If you're in Manchester, this is a fantastic spot to check out. The food is delectable and the service is lightning-fast. The curries are particularly noteworthy for their distinctive flavor, and the staff are friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend it.

Now I don’t often give Indian restaurants a good review but this place simply deserves it . Freshly prepared by the excellent chef Manish who watches your face as you eat as he actually cares that you enjoy his food. First the mix starters excellent bajji and Malay tikka then the mains mouthwatering succulent lamb and plentiful chicken the tastes are amazing . Will be back bravo Manish

Went there expecting good Indian hospitality and food. The menu looked very attractive with the promise of the owner being from Mumbai. Bad service, short staffed, argumentative host, chipped water pitcher. Not a nice experience. We didn't order beyond starters, had gone to celebrate my daughters college enrollment, came out feeling quite upset. Hope management looks into this.

Incredible food in a small but nicely decorated restaurant. Service was quick to start but I could tell the two waiters running the whole restaurant were struggling to keep up, not their fault. I'd definitely visit again and it was refreshing to finally get a curry where if you ask for it to be hot and spicy it actually is (Madras) We were in and out with two of us in 45 minutes, you can see the kitchen from the restaurant also, it's nice to watch your food be prepared. Cocktails on offer are great also. Poppadoms, two mains, two sides, rice and naan with a cocktail each between 2 came to £67 Inc the 10% service charge. Very reasonable. Only regret is not taking photos of the food!

The menu looked really promising, however, the food itself tasted more like it was homemade and made in a bulk in a rush rather restaurant quality. I’d avoid the starters next time and just dig into the main whenever I feel homesick. Not somewhere I’d go with friends for a dining experience

Delicious Indian food with nice ambience. Friendly staff ..great chef ..yummy food ..One of the best indian food experiences I've had. Must visit place in city centre Manchester. Atmosphere and interior is amazing. Service is good and the wait for food isn't long. Only came here for a quick lunch with little appetite, but it was definitely worth it! Food was nice and dishes are authentic. If you come to plan here make it a big evening meal/late lunch. Highly recommend and will be visiting again with an empty stomach! By far one of the best Indian Restaurant Chain's in the UK!

Very, very highly spiced food, ordered a chicken curry n it was hotter than the surface of the sun, powder hot, no sight of a fresh chilli, cardamon pops or cloves. Left it

A boutique restaurant with many new dishes I had not experienced before, traditional and new Indian flavours from the old school & new, freshly prepared by the owner chef, beautifully combining vegetable dishes with aubergine and potato in a delicious sauce, tender lamb, spice prawns and chicken full of flavour pan fried to perfection. Service was attentive too. We'll be back I'm sure, throughly recommend a visit.

We had our celebratory wedding meal here last summer and could not thank Manish and the team enough for there fantastic hospitality and flexibility. They were kind enough to open the restaurant just for us and our guests for the afternoon. We had thalis and Manish was happy to tailor the menu to meet all our guests dietary requirements. Everyone loved the food which was cooked fresh, was authentic and was full of flavour. The staff were really friendly and couldn't do enough to help, they even let us do speeches and perform a song and joined in with the celebrations. Thank you Manish and your team for helping to make our wedding day so special.

Customer Service had always been the number 1 for me and these guys were very attentive, polite and always available when we needed something. Food was amazing! The Lamp chops as the starters were by far the best I've had. The king prawns was full of flavour and had the right amount of spice. The main Chicken Jalfrezi was absolute perfection. The dish was bursting with flavour, various different herbs and spices. It was an absolute delight. The garlic naan and the tandoori roti complimented this flavoursome dish very well. Definitely will visit again.

We ordered Paneer Tikka for starters which was bit disappointing as it was very hard and they didn't even provided any chutney like mint chutney etc which should be served anyway as the dish ks not that cheap. We also ordered Paneer curry and Lacha which was above than average but not in line ase per the expectations and the ratings.

One of the most wonderful and delicious Indian restaurants in Manchester. It's a little bit small and has limited number of tables. However, the team are so friendly and kind, even the chief came to us asking about the food and he played my lettle child!!

We came here by chance as we had reservations elsewhere but the fire alarm was going off for 30mins and we were starving. We did have to wait outside for 10minutes and then also move tables when a bigger group came in as it was a busy Saturday night but honestly we didn't mind as they seated us last minute. We are SO glad we came here instead - the food was out of this world, the chef was so welcoming and helpful, we are both vegans and they have a dedicated vegan/veggie menu and honestly it was some of the best food I've ever eaten. He even took our orders personally because the wait staff were so busy, so we never waited too long for a drink or our food. The Vegan Chicken Pepper Fried starter is made with the chef's own Seitan and I can't recommend enough - if you like good food, great Indian food, amazing vegan food or just the best onion Bhajis you've ever had, hit this place up. The ONLY criticism is that it took 15/20 minutes to pay because they were so busy, but that's such a small thing it was barely worth mentioning.

