Whole room stinks of stale smoke, the phone wire to call reception was disconnected, grubby sleazy hotel with cheap foam mattress. All magnet cards stop working after use. Noisy road. Never again here..... It is inconceivable for me that the smoke alarms work in the rooms as they stank of smoke. Personally, I would not risk sleeping here without testing the smoke detectors before putting my head down on the smelly pillows.

All in all a poor stay. On one side it was a bargain, but there too many issues with service, room and available features for a four star rated hotel. TV broke down, waiting times at the reception, room key not working, room not according to the booking, eating times for service er the bar, availability of leisure features like pool and sauna not as advertised, one morning no cold(!) water, room door didn’t lock properly, constantly running water in the toilet … just to name a few. At least the staff was friendly and the room was clean. Just to justify 2 stars: reaction time on this review= 3 month!

Had a very good experience here. We got a really great room to a reasonable price. Directly in the city of Mannheim. Very good place to stay.

I must praise the hotel staff. They were very helpful, professional and nice at the reception, the room was cleaned every day, and the areas used by all hotel guests were always tidy. It was very nice, when you arrived at the reception they offered us champagne, small bites of food or some other drink. The room we stayed in was comfortable, warm, and the bathroom had a hairdryer and other necessary things. All praise. We will come again.

The room was clean, comfortable and the forniture was new. I was positively impressed by the bathroom that was very modern; pillows were very soft and big. I felt very welcomed.

No room available despite having confirmed booking. Rebooked to another Leonardo hotel at same cost but with no pool. Avoid this one if you like well-run hotels and competent administration.

This is a 3 star hotel masquerading as a 4. Shabby and overpriced. Rooms are in need of refurbishment, lacking an ironing board, decent hot drinks facilities and no mini bar. It would be fine at 60 to 80 Euro but not well over 100 per night. Far better on offer in Mannheim for the price.

I stay in hotels about 100 days a year or more for work, this hotel was fantastic. Hotel staff was excellent, accommodating and friendly. The rooms were clean and not too cramped, also the beds were great and very comfy. The breakfast was amazing, in the USA hotel breakfast is usually best just skipped for whatever local fare you can find within walking distance. Not here, the spread was great and the service was perfect. 10/10 hotel experience for a decent price.

I feel this hotel is a bargain. Rooms are clean, no smells. More of a no frills hotel, however the beds are perfectly comfortable, large shower for Europe. Gabriella and her co-workers were absolutely awesome. I would add some English entertainment in the TV lineup like Neflix, HBO Max, etc. Sometimes you just want to chill. Zito's is an awesome Italian joint next door. See Francesco he is a friend to all.

Disgusting smell in the room, because of that we changed the room, but the smell stayed the same. Then, accidentally, we talked with another guest who told us the hotel has a rat problem - which lasts already for about two weeks, probably because of a construction side nearby. We saw two rat traps under the bed. And then, we decided not to stay in the hotel. A positive review should receive the friendly security guy who helped us to find the alternative.

Location is good Staff is very friendly Pool and sauna was excellent Rooms are big and cleaned all the time Access to elevator from last rooms is time taking. Always go with the room near to elevator. Difficulty while carrying over luggage since no support staff .

Great hotel, large room, comfortable bed, modern bathroom, central. With pool and sauna. Update: we stayed here again this year, and it was still a good experience, but not quite as positive as last year. Staff was less friendly, breakfast not as tasty, the lift to the pool was broken so had to take the stairs, and Sauna was not open at all times. The room was still comfy and spacious, though a bit dark. Location is great.

Excellent for the price. Will stay here again when in Mannheim next. Comfortable rooms with modern bathrooms. Service and staff are good. City centre location with easy tram and train access.

Very nice, friendly and polite staff. The rooms are modern and quite. The location is in the city center near to different restaurants as well as shopping areas. I enjoyed my stay in there and highly recommend this hotel.

Location is near Central of shopping street and 15 minutes away from train station. Room is big in term of European standard and that's all on positive side of this hotel. The bad: 1) Breakfast remain same during my entire week stay and limited selection. 2) House keeping is completely not up to any standard. When the house keeping is done by the female employee, everything are in order. But most day house keeping are done by the male employee and things such as bedsheets not done and cup not wasted... 3) need to go to front desk for sending laundry and collection. First time in my entire life that I need to do this and can be eye opening as the front desk has problems looking for my laundry during collection.

