Service is very friendly. Food is good and you clearly get enough to eat. Slightly dark inside and if all tables are full it can be pretty loud. We like to go there once we are in that area.

Anytime I am in Mannheim I make sure to visit Olympia. The food is outstanding, portions are huge and the atmosphere is fantastic. The staff are extremely kind and even though I don’t speak German, they were very patient and polite while I stumbled through my order. You also get an after dinner Greek yogurt topped with honey and a ouzo shot to finish off your meal. Did I mention the very reasonable prices? The location is also fairly convenient from the tram line #1 if you get off at Karlsplatz. Definitely get dinner here and see for yourself.

Large portions, fast preparation, delicious

Found this great restaurant on Google maps. The proprietor was very accommodating and allowed us to place her electric bicycles very close by for security purposes. I ordered the bean soup which was very tasty and the calamari appetizer. The squid was perfectly and lightly drenched in flour and fried. My husband ordered the pork with aubergine which came with feta and a very tasty sauce. The portions were extremely large and satisfying. We would come back here.

Used to love ordering the lamb kotelette, but recent plate had barely the 6 rib bones & hardly any meat ☹️For €30 Will not go to Olympia again, unfortunately
