Hidden gem of Mankato! This town doesn’t have much to offer in terms of good food but this was an exception! We got the mixed meat plate and the lamb is perfect. Great fries, great cucumber yogurt, great tzaziki, chicken was dry but still ok with sauce. Great service too and amazing prices (Compared to big cities)!!!

Amazing food. Super flavorful, great service. I've rarely had food this flavorful. I nearly cried. TV speakers are blown out and the noise isn't great but the food is amazing.

First time trying Mediterranean and let me say I was not disappointed. Freshly homemade food that will leave you bursting at the seams. Great customer service they even went out of their way and time to explain certain dishes and desserts. Definitely a lil hidden gem on campus.

I reserve my reviews only when they are absolutely necessary. I would be doing this place a DISSERVICE if I did not post about how god damn amazing this place is. Quality food, quality ingredients and CULTURALLY ACCURATE. I do not know how this place is not packed every day. I am writing this because I love food and very rarely do I get this type of enjoyment from food. Even if you don’t believe me, come here and try it yourself and if I’m right you owe me a thumbs up.

It’s not the prettiest place but the food is delicious and authentic , and service is impeccable, and the people people were welcoming and genuinely nice.

Schwarma Chicken Sandwich is a household favorite. Fry seasoning and cook on fries are amazing! Service is always very friendly when we eat in store. You can also easily order with doordash as well.

Service was great and efficient even though we arrived right at opening they had everything ready for lunch menu. Food was great and they were able to accommodate my dining companions vegan diet as well.

Great service fresh and not under any heat lamps. I had a appetizer platter and for the main dish the best greek gyro i have had in a long time. The pita was slightly crisp and the cucumber sauce was fresh and amazing...

I recently tried Shawarmania for the first time to provide dinner at a small family event. The takeout experience with them was excellent, as they allowed me to take out my large prepaid order upon arrival to the restaurant, even though there was a line at the register. Upon opening the dishes, what we found were generous helpings of excellent food. It was immediately obvious that the staff had understood our special instructions for some of the dishes, and followed them exactly. There were a substantial amount of comments during dinner about how great or unique the flavors were. Even dishes that are normally very dry at other Mediterranean restaurants were filled with flavor. If I could provide one piece of advice other than going with Greek bread instead of the pita bread, it would be to not hesitate to try some of the dishes you have never heard of. With the great variety of flavors and close attention of those preparing the food, you won't be disappointed!

The fries were good but the Shawarma - not so much. I was very excited to eat here but my wrap had almost no sauce and the chicken was quite dry. I'll give them another try because I've heard great reviews. Maybe it was an off day for them

The best middle eastern food I’ve ever had here in the US! I’ve been craving for some arabic food for awhile now, thank goodness I found this restaurant in Mankato Minnesota. It brings back memories when I lived in Dubai UAE. I’m so impressed with the service and Ahmad the owner was welcoming and very friendly. If I could give 10 star I would do it!!!

I have been coming here frequently since they opened just a few years ago. The food is always amazing, the service is friendly. There are a few regular employees who always greet me with a smile, including the owner Ahmad. As far as I can tell this is real authentic Mediterranean food. Absolutely delicious. They also have a small grocery section inside. Selection of Mediterranean spices, desserts and other foods.

Delicious mouth-watering food! I've been wanting to go to this place for a while now and finally took some time the other night to try it out. I chose to order three lamb on rice dinners and a greek salad to split between myself and my two guests. It was absolutely excellent. Staff was really friendly and made our stay very enjoyable. I'll be back for more food.

Sorry but this was not good food. We got the chicken shawarma sandwiches with garlic sauce and pickles. It was cold and the bread was stale. We also got the beef kabob platter and that was a disaster. The rice was sour and the kabob was tough as nails. I mean you need to use a steak knife to cut it! The guys serving are nice but if you are used to good food, this place will for sure disappoint.

Small restaurant combined with a grocery store. They have a good variety of choices at great prices. You've got to try the Turkish coffee!

The place is basic- fast food building - but food is fresh - but have to say it is truly the closest Shawarma to the ones we had in Saudi - reason for 4 star is needs a large quarter pickle in the wrap no chopping it up & maybe the greek bread would be better that the pita bread. The app plater was great too, wish the babaganosh had more egg plate in it.💝 truly worth the vidit from the Twin cities.
