It’s a good Turkish restaurant which serves delicious meat. They don’t have much variety despite making a few changes to their menu recently. However, all the items I have tried so far on their menu taste really good. They have outdoor seating area too. For some items, they’ll put up a proper show before serving it to you. If you want to get a fell of Nusr-et restaurant they’ll also do that for you by adding gold to your food and charging extra for it. Overall a good place.

I was around Manchester town and heard of Etçi, so had to pop over for a meal. It was a busy venue, which is usually a good indicator of an establishment for the quality of its food and/or service. I went for the lamb ribs and tomahawk beef steak with some fries and veg, with my cousin. I requested medium well for the lamb ribs - they unfortunately were a little consistent, with certain parts of the meat literally being raw. However, the portion was seasoned well and of good size (given the price). The tomahawk was requested medium well and it was almost on point. It was a beautiful portion with a lovely, crisp contrast between meat on the outside and inside. It was seasoned well and you could tell the quality of the meat was great. The likes of the fries, veg and pomegranate juice were nice. A little warning - if you’re after a bit of a classy or contained atmosphere, you won’t get it here. I thought I was in a club with the amount of partying and dancing in the middle of biting into the steak. Most of the staff were great, being really attentive and hospitable. There is an abundance of space inside, so you can enter with pretty much any sized groups and they’ll cater to needs. If I’m around Manchester and fancy some steak, I’d probably want to explore what else might be available prior to falling back onto Etçi. 6/10.

My overall experience was amazing and the staff were friendly and welcoming. I would’ve left 5 stars but the rib-eye steak wasn’t cooked properly even after our complain. The rest of the food was amazing. Would definitely come again.

I just came across this restaurant on Trip Advisors and honestly it became one of the best steakhouse in Manchester in my list. You don’t need to pay for a thousand to try salt bae as this restaurant has same style of serving with a much more reasonable price. Food quality is good, T-bone steak is fresh and juicy, lamp chop can be better if more ingredients are put on the lamp chop instead of on the onion. King Prawns is delicious with Turkey favour source. Environment is good and comfortable. I have a very enjoyable dinner in here with my wife.

Got seats straight away with out a booking. Service was good and quick and quality of food was good to. Would come again but I’m not too much of a hurry. Only down side is they don’t accept £50 notes . No idea why so had to pay with card. Good atmosphere but feel there a better places for steak and a much better quality. But glad I tried it

When it comes to presentation, this place absolutely nails it. I got myself the Etçi Special Burger, which was £18.99. It was very well presented and tasted great. Service was great and whilst waiting for your food, the chefs put on a little show for some of the dishes which helps lighten the mood. Although the prices are quite dear, for the quality of food that you are receiving, I'm not complaining. Highly recommend.

This place is astounding! We celebrated my son’s birthday here and I’m impressed how the staff teamed up together to make it more extra special and sung happy birthday to my son with of course the heavenly celebration cake that we ordered. The staff were very courteous, friendly and very attentive to our needs. The location was perfect and easy to find a paid parking between 12-5pm. We found the right spot outside the restaurant. The restaurant gets busy at night so I suggest to book your table early. The food was divine especially the meat is cooked to perfection. Fantastic culinary showmanship skills that made our dining experience memorable. We had a nice shisha experience outside the restaurant for an hour after our dinner. I definitely recommend this place. Great service!

Came here on a spur of the moment thing. Really lovely staff. We knew what we wanted, so they took the order straight away. I've not had a T-bone steak in a while, and this was very nice. Pepper corn sauce had a bit more of a kick to it than I can remember, nevertheless still nice. I loved the speed of everything here. Got a table, placed order, food came pretty quick, All done and dusted within an hour. Loved it! Probably one of the best steak places I've visited.

I ordered the ribeye steak with chips and rice. It was cooked to perfection and the chips were freshly made with nice seasoning. I loved the little show from the staff for the baklava dessert, which was entertaining and great customer service. Although I do wish that you had a lunch menu, it’s more of a place for dinner than lunch.

