Thank
you
for
a
lovely
stay,
we
really
enjoyed
our
experience
at
Hotel
Belle
Plage.
Unfortunately,
the
reason
it’s
not
4
or
5
stars,
was
because
there
were
a
few
details
during
our
stay
that
were
at
times
disappointing.
We
actually
only
stayed
at
Hotel
Belle
Plage
for
one
night,
as
the
Martinez
Hotel
was
fully
booked
for
the
last
part
of
our
trip
-
so
I
hope
the
contrast
isn’t
too
jarring
as
they
are
very
different.
But,
it
was
frustrating
to
be
woken
up
at
0600
in
the
morning
as
construction
noises
were
coming
from
outside
our
window…
or
to
have
a
housekeeper
burst
into
our
room
without
knocking
or
warning
in
the
middle
of
the
afternoon.
Also,
the
food
menu
was
extremely
limited
and
they
couldn’t
accommodate
any
requests,
and
room
service
ended
extremely
early/
the
concierge
was
unable
to
help
me
with
basic
requests,
which
at
the
Martinez
would
of
been
possible.
Also,
to
check
out
we
had
to
wait
40
minutes
as
there
was
only
one
receptionist.
This
also
seemed
bizarre
considering
from
what
we
can
tell
the
hotel
is
pretty
empty…
we’ve
hardly
seen
anyone
here,
and
the
receptionist
kept
answering
the
phone
rather
than
dealing
with
clients.
Otherwise
it’s
a
really
fun
boutique
hotel,
with
a
Soho
House
feel
-
but
a
little
bit
of
a
walk
from
the
heart
of
Cannes.
It’s
aesthetic
is
clean
and
minimal.
