Pagliai's was a very special experience for our group. It was a favorite college hangout for a friend of mine, and she hadn't been back in years and years. We were fortunate enough to get a table right away. We ordered one old-standard and one more adventuresome pie. We also got the garlic cheesy bread. The kids loved the garlic cheesy bread, and we all loved the pizza. The Philly Cheesesteak pizza tasted even better as leftovers than it did in the restaurant!

Great food! Drive 40 minutes one way to eat this as much as possible. Favorite pizza around.

Only been there once for lunch. The lunch special for $7 is a great deal (small one topping pizza). Outside is cute. Inside is functional. Staff was friendly. Was pretty busy. Thin crust. Parking was the hardest part. I am excited to take my family back there.

Ive tried many a slice in town, and nothing has come close to the perfection of this pizza! I can't even decide what part is my favorite.. the cheese that's browned beautifully so the flavors pop? Or maybe the sauce that's not too heavy or too light? It could be the crust that i wish never ended. I've never had a better pizza!

Ordered a pizza for delivery. They never delivered it!! Or called us. We ended up calling them and they were already closed (at 9pm). Said our order was mistakenly put in as a pickup. If we hadn’t called, they would’ve kept our money! So much for supper. Never again.

Love this place, we stop here everytime we come through from South Dakota, everything is great, no shortage of anything! Service is wonderful as well.

On Thursday’s & Sunday’s with a Large pizza, you get a Pitcher of Beer for .25cents - You heard me 👍 right!!! *My hubby usually gets the Sauerkraut, Beef, Green Peppers & Onion pizza and I usually get the Hawaiian Pizza with onions. We end up taking some home and usually eating it for Supper the next night….

Pagliai's was our first stop while visiting my boyfriends college town of Mankato and 16 years later, he says it's the exact same as he had remembered it. we sat at his favorite booth way in the back and ordered a 10" taco and 10" philly steak with a side of cheese garlic bread. when i tell you that the cheese bread had the most magnificent silky thick cheese pull of my lifetime, i mean it! can't go wrong with a lot of cheese and the reminiscent comfort of food from a previous life that hasn't changed a bit. 10/10 stars!

A great atmosphere for a casual, low key pizza and beer. Decent crust, good cheese, sauce needs some options/improvements. Beer good.

Great pizza on Sunday evening. Faster delivery to hotel than expected. The garlic cheesy breadsticks with Canadian bacon was so good. And the works pizza was superb. We will definitely order from here again when we are in the area.

This place claims to be the best pizza in Minnesota... I’m not sure where they get that from. It’s not bad, but it’s not a place I’d go out of my way to get. Also, their “deep dish” is not deep dish pizza, it’s just thicker crust.

Had a Classic 14 inch Pizza it was very good this place is a real time capsel they have not changed much in forty years. They have some good beers on tap also.

Best place in Mankato to get a pizza with thick topppings, and plenty of cheese. If you’re looking for thin crust I can’t comment but regular crust this is it for the price.

If you are planning on eating from here, then don’t. They are rude and unappreciative of their costumers. I went in there today to order a deluxe chicken Alfredo pizza and they ended up giving me a chicken Alfredo pizza (which was very nasty). When I got home and opened the box, I realized that this wasn’t my order so I gave them a call. I told the lady that she gave me the wrong order and she made it seem like I asked for it myself. Even before I ordered, I asked the lady if she had my order and she said yes. I called her to make some type of deal and she said it’s my fault and hung up. She was overlay rude and i don’t recommend you to go here. Communication, a simple thing and she couldn’t even do that. I am very disappointed and I’m telling all my friends, family and co-workers not to go there.

Man, that's some tasty pizza! We had a 14 in works and a garlic cheese bread. I have not had Pagliai's Pizza or Cheese Bread since 1992. Truly amazing stuff!

Excellent pizza and friendly staff. Nothing fancy inside but also good beer.

We had to hunt for a parking spot, but it was worthwhile. The interior is not fancy, but service was quick, the beer was cold and the pizza was FANTASTIC.

Please fix your hours on the website if you're actually closing early. We called at 9 pm, website indicated you guys were open until 11pm. That's fine if you want to close early but put on the website. People love your pizza but its disapponting when you call and they dont answer. This isn't the first time this has happened. Very disappointed!!

We went to Pagliai's for the first time since college, and it was pretty good! We ordered the house salad and a Sweet Heat pizza. Everything was great!

It was busy when I was there but it two hours to get our food. It was good but a little over priced. For noodle and sauce. We did get a salad, witch was good. So over all it was ok. Would go back and would recommend.

Super busy on a Saturday afternoon. Probably explained by the quality of the pizza. Everyone loved it. No gluten-free crust for me so I settled for a salad, which was expensive but fresh and tasty. Server was frazzled but very attentive.

Had a pretty good lunch here yesterday. The spaghetti was just a little wetter than I like, but still good. The Taco Pizza was ok but I probably wouldn’t order it again. My buddy loved the Philly Cheesesteak and says it could be one of the best he’s ever eaten. I would come back again if I was in the area.

Order pizza from this place they said 45 mins to an HR and came an hour and 20 mins late. Tipped them over the phone when I ordered my pizza and it arrived with no toppings on a slice. Like it was scraped off with someone's finger or something. Disgusting and horrible service I took a photo

This place was a go to staple when I was in college. My wife and I stopped for dinner tonight after being in town for the first time in a few years. Our pizza came out very undercooked and was not at all what I remembered about this place.

Wait staff were very friendly, attentive and fast. Food was at our table in a flash. Pagliais has been my nephews favorite pizza since he was in college in the 80s. He'd give it 10 stars if he could. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is from personal taste. The pizza had thick tomato sauce and it's not something I care for. Tons of toppings and cheese tho!

Works Deep dish with added Jalapeños. One of the best pizzas I’ve had lately and great crust!

The pizza is great, but i am here to tell you about the poorboys. Uhmazing. The hot poorboy is my fave, i make a special trip here every time i am in town to get one. A culinary delight.

Great thin crust pizza. My 2 kids, 14 and 10, and I got the Maverick pizza and a couple of sodas. We loved the pizza and it reminded me of college pizza I had in Iowa City at a place of the same name. Coincidence? Maybe. Service was courteous of the college kid variety. They were pretty busy bussing tables and stuff so... Pizza and a couple of sodas plus tip came to about $45.

One of favorite places to order delivery been doing it for 3 years.. well tonight is pizza night and called to place order and he put me on hold and told me nope can't do it today cuz they are to busy.. never have I ever felt more unappreciated or that my business didn't matter tried supporting local and thats the thanks i got lost a loyal customer.. But politos had no issues... Update called and one of the owners didn't seem to care made excuses for them I have been ordering delivery from them for 3 years had hrs and half waits but alla sudden they are to busy to delivery my pizza.. sorry Joel for an owner you should be ashamed

They have great pizza but we called when we arrived for curbside and they said they would bring the pizza right out. 20 min later I finally went in to ask on the progress and the pizza had just been sitting there. If you need people to come in to get their order that's fine but dont offer curbside if you arent going to follow through on that service.

Their own website, Facebook, and Google all say they are open from 11 to midnight. The answer to a call was very rude with "closed" and a hangup. Hope they make it through this tough time.

I gave them a shot again and they really knocked it out of the park.

This is one of those old university town pizzerias. It is on par with Shakespeare's Pizza in Columbia, MO and Big Ed's in east Tennessee. Grat pizza at an affordable price! I plan to order again the next time I'm passing through.
