After a full days work and on our way back to Kingston and St Andtew a member of our party recommended that we stop to eat at Claudette's. We were not disappointed. The curried goat was delightful and the manish water was just what the doctor ordered for hungry souls. Service was quick and efficient and in these times of rising inflation and high cost of food the prices were more than reasonable. A worrhwhile stop. Highly recommended for authentic Jamaican curried goat and manish water.

There was a small crowd there which lead me to believe that the food is great most days however when I tried the curry goat was just decent and good enough to consume. The Manish water was more of goat meat broth. Expect some wait time and not a quick grab and go. You can dine there and the sharers seem friendly and welcoming. If they work on their consistency of quality then you will enjoy a good meal hear as I’ve heard some good reviews on this place.

While the food is simple, authentic and good, efforts must now be placed on better service. It is now full time that they implement systematic ordering rather than the confusion of having customers stand, wait to give the lone worker who doubles as a money collector and server. This is a major turn-off and must be addressed.

If you want to get curried goat you better be here early, because the lunch rush here is crazy.

Drove from Christiana to the location and was not what I expected at all. A very long wait had absolutely no rice white or rice and peas we were told it’s a 30 minute wait 30 minutes turned into a hour and a half and the rice was so disgusting the curry goat was so disappointing and let’s not talk about the soup that I had to drink while waiting on my food no flavor at all just water I was highly highly disappointed the only thing I can say is that they had a very clean bathroom but coming from a curry goat lover even if the soup and rice was disgusting the goat being good would’ve made up for it but it was terrible as well.

I have been dining at the eatery for many years. Hands down!! This is where you can get the best curried goat 🐐 with white rice or with rice and peas, dumplings, chicken, cooked food, etc in Jamaica 🇯🇲.

Curry goat was well seasoned. Truly top class. Only drawback was my particular food had a lot of tiny bones which made the meal less enjoyable (I can only assume that this was due to a dull enough blade used during the stage of the cooking process where the meat was chopped up small enough for consumption) Otherwise : A1. Will visit again.
