😠 I tried to like this place. I gave it several opportunities to salvage it's reputation. However, they pay all of their workers minimum wage and it really shows in the quality of all food produced here. There truly is no comparison to better burgers like 5 Guys, Lenok's and Jami's. DON'T DO IT. Very... People often mention burger, fries, burgers, time, good, taste, staff, sauce, tasty, table,

Poor, unstructured service. Came here on Sunday evening to eat a burger. I decided on the burger of the month. After a long wait with practically no capacity, I got the "burger of the month". This contained other ingredients than stated. Apparently the staff doesn't know what goes in there. I then returned it and received it incorrectly for the second time. The third time it was right, but with a quality that didn't justify the price. There was no excuse for that either. A friend ordered a veggie burger that wasn't served meat-free. This was also complained about, but the staff simply replaced the meat with a vegetarian patty, which didn't make much sense. So this was also returned. In addition to the poor taste, the toilets were also in a catastrophic condition, where the food almost came back up. Last but not least, payment is only possible in cash.

I ate here a while ago and can still remember the experience well. First I would like to say that one can only praise the chefs because they are trying to make the best of the situation. The food is okay. It's a bit overpriced considering it's a standard burger joint. If you can't find anything else, you can get your fill here, but it's definitely not worth coming here specifically to eat. All in all, nothing special, there are many better burger shops nearby. In addition, the changing workforce is sometimes very unfriendly.

I was here for the first time today. First of all, my experience with the food: The food was very tasty. The bun of the burger was very fresh and pleasantly soft. The burger itself was very well constructed and the sauce had a good taste. All in all, there was nothing wrong with the burger. The fries seemed homemade - even if they were frozen fries, they were very good fries! These may be too salty for some people, but I found them perfect. I personally didn't like the "house sauce" as it was advertised because in my opinion it only tasted like mayonaise with curry, but to each his own. The prices for a menu and other things are very pleasant. Now to my negative point: Since it was my first time there, I wanted to reserve a table beforehand because you never know how full it will be. So I called in the morning and reserved a table in my name. The gentleman on the phone also said that everything was fine and so I thought that it was all over now. When I got there in the evening and asked which table we had, I was told that you couldn't reserve tables there because "they don't do anything like that" and that you should just sit down wherever it was free. This surprised me personally, as the gentleman on the phone had previously reserved a table for me... Well, there seems to have been a misunderstanding, but a recommendation nonetheless!

Don't get the big burguer unless you are REALLY hungry. Staff was amazing. Waiting time was below average. Fries overcooked, burguers were OK. I really wished we liked it more. I will give it a second chance in a couple of months.

It was our first time eating there and we were very disappointed. The staff exudes an indifference and listlessness that is hard to describe. The fries were way too salty. My lip burned so much afterwards, something I've never had before. And the currywurst tasted absolutely disgusting. Once and never again!

The homemade dip for the fries was a special addition to the already tasty Mayflower burger menu. :)

Salad and sweet potatoes are very good. BURGERS and nuggets are okay. Unfortunately, what is disappointing is that after waiting to order, you still have to wait about 30 minutes. Only one employee is there to grill and order at the checkout at the same time. What's annoying is that flies and small fruit flies always come when we eat. I'm here for the first time and should be the last time.

Yesterday we ate at Wittkoop for the first time and found the burgers very tasty. We liked the meat and the vegetarian patty. The service was also very friendly and not stressed. There is also a large selection of rolls!! The only drawback: the dressing in the side salad... it was way too much and therefore way too soggy... unfortunately the wish for a simple vinegar and oil dressing couldn't be fulfilled :D

Delicious burgers, in my opinion there is no need to charge extra for choosing another fried side dish. It would be helpful to find a menu at the table so that you don't have to choose a burger until you get to the checkout. Unfortunately, the digital map above the counter is too small and cannot be read from every angle.