Time: Saturday pm. Order:samosa chaat / chicken wah ji wah / dum ki biryani with Prawn. Service and armosphere are excellent. The dishes are delicious. Samosa slightly hot and biryani needs more cooking as the rice was not done yet. Though the prawns were fresh. Next time, I might order the murg tikka masala because the garcon recommended it.

Very lovely food, incredibly tasty, staff friendly and service very quick. Every dish was so tasty. Prices very affordable for the immense quality. Had a lovely time and will be back!

This place is small and knit. Friendly staff Clean One toilet which was used for all customers (I feel like someone in a wheelchair would struggle to manoeuvre around the restaurant/toilets) The starters which I had ordered were Punjabi Samosa Channa Chaat and Lasooni Murg tikka (they were so tasty couldnt fault them. The pastry from the samosas were crispy and buttery and the chicken was well cooked and melted in my mouth). The mains I had Dum Ki Biryani (Lamb)- this was nice sort of nothing amazing, Sarson Ka Saag - i didnt really enjoy this, seemed a little bitter Paneer Butter Masala (this was a little sweet for my liking) they did have another option Paneer Mirch Masala (I assume this would have had the kick) My overall opinion on the food was okish. I enjoyed the starters more than the mains. Unfortunately I couldn't try the desserts as I was too full.

Service was not that much great though as the wait for food was long. But food was nice and dishes are authentic. One of the best indian food experiences I've had. Thanks

Amazing food, absolutely loved the Indian food. The best naan bread I've ever had. 100% coming again for food whenever in Manchester would totally recommend and the staff were an absolute pleasure too.

I came here on my birthday in January, as a group of 6. The service was appalling!! We were there for almost 3 hours, waiting over an hour in between our starters and mains. They did not provide any cutlery during our mains so we had to eat the using the spoons that were used for serving the curries. Napkins were scarce and my I had to ask several times for water (I am heavily pregnant). No apology provided by the restaurant and instead made us feel like we were being difficult for expecting basic manners and service at a restaurant. I also noticed that the JustEat and Deliveroo drivers had priority service over their in house customers. Very disappointed. The only positive remark I would make is that the food was nice however the portions were very small.

Visited here for Saturday night dinner and it was crowded. Even after booking appointment, there was a wait for 15-20 mins and also there was not much space for waiting area. Staff was not able to attend people waiting. Also staff could be more welcoming and attentive. We got a table near kitchen and heard chef telling staff to serve our dishes before those get cold. So dishes were ready but they was delay in serving. Food quality was good and enough options for both veg and non-veg. Quantity wise starters were in lesser quantity like you get 3 pieces in Paneer Tikka and 2 pieces in Kabab. So order accordingly. Mango lassi was also good but Lemonade was bottle but I was expecting fresh one.

Wow! The flavors were delicious and balanced. The portions were generous. In the Netherlands I have not come across such a good Indian restaurant. This is the kind of restaurant and food that completes your memory of a city. Thank you!

We found this restaurant by chance but what a find- this really was the best tasting Indian food I have ever had! All made freshly and the fusion of tastes were amazing - the staff are friendly and attentive I would certainly recommend you try it too (only hope it not to busy to fit me in next time !!??)

A first time visit after cancelling due to Covid. Expectations were high, and were matched by the service and food. Menu not overcrowded with too many dishes. The mixed starter platter was excellent, I then had a delicious Gosht Banjari with a shared coconut rice and a Keema Nan, mates wife had a Goan Fish curry. Not one item was out if kilter, and portion sizes were more than adequate. 1 minor moan, the hit dinner plates were served too early, leaving them a little cool, but no matter. Overall, a brilliant restaurant, and a definite place to revisit.

We came here for a special birthday after hearing good reviews. However, the experience was very appalling; the food was uncooked and when the concern was raised, there was no acknowledgment. The owner/ chef was rude and said that the food is usually made to be “undercooked” and we should have asked for it to be made well done. We had also ordered the snapper, which was also undercooked. When our bill arrived, they still proceeded to charge us for the undercooked food and added the service charge. Even overall, the food came it sightly cold. Won’t be returning and would not recommend.

👍👍 I was craving curry during my stay in Manchester. And Google suggested this place to me. It's in the centre, almost 6 minutes away from my hotel. The interior design is very hip and it has a great vibe. The music that is being played is modern. The curry was amazing. And the prices were perfect for...