After I had to wait for more than an hour, they changed my room under the pretext that the reserved room was not ready and had not been cleaned yet. 👎🏻

I stayed in September.9 2023 with my wife. The receptionist was very kind and warm welcomed. I arrived at late evening. All groceries closed already. She gave us additional water bottles and some fruits. Thanks.

I really recommend this place for staying when you're in Mannheim or near by. Hotel is located in city center, everything is neat and tidy, staff is helpfull,polite and very kind. Rooms are spacious!

The Wi-Fi wasn't working when I arrived here. Otherwise, the employees were really welcoming and helpful. Full breakfast, bit expensive.

Good location of hotel in the centre and on walking distance from the train station. Parkering garage close by. City centre are close by and restaurants on walking distance. No restaurant was open in the hotel. But the bar had a small menu and the flamkuchen was quite good. Also reasonable bar prices for a hotel One big minus was the construction work on the road outside that was ongoing until after one a clock in the night.

Nice hotel but unfortunately there was a construction site right in front of the hotel while our stay. Also breakfast could be a little less convenient food. But still had a good stay overall.

We very much enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The gentleman in glasses who attended us at the reception was very friendly and helpful, wonderful service. The room was very clean and the breakfast very tasty, there was everything to eat, all very nice

One night as I was in my Hotel room, I saw a rat in the room and it ran. It was lost in the room and they gave us another room to stay in. Overall the Hotel is good but that was a disgusting experience to experience and it says a lot about the hotel cleanliness.

What a dissaster! First they didnt gove mw the room because my reservation wasnt on their computer so i booked a room again from anoter app and again nothing the receptionist wasnt helpful at all he said to wait an hour that maybe my reservation would show later😂 so i cancelled everything and took a room directly from the hotel paid went to the elevator waited for about 5 minutes with another customera from the hotel, the elevator wasnt working so i went to check with reception who was only 4m away and the guy said ohh sorry i forhot to tell you the elevators dont work from reception!!! So we walked to the 4th floor because the stairway was on totally other side of the building. I pert the hotel the same day

The hotel needs an upgrade. It was very smelly, my room has a smoke smell. There was a mouse walking around in the room and I left, the guy in the desk didn’t believe me he said he was doing me a favor by sending me to another hotel … disgusting customer service in the desk. You should educate your people. The guy was telling me that he should go an check if it was true cause the problem of mice in the hotel has been “ contained” . Well, certainly not !!!! Disgusting experience EVER AGAIN ! I wish I could put less than 1 star

We had a nice stay with the pool, sauna and very charismatic bar staff being the highlights. The place is a bit dated and the house keeping staff were a bit over-zealous but not a bad spot if you want to stay right in the centre of town.

I was here for an extended trip, and enjoyed my stay. Specifically, the Staff were always nice and helpful. The staff in the restaurant were quite welcoming (including S. Schindler; others were also nice to interact with, but I forget their names at the moment). The staff at reception were also always helpful (again, I forget their names at the moment, but everyone I interacted with was helpful). Will come back again next time I visit Mannheim. Thanks to all!

I travel a lot because of my job and sometimes end up in very bad hotels... This one was perfect for business travelling!!!! REALLY SURPRISED!!! The attention given was just perfect and the staff (reception, cleaning) was just so helpful and friendly! I'm will definitely repeat. The room was very spacious, clean and silent (ideal for business travel) and right in the town centre. TOTALLY RECOMMEND.

10/10 for the staff and service. They accommodated our special requests and allowed us to check in earlier. Good environment as well as a cozy cafe that offers coffee and some pastries every morning. Toilet was recently renovated and very clean and bright too. However the rooms could be improved as they seemed a little dusty and dated, windows were not the cleanest and the carpets looked very worn too. However I would still stay here again if I ever visit Mannheim in the future. Receptionist was very kind

Nice place to stay in. However, there was very limited choice for Dinner meals when I was there from Feb 6th to Feb 11th 2022. Maybe because of COVID? I dont know!!!

We booked your hotel for 2 people from Dusseldorf and then we arrived at your hotel in Mannheim! and the person at the reception could not find our reservation ! Then we stayed at the Maritim Hotel!

We stayed at Leonardo hotel for 1 night. Very nice and friendly staff. The hotel includes sauna and swimming pool for free and it was a real treat for us. Everything was clean and spacious! A good point is their very comfortable mattress and pillows, we had the best sleep ever! I would definitely trust them again, especially as the hotel is so central and there are many restaurants and shops around. Very convenient if you do not have a car! Would definitely recommend and visit again!