I've only been here once so far, but it was worth it! Very friendly staff, easy ordering and amazing taste! I ate the Hans Albers in the menu, it was really tasty, especially the sauce on the burger. Extra big recommendation for the homemade French fries sauce, it's incredibly tasty! I'll definitely visit the store more often when I'm in Mannheim :)

I'm a New Yorker living in Germany. With that being said: I have tried many Burger places since moving to Germany and Wittkoop is still my favorite. The burgers taste great and the fries are cooked almost perfectly. It's not the biggest place but they have seating and the employees are nice. This is a must for Burger lovers.

Its a nice shop with a good sortiment of burgers and some nice bread variations. Unfortunately though, the burger was not good. Instead of being juicy as it should be, the meat was extremely dry. It also didnt get compensated by sauce, since there was barely any in the burger. The cheese was not nicely melted on the meat as it should be, at least if speaking of good burgers. Its a pity, since I wanted to like it because of the nice concept, but I cannot rate this higher than 2 stars. The pommes was quite okay though.

A really great burger shop that we also like to order from for work. The One Hander is super good and cheap for small appetites. The sweet potato fries and baked potatoes are also delicious. Even the normal fries are crispy despite being delivered. Once there was a hair, so one star deducted... But once you can turn a blind eye. 😊

Good burgers horrible staff and bad service. I change my rating from 4 star to 1 star. Earlier they used to have great staff but last month I saw new young staff fighting each other. Their team lead shows that 2 guys were serving burgers in dirty plates. I ordered veg burger and sweet potato fruits as take away. I had waited for an hour as theysay they forgot to buzz the machine. When I told them I ordered for veg burger as I am vegetarian. They refused to change it or accept the mistake. I left the burger and went away. It was disappointing

It taste as it should. In general its not bad, but i find the bacon fries a bit too greasy, have a feeling like I'm having a dΓΆner box instead of having fries at a burger shop. The burger i had is with pulled pork, it taste ok, but a bit too wet. The burger patty though, it is really well made, and really delicious. All in all the experience is mixed, and i would suggest to go for a simpler burger, that should taste good.

The burgers and fries are very tasty. Price performance is also clear. The salad was ok, but would recommend the burgers. All in all, recommended. There is a 1 star deduction because the food wasn't ready at the same time (10 minute difference) and there are no Coca Cola brands for the drinks, only Pepsi.

Unfortunately, after 50km of travel, we discovered that the owner had stuck a note on the door: "Dear Wittkoop friends, unfortunately closed today"... Luckily there are plenty of alternatives in Mannheim. Very unfortunate. Disappointed children who were looking forward to seeing citizens...

Good food at moderate prices. The fries taste very good! A vegan version of the vegetarian burger is also available upon request. Unfortunately it took about 45 minutes before we could pick up our food. In addition, the toilets are not in good condition and the hygiene rules are currently somewhat inadequate. The table wasn't cleaned when we arrived and there was no disinfectant anywhere for customers. Despite this, it is recommended as a kind of β€œquick restaurant” if you are not in a hurry.

me and a friend went today to this place and we regret this huge mistake. We ordered a Colombo Burger and Mayflower and after an hour we realized that they had forgotten our order. Finally we asked and they responded with attitude and prepare our burgers. The food was small and without a taste and the French fries were cold. For anybody who is planning to visit this place, please avoid this mistake. Don't lose your money and time.

This place was okay. Nothing special. Seen better Mexican restaurants.

The food is quite terrible (I had a regular cheeseburger with fries). The burger patty is significantly smaller than the bun (which I consider to be a sham) and - more importantly - it has almost no taste at all. The lettuce is shredded (gravity wins this fight) and doesn't add any aromas. To sum up: an insipid cheeseburger :-( The fries are even worse: no taste of potato whatsoever, instead you get a flavor mix of frying fat and raw paprika powder (of which there is way too much). Finally, the in-house sauce that comes with the fries is some kind of curry sauce (not advertised as such, though) which neither suits fries in general nor is any good in its own right. Verdict: if you like burgers, avoid this place.
