A wonderful Ethiopian food after a long time. The starter, Ful, was extremely delicious! The vegan platter was good and filling as well. The banana beer smelled and tasted of bananas, it was yummy. The honeywine smelled of honey, and the taste was different to normal wine. The staff was friendly and helpful, as soon as a place outside was available she arranged it for us. It was a grand end to my trip to Mannheim!

I am big euthopian food lover.. Specially Ingeera bread that they make.. the food there is authentic and super delicious. Loved it so much. If you are around and want to try something delicious yet healthy and fulfilling.. I would say go for it ❤️❤️

Loved it!!!! Absolutely authentic and tasty and a very polite staff who takes good care of the guest. A must go to place in case anyone wants to experience it for the first time. It's a treat for the Asians(visiting here)I would say as it resembles almost similar tastes with reasonable price. The only suggestions would be to increase the quantity a bit for the rest of the dishes that come along with the injera.

Exceptional. I didn't know what to order, so they offered to create a mixed plate of everything for all my family to share.

Tasty food and amazing service !

Dining at YEnat was our first experience with Ethiopian cuisine in Germany - and we were favorably surprised. The "vegan combination" for 3 people was a rich and flavorful mix of various vegetables, paired with fluffy "pancakes". The waitress was very kind and explained everything to us. The atmosphere was nice and cozy - maybe the ratio of tables per square meters is too high? Reserve your spot in advance! Small downside: The day we came, only cash payments were accepted.

Authentic, delicious food!!! You won't get a better meal with such a homely and welcoming atmosphere. This is a local joint you'll feel great to support. The menu is small and to the point, a handful of starters and then the main which is a pancake-like soft spongey dough and a selection of sauces, meats and vegetables. We had the samosas which are probably the best I've had. Crunchy and full of flavour and spices. Really perfect. For the main, we got the mixed platter for 2 which comes with a bit of everything. The combination of the sour green beans and the spices on the curried lentils and chicken are a match made in heaven. We used the pancake to sandwich the fillings, but you can also eat with a fork. Will definitely come back again if ever in town.

We came in close to closing time, so not as handy on our part. Service was super fast tho, and the food was delicious. If I lived in this city I'd gladly visit again.

Lovely vegan food 🥰 We had all starters and main dish and the banana dessert! Everything great. We can basically recommend everything. Also the personal was very friendly 💕

Excellent traditional Ethiopian food! There is menu in English for those who doesn't speak German. We didn't have to book ahead which is a bonus. There is seating outside of the restaurant for warm days and the place is shaded so it's really pleasant. Atmosphere wise, well... local middle eastern yobos driving their cars and blasting music and exhaust pops now and then... Not very often so it's tolerable, can sit inside so you can avoid all that

One star only because of poor service. With one vegeterian hot meal on the menu the place is not really for vegeterian foodies like me. You can ofcorse vist to try the dish which tastes like Indian food but without spices. On the up side the ambience is decent and the pineapple limonde is well made. Suggestion for the owners: Welcome every customer with a smile.

Highly recommended. Very good food and drinks! Always worth a visit, especially if you never had Ethiopian food.

The food is amazing and the honey wine is a must.

I was pretty disappointed with this place. The staff is very nice, but it took quite a while to take our orders and then a long time to serve us our food even though the restaurant was only half full. The food itself was pretty blend and the meat that I tried was very dry. I won't be coming back.