This was our 1st experience on the Famous Etci Mehmet Manchester and I will honestly say its 10/10 full on 5🌟 rated. The food was awesome the staff were amazing our server was Anna and she was humble and great but I will say the 🌟 of the whole evening was Ali🌟 the theatricals that he created whilst making our food and the way my kids laughed them self's absolutely silly was brilliant he was very humble and a credit to the Etci Mehmet team. Lastly I would like to thank the main man the head General Manager he was a very humble and great person made me and my family feel very welcome and it's an experience we shall never forget. InShaAllah I will return agian very soon but its in my opinion THE BEST STEAK HOUSE IVE EVER TRIED AND WOULD RECOMMEND TO ALL TO VISIT AND ENJOY. Most enjoyable meal and show, really the waiters were great in entertaining everyone and the live music was spot on. Food was excellent and customer service was great, we had 2 gentlemen serve us during our meal, both were great and friendly and ensured our meal was spot on. Love the food, place and staff.... I would highly recommended this place to anyone

If there were 10 stars it would be getting all 10! Absolutely loved literally everything about our experience last night for our anniversary We were booked in next door but it felt a bit flat so I popped next door and asked them to squeeze us in and they did, we felt so uplifted and instantly knew it was the right choice! The staff our outstanding and the food is great, they don't do alcohol but its not required the place is alive with happiness! Thank you 😊

Really nice food, the steaks were on point and there is a variety of options. Staff are friendly and entertaining although it does get a bit awkward with their ‘fire acts’. Think they should add music to their birthdays as it would uplift the atmosphere. Really expensive but worth the quality of the food. Where I was sat was a bit of a downfall as it meant we were next to the doors so felt the breeze. Also the tables were weirdly made and made it hard for us to manoeuvre around the table. Ordered the sirloin steak and mozzarella fries which were amazing!

Awesome Turkish restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere. Some of the best flavors I’ve experienced including the grilled seasoned halloumi cheese, the sautéed broccoli, and the lamb chops. Service was attentive and fast, location was a nice easy walk. Really good and highly recommend!

Located in a very good location. Food was amazing. Service was great. Love the ambience there. From the minute we went in till we came out was a great experience. Steak and baklava was our choice of food. And i like most to get to choose our own steak meat. For me price is bit much high but would highly recommend.

We tried Etci Mehmet with a recommendation from some friends! It is a good restaurant with a very good service. 4 starts is for the fire show which made me feel a bit uncomfortable while eating! The Turkish baklava with ice cream is my favorite!

The food was good and bad. Not having professional staff to take orders. She recommended the biggest steak to my cousins which was the most expensive one in my absence but there were no salad or fries served with our order. The staff were mostly partying for New Years Eve than serving customers. Also No Alcohol served!!!! Which was disappointing. Overall it was not great for the price we paid (£65 per person). Of course one of the main highlights is the atmosphere and this was great.

Visited with a group for dinner on a Thursday night. I ordered the fillet mignon which was good. Nothing special, and could have been better with some more flavour options such as garlic butter. Service was good, and there was plenty of entertainment in the form of live cooking/ serving. I would definitely visit again as it was a fun evening to a restaurant with great ambience.

Amazing establishment located in the heart of Manchester. I came here with my brothers and upon entering I already knew I was coming for an experience i’d never forget. The manager Ulvi was kind and generous giving us comfortable seating with excellent lighting. Eden was lovely and took our order. She helped us decide what steaks to eat by taking us to the display explaining the different types of steak. She was always on positive energy before, during and even after taking our orders. I can tell she enjoys doing her job and must definitely be a valuable employee to the restaurant. Chloe was indeed another amazing person here. She helped clean up our table and served us drinks. She also got our table ready for our mains. She has a beautiful smile on her face that definitely lightens up the atmosphere. Also a master of cutting the baklava, them skills are on point!!!

Great place for trying lamb steaks. Starters tasted fresh and lamb was very well cooked. Staff create some shows to present your meals which was great! A great place to visit again Bear in mind you might struggle finding carpark spaces here as it's city centre. So make sure you plan in advance for the parking if you're driving

Starting off with the food. As you can see from the videos we predominantly got steaks which were incredibly juicy and tasty definitely one of the best halal steak places around. For the starters we had hummus and bread along with the cold starter platter which consisted of other sauces all of which were really tasty yet not too filling preparing us for the mains. The waiters and staff were really nice and helpful and even navigated us towards the prayer room which was really nice and quiet away from the noise and music. Speaking of the music it was a little loud at times and was overpowering general conversation we were trying to have. Overall however, it was a really good experience and i will definitely come back.

