Having
decided
upon
a
trip
tp
Manchester
to
celebrate
my
boyfriend's
birthday
we
caught
the
bus,
and
after
a
driink
in
Yates'
called
in
here
and
found
the
prices
to
be
very
good.
We
went
on
to
another
bar,
then
for
a
meal
in
China
town.
We
decided
to
call
back
to
Jenny's
for
one
last
drink
before
catching
the
early
evening
bus
back
home.
As
we
were
about
to
enter,
the
lone
doorman,
can
of
Red
Bull
in
one
hand,
mobile
phone
in
the
other,
looked
up
turned
to
me
and
growled
"how
much
has
he
had
to
drink?"
we
both
laughed
and
asked
him
to
repeat
the
question.
Gobsmacked
doesn't
even
begin
to
describe
the
feeling.
When
I
told
him
"three
pints"
he
simply
said
"looks
like
he's
had
more"
and
went
back
to
his
mobile
phone.
The
meathead
wasn't
even
doing
the
job
he
was
being
paid
to
do,
he
wasn't
watching
the
street
to
see
people
as
they
approached
the
bar,
seeing
if
they
were
loud,
staggering
or
being
a
nuisance,
no
he
took
one
look
at
my
partner,
who
was
sober,
in
control,
and
just
happens
to
have
tattoos
and
a
shaved
head
and
made
a
snap
decision
to
refuse
entry
so
he
could
appear
to
be
doing
his
job
and
get
back
to
texting.
Well
anyone
who
is
reading
this
be
warned,
if
your
face
doesn't
fit
you'll
be
made
to
feel
cheap
and
turned
away,
my
advice
to
you
and
I
will
be
telling
my
friends
is
avoid
this
bar,
you
don't
need
to
come
here..
there
are
plenty
more
welcoming
pubs
and
bars
in
Manchester!!
