Fantastic afternoon from the moment you walk in until we left, welcomed by a busy waitress, even though she was running everywhere she found time to give us a warm welcome and then she managed to find a table for us with a space for the pram, the pizza is different than what we usually have, very tasty and big size, the calamari were the best I've had so far. We were meant to go have lunch somewhere else that day but we just stopped for a pizza, we definitely didn't regret it, if u r a pizza fan, make sure to try this different pizza for a change, a big thanks to our waitress who was working very hard with a smile on her face, definitely be back soon

One of the nicer Pizza Express restaurants. You forget it's a chain in here. Staff are very friendly and attentive. Restaurant was very clean. Food was perfect and very enjoyable. Look forward to returning

Great experience here for my daughter’s Birthday, very friendly welcome for all ages from the little ones to my parents. Very impressed how smoothly everything & quickly everything ran considering how busy it was. The team were the most welcoming I’ve experienced in any restaurant

The food was fantastic as was the service. I used my clubcard points and converted them at the end of the meal as the staff were happy to wait. We had a lovely time, myself and my daughter. It lovely to have a proper catch up with no phones. The restaurant was spotless, the staff polite and well trained. The volume of the music was just right.

It was amazing experience. We tried Italian pizza, with thin and crispy base, delicious and tasty. Polite and helpful waitress, perfect customer service in a calm atmosphere, are the main reasons that persuade us to come back there again. Finally we had espresso which was perfect and much better than most of brands café in Manchester.

Best Pizza Express in Manchester, if not the whole of North West England. Amazing staff, lovely classy venue, and the food just tastes better than other Pizza Express restaurants! Paneer Tikka pizza and BBQ Burnt Ends pizza are the best things on the menu. We gladly drive an hour to get there cos it's so good. Many thanks!

I was out with my sister and friend on Saturday and we were all feeling hungry so we went in to Pizza Express on King Street in Manchester. We hadn't booked a table but fortunately it wasn't an issue. The Waiters were all very nice and we didn't wait long for our Pizzas. All of us had the Padana and we shared some Dough Balls. We all enjoyed our food and would definitely go back. My sister and I have the Pizza Express App so we also got 50% off each which we split with our friend and that was a lovely bonus.

Visited twice for lunch this week on Monday and Thursday. Today (Thursday) really busy and great atmosphere. Very importantly staff always look after single diners and don't give them a rubbish small table at the back of the restaurant away from everyone else.

One of the best restaurant experiences we've had. The staff were so friendly, we came in out the rain on a Saturday with our 8month old in the pram late afternoon and was seated straight away in a perfect spot, offered a high chair and was very well looked after during our time. Highly recommend and a special thanks to our waitress 😊

Just got home after a fantastic meal at Pizza Express. We arrived... place was full, Paul, front of house, apologised and asked whether we would return after a phone call from him. Perfect, a pint round the corner and a call from Paul got us in. We arrived, placed close to kitchen and met the wonderful Matt. Very attentive, friendly and made our evening. Both Paul and Matt both went out of their way to look after us, we have had issues with registering with PE app.. Paul is kindly looking into this. Would highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely return. Thank you so much guys, much appreciated and look forward to seeing you again.

Peter is absolutely brilliant and made our lunch excellent! He is so friendly and really helpful with the food and my allergies! I love Pizza Express but he made it a really lovely lunch and looked after us very well! Gluten free pizza was delicious which is hard to find in restaurants!

Amazing service and incredible food everytime I go! Went here for my birthday with family and I think our servers name was Jo (from the name on the receipt) and Jo was fabulous and so helpful! Nothing was too much hassle! Food was incredible and we felt so taken care of the whole time we were there. My Mum brought a cake for me that had different coloured candles on and when we asked for a slice to be boxed up for my partner to take for his little girl, Jo asked what size slice and what coloured candle to leave on the slice for her and this little touch was so lovely! She was amazing and so caring, and the food was delicious! Had an absolutely amazing time today, thank you so much!

I ordered on Deliveroo, the pizzas came cold, greasy, poor quality and dough was chewy. Halloumi bite absolute shambles, three dips for £1.50 just look at the quantity 🤐

Quite a special Atmosphere set in an old bank style building. Food was to the normal Pizza Express standard with nice Gluten Free options avalible. The service of the food was quick but the service of the waiters was slightly odd with some being so busy rushing to tons of tables or seen to be talking to other staff when customers were waiting there bill

Was there with my friend while staying in Manchester for the weekend. Food was so good and the service was so quick . Our server was so friendly and made us feel very welcome ( Don't know his name but the photo attached may help to recognise him serving us). We live in Ireland so all I can say is that next time we go to Manchester, we will be back!!

Had a wonderful pre concert meal here before going to see the Weeknd. The food was possibly the best Pizza Express we'd had! The service was really professional and friendly. I'd like to say a thank you to Peter (or Pizza Pete as we joked about). We had a right laugh. He couldn't do enough for us (and we are quite fussy with swapping toppings etc)! Definitely one to visit! The restaurant was spotlessly clean, air conditioned and in the prime location of King Street. We had a lovely booth and the food was amazing 👏! Massive compliments to the waiting staff and kitchen staff! You made our evening very special and we will definitely be back! Thank you everyone! 😊

Very, very welcoming branch of Pizza Express. Staff had a lovely manner about them with us and our children. This put us at ease and the kids laughed. Service was quick and attentive. Food was great. Wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

Fantastic dinner here last night. The food was amazing as always but the staff were absolutely brilliant. The man who seated us was so bubbly and friendly, and was making jokes which cracked us up. Then the waitress was making lovely, helpful comments when my mum was getting worked up thinking she was greedy for also getting halloumi bites. They really talk to you in a relaxed way and at a personal level, which really makes a wonderful atmosphere. Couldn't fault anything at all. Even if I did choose a salad over a pizza, it was still delicious!

What fantastic staff! They certainly went the extra mile for us today! Brilliant service plus one young lady tried numerous taxi numbers for us but they would all take too long to arrive and we had a train to catch. Lovely Peter went across the road to check the free bus service and flagged one down as it arrived! Perfect timing and we caught our train. These lovely, lovely people deserve a bonus and a massive thank you all their help. Food gorgeous- definitely recommend!

HALF ARSED MISREPRESENTATION OF PIZZA AND OUT OF DATE DRINK. What on earth have you sent me?! Ordered a classic margarita via Deliveroo and looked nothing like the image on the menu. I also ordered the same pizza at a Pizza Express in London dining in last week and it was nothing like the mess that was delivered today. The drink sent was also over 2 months out of date.

My daughter, 5 year old grandson and I had lunch at Pizza Express in King Street. The food and service were excellent. We were particularly pleased with the welcome given to my grandson, he was made to feel very special. Fantastic service from Peter.

We ate lunch here today and if I could give six stars or more I would! The lovely Jesùs was so attentive and welcoming -what an asset! The food was delicious and we didn’t wait long at all. My granddaughter was too full to eat the dessert included in the children’s meal but it was packaged up for her to take away. A totally enjoyable experience and I’d recommend this restaurant without any hesitation. Fabulous!

Very busy place! That speaks volumes. Their strength is their staff. Wonderful service! Pizza was pretty solid, added Tabasco as I like most "spicy" food spicier 🌶️. Both the manager and my server Niamh were excellent!

Excellent service. Compliment to their staff Jesús. He asked every details in a cheerful way. We asked for chilli oil and he brought us chilli oil and Tabasco. Very thoughtful indeed. The food is great too!