PURE VIBES!!! Ali is an absolute LEGEND! Extremely respectful and he went above and beyond for us, made sure we were served everything fast and efficiently, we were a big group and all of our food was on point! Fabulous service as always, Zahra was such a sweetheart, helping us take pictures and turning the lights on so they come out clearer! Feeding us all the Baklava making sure no one felt left out. The manager made sure we were all looked after, I can't praise them enough!

Incredible vibe with friendly servers! We had Fifi who went over and above to make our meal super enjoyable and comfortable. Food was amazing and we will be definitely be coming again!

The place was nice, great service. Great shows. The food was great. I order dry age steak with capriccio . The waitress, Fie, is very nice with a nice advice. Even though, I was there alone, it was still a great experience. Totally recommended.

We always have a wonderful time eating here. The atmosphere is always fun and friendly. The music is loud, but adds to the dancing and fire shows. The service is excellent. Probably my favourite restaurant in Manchester.

Can't fault this place, good music in the background, atmosphere was great watching the chefs with their fire tricks etc and then to top it off, My Mixed Grill was bog enough for 2 people and cooked to perfection. Definitely be going back

Very please with our meal despite the restaurant giving our table away. We were 15 minute late and they understandably gave it to someone else. They did their best to accommodate us fast. They couldn’t have been more hospitable or apologetic. So be warned it’s a busy place! The atmosphere is great. Lots of family’s and groups of friends. It’s not too loud so you can talk. We weighted for almost an hour after we ordered for food. Not sure why but it was not a big deal as we were talking. Obviously no alcohol served. Can’t fault the food for the price. It’s really really good. Waiters came to our table all the time so we were well looked after. Can’t fault the service. Also a great atmosphere! All in all a great night out.

One of the best spots in Manchester, food is outstanding , plenty of food choices, starters taste just perfect , the beef grilling atmosphere makes the time you spend inside the restaurant extra enjoyable, the staff are super polite and would make whatever it take so you enjoy the time you are spending inside the restaurant , the only down bit the reservation process it’s kinda tricky as While trying to reserve the table for my family and a friends family I got 2 phone calls from the restaurant , one telling the booking for 2 families is confirmed and the other phone call telling me it’s not , ended up going only with my family as I didn’t want our friends to come and don’t find a place

One of the best steak places I’ve ever been to, this place has such good vibes with very good staff… the keep you entertained with their dance and fire shows… the only drawback is that they have open kitchen for steaks which are kept right there and the place smells of meat for sometime after you enter in! But eventually get used to it

How delightful was our visit to this restaurant!! Everything was just perfect. The atmosphere is very nice, superb decor and sitting places. Very very clean which is always a point to be noted The food was really beyond delocious, perfectly cooked merts, yummy starters and a not to miss Baklawa..also generous portions. Most of all, the staff were very attentive, professional and very friendly, and a big special thank you to DAli, it was a pleasure to meet you. We really thank them for a great time. Can't wait to come again

fine dining restaurant in Manchester food was overall good. We ordered hummus, steak 1kg plater, some beef burgers, and dessert plater. Steak and burgers were good. Hummus was ok, and dessert was below average. Mr Ali helped us to understand the menu.

What a fantastic environment. Lovely fresh food made in front of you. Very good customer service, second time at this place can not fault anything. Definitely worth the price!

Disappointed when taking into account the entirety of the evening. We had a reservation for 8pm for two and we only just got sat down at 9pm so 1 hour late! The staff couldn't even say how long it'd be before we got sat down. The service after this point was great however The food was good and bad. Prawns were amazing but definitely not spicy as described. The ribeye steak was cooked exactly how we wanted it (medium-well) but despite saying exactly the same thing for the new York steak, it was more medium rare and had to go back as it was dripping in blood so clearly hadn't been rested! The Turkish baklava was good though. Of course one of the main highlights is the atmosphere and this was great as expected. Overall it was a disappointment for the price we paid (£50 per person). If you wasn't to spend that on steak, better options are rump n ribs or ribeye!
