We ordered Garlic prawns, Finest fillet steak (medium) and Seafood paella. I have to say the only 2 stars is for the cozy environment and the seafood paella. Firstly, we spend much time for waiting each dish when there are not many customers. I understand that seafood paella need 40 min to cook, but the prawns and steak should have been cooked quicker. Secondly,we ordered medium cooked steak but we got a well done. We rarely didn't eat it, as the meat was too over cooked to swallow, and I don't think a steak like this was worth £27. We complained that we were not satisfied with the steak, however we only received “sorry for their mistake”.

Had a really good time here after a yoga class. Very efficient on food service, all the tapas come out together. Then it’s the seafood paella. We like the homemade chili sauce for deep fried squid the most. Wish we can buy it in a jar in future.

Really enjoyed my experience at Evuna as every tapas dish tasted so good! The menu was filled with plenty of options, I would definitely recommend the meatballs and the sweet potato fritas. I also liked that the food came out all together and that the tables were big enough to have all the dishes on without having to move things around all the time. The restaurant can get very busy, so would recommend booking beforehand

Had a wonderful experience having lunch at this Spanish restaurant. We ordered its lunch special (£15 for 3 tapas). The portion of each tapa wasn’t large, but each of them was quite tasty. The three tapas we ordered (fried calamari, potato tortillas, and creamy mushrooms) were all well-cooked. We especially liked the sauce of creamy mushrooms, which was rich in flavour. We also ordered seafood mix chicken paella, and it was amazing. Seafood was fresh, rice was soaked with the essence of seafood. The portion of paella was larger than we thought as well. Moreover, the staffs were friendly and the restaurant had nice atmosphere. Recommended:)

I was the first customer for lunch and could occupy the whole restaurant. The set lunch is a good deal which you can choose 3 tapas which are served on a wooden tray. All were yummy especially the fried squid. The portion is generous and I had to skip my dinner that day. The set lunch comes with a special offer of a red/white wine with an extra £3 only. But I ordered a white sangria instead as it matched more with squids and hake. Had a quiet lunch, servied by friendly and helpful staff (they usually serve red sangria but made me a white one on my request).

I recommend this restaurant! 10/10 The food was delicious and the costumer service was excellent! Our waitress was a Spanish guy and he was a sweetheart! Me and my friend made him even more comfortable because he could speak Spanish to us since I'm Portuguese and my friend British/Spanish! Overall was a nice experience and it made me feel homesick since Portugal and Spain have similar food!

Evuna is a Spanish restaurant in Deansgate of Manchester. We ordered their tapas like Tortilla, meatball, deep fried squid, creamy mushroom and main course seafood paella. The service is good and the atmosphere is relaxing. A good dining experience for me.

Dropped in late afternoon, without a booking. We had a great experience, especially as the food was absolutely delicious and drinks reasonable. Would highly recommend 👍

Visited Evuna for a friend's birthday last week and the meal was fantastic! Staff were very friendly and attentive to the table (including helping us snap a birthday group pic). We ordered a range of dishes such as paella, tatas bravas, pork cheap, fillet skewers, padron peppers, calamari, chorizo, garlic prawns and octopus. All were fantastic (the pork cheek being a personal favourite as it was melt in the mouth). We did finish with a little dessert - crema catalana - all of our plates were empty! Really recommend this place if you fancy some Spanish tapas!!

We had tapas and a mixed paella, all are delicious and fairly priced. My favourite is the creamy mushrooms, it's surprisingly good!

5/5 for tapas, octopus tastes really good and tender. Chickens are savoury, too. Seafood paella: mussels are juicy and fresh. 5/5 for service. 4/5 for ambience. 5/5 for such portion of paella for such price. (£37.5 per person will be very very satisfyingly full) Overall reasonable price with great experiences and food.

After trying Evuna in NQ the week before, I decided to treat my partner to try the Evuna at deansgate. Unfortunately I found the food to be a little bit disappointing in comparison. I'm not sure if it's because we got the lunch option but it was a bit lacking. The meatballs weren't very warm and the pan Catalan didn't seem as fresh and rich, it was weirdly creamy. However, the flavours of the food were still good and the service was fab. I think it just didn't quite compare to the NQ location.

Really nice authentic tapas bar. They have a wide variety of dishes and beverages. The food was really nice and well presented. Their staff was decent, but we pre-purchase a bottle of wine for the table and it wasn’t there on arrival. We raised the issue and this took a while to resolve with their staff not being super helpful.

Nice and authentic. The mains are great. Salmon is super fresh. Love their meatballs. Nothing fancy; everything well executed. They do what they are good at.

If you are looking for authentic Spanish food and drink, this is the place to go. We had a couple for starters each, however the real reason why we went was to sample the paella and we wasn't disappointed. Fabulous food and a couple of drinks for a reason nice evening meal out. The atmosphere and staff was brilliant for a relaxing evening out. If you like Spanish food I would suggest you go and visit because you won't be disappointed.

The paella was very delicious. We ordered a mix of seafood and chicken. We were a group of 4, ordered a portion for three was still too much for us as we also few tapas and main as well.

Amazing service...we had 3 lots of tapas so that we could try a little bit of everything. The dishes were so good full of flavour and so filling.Very warm welcome from the staff. Sangria was perfect. I would definitely recommend. Thanks!

By far the best tapas in Manchester. Tapas is our favourite cuisine when eating out and this is the only place I’ve been to where I can not fault a single dish they serve. We’ve had the majority of the menu and it’s all cooked to perfection. The staff are great too, very attentive and welcoming. A well deserved 5* review from a harsh critic. Well done

The best meal I have had in a long time. Thank you so much. Service was great

  • 4/5 Jose Luis S. 1 year ago on Google
The food was delicious. The amount a bit limited, great service and fair price. The picture you see was 15£ 3 tapas each and 4£ each for each wine glass. Service fee wasn’t advised (I wished they had), 4£ fee This picture was a good time for 44£. Maybe not suggested if you are too hungry.

Probably the best Tapas Bar in Manchester. More a restaurant than a bar really; nice Spanish food, chill atmosphere and amazing service. Great value for money!

Excellent lunch. Authentic Spanish food, delicious! Only reason for only 4 out of 5 is that the chicken skewers were slightly less done than I'd have liked - personal preference, no reason to complain. Will be back!

Loved it, the food was ace, the staff were lovely and friendly and the price was very reasonable. 3 of us went and we shared 10 dishes and had a dessert. Highly recommend the chorizo, calamari and the hake! Very tasty stuff and the chocolate cake and ice cream finished it off very nicely! 😋

Overhyped - there is better Spanish tapas in Manchester. Have been twice now and been thoroughly underwhelmed by the food. The service is…fine, the prices are decent, but you get what you pay for here. The decor and environment is lovely - although this isn’t true when you go downstairs to the toilets, which leave a lot to be desired and clearly haven’t seen much recently. In all - I personally would avoid, I have not been particularly impressed on the times I’ve visited.

Very good Spanish food which was a great surprise, we weren’t expecting much when we arrived. Wine a bit pricey but top quality so we treated ourselves to 2 bottles of Albariño! Spanish waiter was very friendly. My only comment would be the Paprika chicken wasn’t authentic but I guess they cater for a larger audience.

👍👍 I was craving curry during my stay in Manchester. And Google suggested this place to me. It's in the centre, almost 6 minutes away from my hotel. The interior design is very hip and it has a great vibe. The music that is being played is modern. The curry was amazing. And the prices were perfect for...
