Had a wonderful Sunday lunch here at Sandys. I highly recommend trying for Sunday dinner. The three meat roast was delicious and left just enough room for a pudding. Vegetarian options are available. Service was great and a nice relaxed atmosphere. Will definitely be visiting again. ** The extra Yorkshire puddings in the pictures are £2 Each (which I'd say was a little overpriced)

Been coming here for many years and never had a complaint. But last visit, the food was awful! The burger was like a slightly warmed leftover. Lifted the top and the cheese was congealed and glued to the burger, a layer of breadcrumbs sticking to it from the stale bun. Fries were always great, with a delicious coating. This time they were unpeeled and full of black imperfections with no coating, inedible! If you aren't making a profit, raise the price, don't lower the quality. Visit was 20th April '22. I won't be back. Thanks for the past.

We visited here for Sunday lunch, having not been for a while and we weren't disappointed. It is by far and away, the best value for money Sunday lunch around, despite the slight increase in the price. The staff are extremely efficient and attentive and very friendly. The food is cooked perfectly and there is a good selection of veg on the plate. We had a Sunday dinner, but other meals also looked great(I was being nosey). We will definitely be coming again and we may try and fit a dessert in next time, although I doubt we will have room... Again.

Best Sunday dinner ever!! Lovely drinks, lovely food and we have been here so many times and the food never disappoints! However I did book Saturday afternoon for Sunday, I called up asking for a table and they took my name and number but they never wrote my booking down so I felt awkward when we turned up and they told us we weren’t on the list when we definitely booked. They did make us up a table and resolved the problem though which was good service so thank you!

Sandys is our new favourite place to eat. The food is delicious and very reasonably priced, lager is about £1.50 cheaper than other locals. The staff are really polite and friendly, they all actually seem happy to be working there, and a mix of ages, refreshing! I've taken my 8 year old, he loved it - it's a great family friendly local.

Went here to try the new Christmas menu they had just launched, (turns out we were customers 1 & 2), and it was absolutely SUPERB. We had the full 3 courses, which is only £18 and everything was beautiful, the food is piping hot, tastes great and you get a good sized portion. The chef, (Lenny), even came out to talk to us to make sure we were happy with everything, she was so lovely. The staff are so attentive, and Mandy at the bar always made sure we weren't waiting for drinks and did we want another round. I can't fault this place at all, great service, excellent food and warm and friendly staff, we will definitely be back!!

Was visiting Sandy's Bar for my friend's birthday celebrations. I absolutely loved it there - the atmosphere was great and the food was beautiful. I had fish and chips, it was so scrumptious. The staff were very lovely. They made the celebrations very special. I will definitely be back when I will be visiting Mansfield. Also, I highly recommend the Bar to everyone. Thank you!

Lovely place! Such friendly staff and well cooked food. Took our two young kids and they enjoyed their meals - especially the icecream!

We went as my son wanted to treat us, we made it simple and just ordered steaks, best steak I have had in a long time, had to thank the chef and staff they made us welcome and comfortable, not a place we would normally have visited, but we will go again if they would have us, not sure what they cooked the chips in but even they where delicious

Went here with a work do. Good atmosphere. Beef cob was lovely, chips were a little dry. Pool table too close to the bar. Decent booze. Would go again.
