with you. The amount of food for the value is fair, for all the meal we paid £30 per person, including the drinks.

It’s a good place to go if you like Korean food! We were a group of 18 people. It was easy to book for so many people. There was a karaoke room downstairs we tried to sing. The food was amazing, really enjoyed it. The staff was friendly. It’s very close to Arndale center in Manchester and easy to find. The only thing I didn’t like was the smell downstairs on the karaoke room. I will go again and will prefer to sit upstairs!

Even though it was quite quiet the service was poor. Waited 20 minutes for the servers to take our order and then had to ask for additional cutlery from 3 different people as only 2 places were set for a reservation of 4. Once the food arrived the bbq kept turning off. They eventually just cooked it in the kitchen and didn't offer any compensation. They even added a 10% service charge to the bill. Ridiculous service and overpriced for the quality of food.

Some of the best Korean BBQ I've had outside of London. I will be returning next time I'm in Manchester. Booked a table for two same day, but they did have to turn a few people away whilst we were there, so booking for larger groups in advance is likely a good idea.

Good Korean food. The tomato pancake and the pickled cabbage pancake is amazing One start off because 10% hidden service charge. The order is a bit slow as well. Overall, if you want good meal and have lots of time and money, good place to try.

The food from BBQ set is generally good. The only problem is the fried chicken... We found that the fried chicken listed in the menu was missed and the menu should be updated accordingly. Then we ordered another plate of fried chicken and it was quite disappointing. I wonder why Korean fried chicken are not crispy outside? It cost £135 for three adults, which I think it is not really worth for money.

Tasty food and quite authentic, service was ok although some staff wasn’t attentive. Venue was good too as there was an extractor fan on every table and a projector playing Korean music. Sadly they didn’t have any alcohol to order at that time due to some licensing issue. Overall good experience.

Accidental find but ended up having a great dinner. The small dishes tasted great, soup was amazing and overall experience was really good. Only downside was that the waiter serving us messed up our order and we didn't get to do the bbq ourselves which was a shame.

Love love love the food, a little expensive but it’s definitely worth it. service could be better especially when they take service charge

The fried chicken was like a chicken ball, a bit weird. But the rest of the food were alright, jjamppong was good.

The food was okay but no beer or dessert was a let down. Also one of the waitresses did not smile once and wore a cardigan that when she bent down to turn on the bbq, it would touch our food, this happened more than once.

Ordered the jajangmyeon and fried chicken. The noodles was a bit too soft and the chicken was just mediocre. Had to wave down the waiter quite a few times.

Had the worst service ever at a restaurant. Staff were very poorly trained for service. Takes ages for them to realise need to take our order (happened to the table next to us too, they ended up leaving). Asked for the bill several times and was ignored, the staff stood there daydreaming after we told them we want the bill. All the staff looked so grumpy and had no manners, we asked for forks and the guy giving us the forks thrown it to my plate instead of putting it down on the table. It felt really uncomfortable when we were dining in as the server stood looking at you for no reason. We DO NOT RECOMMEND this place whatsoever. Staffs are very unprofessional! Don’t understand why they are employed.

The good value bento box is only available Monday-Friday. Try the bento box or the Korean BBQ. We tried to order other dishes on the menu this time and were less impressed. They were not good value for what you get. Do not order the ginseng chicken soup, it was unfortunately overpriced and not as good as it should be. This is a great place to have Korean-style BBQ, so just do that and you can't go wrong.

I was really craving some good Korean stew but haven't found any decent place. Decided to give this place a try as it was recommended by a friend but unfortunately, it wasn't that great. I got the soft tofu soup with pork. The broth was really salty and the portion was small. I wasn't able to enjoy the meal and was looking for some side dishes as well but those are extra.

The staff is a little all over the place. The food actually is alright but the taste is not entirely authentic. Thinking they might use the same broth for every soup and just switch up the ingredients. It tasted good but I missed the authentic taste that I know from living in Korea.

👍👍 I was craving curry during my stay in Manchester. And Google suggested this place to me. It's in the centre, almost 6 minutes away from my hotel. The interior design is very hip and it has a great vibe. The music that is being played is modern. The curry was amazing. And the prices were perfect for...
