The workers are really friendly, Enrique & Zito welcome us trully amazing... The payment shouldn't only be made by live cash, that has to be sorted out urgently. The rooms needs a bit of upgrade, specially on summer season (better mosquito nets & ventilation) ... Flies were nearby the Bar area, need to improve conditions here, considering People eat on open areas. Besides that... All was great. I Will definitely go back specting to have all mentioned issues sorted out.

Stayed here for a few days with my friend in the twin room. The rooms were basic but had everything we needed. The real highlight was Eric who works behind the bar but organises everything for you. Could not have been nicer and super helpful with everything. View from the place is super. Important to note its 4x4 to access everything on the island but Eric will help with all of that.

Manico camp is a camp ground on the banks of the mangrove shore. Accommodation consists of good quality tents and huts. Shared WC facilities, bar and pit fire areas. There are cooking facilities. Pleasant surroundings very relaxing

Relaxing Island escape. On the beach for walking at low tide, close to town for eating out. Offers several excursions. Tents need some work, holes in screen let mozzies in, nothing to put luggage on if youre sharing. Kayaking not available when we were there as all had holes in... Food was good.

Mixed feelings… the staff were friendly & accommodating. The hut we stayed in was clean & comfortable with a mosquito net over the bed, we struggled opening & closing the door. The hut has a bar fridge which worked well. The hut had more than enough storage space & a dressing table with mirror & plug points sufficient. The communal bathrooms were spacious & clean, but some of the light fittings weren’t working which made it difficult to see. Toilet paper rolls were replaced only upon request. Lots of mosquitos in the bathrooms. No mozzie coils used. We had a hot shower the first night but the last two nights were cold water. The bar area was pleasant, but not stocked with anything at all not even bottled water - staff had to go get supplies according to our requests. Food was alright & menu is limited but breakfast was great. Pool was lovely & kept clean daily. We enjoyed using the kayaks which is included in the accommodation price. We enjoyed lying on their loungers with cushions in the garden. We think the garden & grass itself could use some TLC. The wi-fi wasn’t working & we had to use a hotspot from the staff. Card machine also wasn’t working well. Communal kitchen clean, neat & tidy with lots of storage. Not sure if the fridges or freezer were working as we didn’t go the self catering route. The staff gladly drove us to a local restaurant or nearby areas. We could play any music or put anything on the bar tv we wanted to watch but the lodge was quiet & lacking atmosphere. Owners weren’t there. Overall we had a good stay but it could’ve been much much better. We paid R1000 per night excluding any meals.

The lodge is excellent value for money. The rooms are pleasant. The owners are always around to help you out. The camp has a nice. easy going atmosphere. I enjoyed the food, all was very well organised.
