Probably one of my favorite places to shop. You generally find everything. Place is clean and the vegetable/fruit section is big.

Scheck-in is very much like a Walmart SuperCenter. IMO, it is the best grocery store in Mannheim. There are smaller shops and a few food-court-like venues up front. A very good (warme Theke-snack bar) at the back of the store by the meat market. The grocery store is Edeke (so higher-end products are available like Doritos, Ben&Jerry's, etc.).

The biggest and greatest supermarket in Mannheim with Quality products and off course expensive. It has a huge selection of products in almost all the categories. The vegetables are fresh and organic . A great selection of liquors and meat. It also houses kitchen utensils, Home decor items, hobby items, electronics and bakery . It has premium stuff for everything. If you have the money and taste for quality. You must pay a visit to it.

Love this place. They have a lot of items I can't find at places like aldi and rewe. My favorite is chopped garlic with chili oil in a little jar. The butcher area is extensive and the bakeries are amazing. When you go in there's a huge fish counter and really good sushi.

It was very nice because I don't know German and one of the staff helped me in English without even me asking her. She definitely went the extra mile. Super customer service

Great selection of high quality products. I have twice bought suckling wild pig for holiday dinners, and was very happy. I even found confectioner's sugar from sugar canes, so I could finally make a good cream cheese frosting for my carrot cake. I only wish it was easier to get to without a car.

If this place doesn't have what you look for when I comes to food and drinks, then you will not be able to find it anywhere in Mannheim. Fresh meat and fresh baked bread. Fresh fish and sushi at the entrance. Nice cafeteria and drink market, all located under the same roof. Great selection of anything from spices and oils, to cheese and vegetables

This place has everything. It is so big, I lost my boyfriend in here for a while :-D the selection is massive and the prices are alright. Very clean and they have great produce

Big market but surprisingly little variety in brands since the refurbishment...they try to sell there own brand more and more...disappointing

If not the worst Market I've seen.

Whatever I cannot find in the rest of the groceries I can always find in Marktkauf. I love the atmosphere and how tidy it is always. It's more expensive but top quality.
