    One star only because I received my money back, and that was due to the company getting upset that I was unhappy with the service and let them in a polite manner know about it. So basically they had a tantrum. I have ordered two creatures, the website said nothing about them not being in storage and I have paid for an express shippment (1-2 days and I have the package). After the 2 days pass I have asked where is my package and was told that there were no animals availabe right now. Why then, would you have it availabe online to buy and pay for quick sending? After I have expressed, politely must I again say, that this is not how things should go, they just returened my money and cancelled the shippment altogether, I did not ask for it nor did I want it, thank you for nothing. Unprofessional and childlish.

    Do not use this company! They force customers to pay for 1 day shipping which is really expensive. I can understand this is due to the fact you sometimes ship livestock. My package only arrived a few days later resulting in most of the livestock dyeing. I then asked what they would do about it, the agreed to send me a new package free of charge. I specifically told them not to send it at that moment but a couple of weeks later as I was on holiday and would not be able to receive the package. They sent the package anyway. I told them I was not home to which they told me to simply not pick up the package at a pick up location where it has been left by the courier. After this I had to wait weeks for them to finally send the package back and then issue me a refund. However, they only refunded me the cost of the livestock and not the shipping. How can they expect the customer to carry the cost of the courier when the customer has done nothing wrong. Now I have essentially paid 50 euros for one snail and two eating blocks not even worth 6 euros. The customer care is also rude and very sarcastic and take their time to respond. Save your money and go elsewhere. I have luckily found another online store that sells the same snails for a fraction of the price and also do not force customers to pay such high courier fees.

    Bad customer service and packaging . Hard to talk with these guys with their one line messages and looking only under their nose. Have ordered from them several times and every time some dead shrimps or some thing. They ship in single bag which is not proper for shipping. Last time a bag was burst and all shrimps in it was dead and in other there was not enough water and some dead too . Don't buy from them, especially on amazon.

    I ordered now the second time because of a voucher. First time all the shrimps passed away, fair enough they gave me a voucher of 10 euros. After that I thought it would be a good idea to order some more stuff. The order went out 11.5.2020 I am still waiting for my package. No help from their side. Very disappointed.

    Dead on Arrival (DOA)! I tried to use their website to complain about my delivery arriving with dead animals. It appears their software has a convenient glitch and no reply to email. I get a sinister vibe about this company and its lack of customer service suggests bad business ethics. I will never deal with them again, and I advise anyone reading this to take heed. The better business bureau will be notified of this company.

    AVOID THIS SHOP! I ordered 12 Neocaridina but I received just 11. My order was too late shipped (it took 8 days to arrive in Switzerland) and animals were alive but very stressed. Customer care was of no help at all and not very polite. I'll never buy anything again!

    Really poor customer support and services. I bought 2 crayfish with 1 day express shipping. Because they had a bug on their servers, it was replaced with DHL standard. It arrived in 3 days, one cray dead (1800 km on road with negative degrees outside, instead of airplane). They only offered me a 60 euros voucher, while the dead cray + express shipping is 92 euros. So I had to pay another 32 euros from my pocket to order a new cray! Why should I suffer a loss because they were incapable of offering what I paid for? I just accepted because I waited a long time to get these crayfish and I was inpatient to get it. But I was ready to complain to the EU customer protection. It's been 3 days already and they still haven't sent it. Besides that, it takes at minimum half a day to get any reply from them. That goes for Whatsapp, for Facebook or email it's even longer.

    I ordered 5 blue velvet shrimp, 4 were sent and all 4 are now dead. 5 yellow fire shrimp and 1 is alive. 5 orange rili sakura shrimp and 3 remain. I ordered 3 plants in pots and they sent three incorrect plants. There was also a scud packed in with the shrimp. I ordered on 1/Nov and it arrived 7/Nov. I was told the shrimp were sent on 3/November, so they spent 4 days in their packaging and when I received them the water was 11 degrees and very cold :( No wonder so many have died! I can only hope the remaining shrimp are now recovered from the shock. I can't say I would recommend which is a shame as I was really looking forward to the arrival of my new shrimp. Perhaps for other items this store is ok.

    I am very satisfied with my first purchase from Garnelio.de. I found their website easy to navigate. The prices were fair. My order was dispatched quickly and arrived the next day. My plant, shrimp, and snail were all healthy and carefully packed. The only suggestion for improvement I can make is to make product descriptions online a little more detailed. I purchased a decoration for my aquarium, but the size was not specified in the description. I was a bit surprised to see how small it was, when it arrived. Overall, this is not a significant complaint .

    This was my very first order from Garnelio. There is room for improvement. Shipment was rather slow (Germany to Denmark) which took 9 days. When unpacking was done, I realized they sent me the wrong size of aquarium hooks (ordered 5mm, received 10mm). They are useless to me. UPDATE: After reaching out to customer service, I was generously compensated. I have changed the rating from 3 to 5 stars. Thumbs up.

    I ordered some aquarium starter deco, 5 moss balls and a large javafern on driftwood. Chose standard dhl delivery and got it 1 day after the package dispatched message, which i got the next day after placing the order. All arrived fine and look great in my aquarium. I intend to order more shrimps when my aquarium is cycled.

    Greetings: With my latest order # 318459 I purchased 10 red cherry shrimps, 10 orange-red ramshorn snails and 6 Tylomelania sp. 'Mini Yellow'. I'm happy to confirm that all animals arrived safely and securely packed a day after ordering them in good shape and health. Now I look forward for them having lots of babies. My experience with Garnelio has always been very positive and can recommend them wholeheartedly.

    BE CAREFUL, worst service ever for international, they do not care about customers. My order to Switzerland was shipped late (more than 2 days after the payment was done) in economy. I ordered from a .ch website, so I thought the taxes were paid. No, you pay German VAT + your VAT + customs fees = 30eur on a 125eur order + 25eur shipping. Almost everything was dead and now the client service is playing cat and mouse and don't want to reimburse anything.

    Totally worthless, just want to scam honest people out of money!! The first deliveries are working well. but then the problems start. Don't want to refund money and don't want to send what is ordered and paid for. So big warning! shop at your own risk. If it works, that's fine, but if there are problems, they are very difficult.
