Ein wirklich außergewöhnliches Konzept mit unfassbar leckeren veganen Gerichten. Es gibt eine monatlich wechselnde Karte. Bei uns gab es Meze mit vielen verschiedenen Speisen zum Teilen. Die Servicekräfte sind super aufmerksam und erklären jedes Gericht. Wir sind echt begeistert und kommen gerne wieder!

Wo fange ich an? Das Café ist mit so viel Leidenschaft und Herzblut eingerichtet, wie ich es selten gesehen habe. I mean selbst die Toiletten sind ein Highlight! Das Personal ist suuper freundlich, beantwortet alle Fragen und lässt einen absolut willkommen fühlen. Das Essen? Ein Traum. Hatte noch nichts, was nicht geschmeckt hat. Zuletzt das Hotpot-Essen war super außergewöhnlich und echt gut. Die Lage ist perfekt in einem Hinterhof, sodass man das Gefühl hat in einer kleinen anderen Welt zu sein und nicht direkt an der Straße, wo jedes andere Lokal liegt. Abends wurde der Weg mit Lichtern ganz romantisch geschmückt. Also ganz klar 10/10 ! 😍🥰😇😎

Geheimtipp ☝🏼 Ausschließlich veganes Essen, alles super lecker. Mottospeisekarte, die alle 6 Wochen wechselt. Auch die Bedienungen und Chefinen sind sehr sympathisch. Preislich etwas höher verortet aber auf jeden Fall gerechtfertigt! Mann muss sich beeilen um eine Reservierung zu bekommen da meistens ausgebucht.

I was at Café Tropical a week ago and enjoyed the wonderful cuisine. I've never been to a restaurant where I felt completely comfortable. The decor, the food and the friendly service were a pleasant relaxation from the hectic pace of everyday life. I've never seen the topic of cheese translated into vegan so well as in this restaurant. It's a shame that it's only a weekend restaurant and you can't enjoy it all week long. But it's understandable when you see that everything is homemade and no finished products are used. It's a shame that the small menu is so extensive that it's not possible to try everything if there are only two of you. I would like to have a kind of menu where a large part of the menu is shown with slightly smaller portions. 4-6 courses with wine accompaniment. Lovely vegan restaurant with a large outdoor space, which offers weather protection and is decorated with lights. There is a changing menu focusing on one specific national cuisine, in our example Indian Streetfood. Our dishes (tikka fried chicken and fried okra) were rich in flavor, cooked without convenience food and beautifully arranged.

Our favorite restaurant in Mannheim, I wish there would be more like this one! Delicious food vegan food that our non vegan friends love too. We love the changing menus and come every time there is a new theme. And last but not least the owners and staff are the friendliest, coolest people you will find !

I even order dishes here with ingredients that I “actually” don’t like, but the team manages to make me love it every time. Interesting concept but overall average food quality for the price. Menu sounds great and while some dishes were lovely others were a bit plain or not well executed. Service was a bit haphazard but very friendly.

The concept and setting was fantastic, however the food was not very well executed. It was the second day of the new menu and apart from the taco, the other dishes didn’t really excel (or didn’t show up). There are some great vegan foods which would have worked a lot better than using ‘imitation’ beef for example, which was dry. The concept is great and with a few tweaks and a new desert, I am sure it will be fantastic.

Auch als Fleischesser kann ich das Cafe Tropical nur absolut empfehlen. Das Essen ist einfach unfassbar gut! Ich war inzwischen ein paar mal dort und die Geschmacksvielfalt aller verschiedenen Gerichte hat mich jedes mal umgehauen. Dazu noch die Herzlichkeit des gesamten Teams dort, das macht es einfach zu einem tollen Erlebnis und ich freue mich jedes mal darauf!

Kann ja garnicht glauben, dass ich noch nichts geschrieben hab. Ganz wundertoller Laden mit den besten Frauen (und Mann) auf Welt im Service und der Küche, feinste Speisen und noch feinere Drinks! Da muss jeder hin.

Ein kleines veganes Restaurant mit monatlich wechselndem "Spielplan" (Reservierung notwendig). Wir waren bei "Wunderland" - vorweihnachtliches veganes Fine Dining- Menü. Köstlich war es, überraschend, mit einem schnellen und aufmerksamen Service, alles mit gaaaanz viel Liebe gemacht. Wir kommen wieder! 💚✨️🙏🎉
