Very good ambience and ocean view. Huge place with great drinks and seafood Sushibar is amazing Winecollection is just wow. Service is superb They have both english and portugese menu. Lovely ambience. Must visit with friends and family. Or a best spot for celebrations and dates.they have plenty of parking space. Private and road side as well.

- Really good, attentive service! - Great selection of food although the prices are a bit high. I had a salmon dish and it cost me an estimate of 1,100MZN. - The seafood is fresh! - You can choose on whether you'd like to sit inside or outside. - There is no on site parking space, so you have to park your car outside. Overall it's a pretty nice restaurant.

Great atmosphere. Perfect location in front of the beach. The food was carefully prepared and delicious. The waitors were incredibly professional.

You feel the warm welcome and expertise of the staff from the very first step. They are very attentive to detail, thats the least i will say. The food was perfect and this time i ate what the waiter suggested from from start to finish ( had a main dish and a desert lol ).

Food was good, service was good up to when we asked for the bill. After 20 minutes of waiting we went to go pay at the counter ourselves. Prices are high, but food is good.

Great atmosphere, sea views and authenticly pleasing all round. Prices are higher, clean modern bathrooms, outside seating gives a class of compliments.

We sat outside and had a Sushi buffet. It is a bit on the expensive side compared to what I'm used to but man, was it worth it. They definitely put their own spin on sushi and in most cases it worked well. The waiter seemed disinterested and might have sold more drinks if she had come by more often than twice in the three hours we were there. The seating outside seems to be getting worn as after time it became uncomfortable to sit there. 10/10 would go again.

The pros : one of the best tables in Maputo, with excellent choice of seafood, meat and wine. Special mention to the king prawns cooked to perfection. The cons : music can be a bit loud at times, and speed of service was a bit irregular.

Amazing food! Well done Zambi ! It’s truly deserves his 1st place best restorant in Maputo! The Samushas are unbelievable!! Soo delicious! Waw! The crab meat tapas - delicious too! We still have to try the rest of the seafood. And don’t remember the delicious desert name the flavors, the combination tastes with the ice cream and sorbet on side were complimenting the cream caramel pieces ……., Just blowed mine mind away! We can’t wait to go back for another awesome lunch or dinner this month! Happy to believe the reviews here and to go and check it out! It’s truly number one restaurant in Maputo!

Very good! This one on my top 3 list. Best tuna. Food and service are very good. You’ll experience delay when they have events or group tables but nevertheless the restaurant is very good!

Maybe the best restaurant in Maputo. Great service, nice people and delicious food. You can dine in the patio or inside. If you are a smoker they have inside room for smokers as well in case it's raining.

Zambi has a wonderful atmosphere both indoors and outdoors. The staff are friendly and the food (mains and dessert) was fresh and delicious! Definitely a place to go to again and again.

Don't go here for the sushi if you are gluten intolerant. Apparently all their ingredients are either mixed with gluten in-house, or they come with gluten. Ordered a California roll, Nigiri composto of salmon with rocotto and caviar, another of tuna and sour cream and one of shrimp with mayo and quinoa. California roll came with only rice, seaweed and salmon. No cucumber, no avocado nothing else. The nigiris came without any of the other ingredients. Only rice with salmon, tuna or shrimp. Not even the dab of wasabi. Apparently all sauces have gluten. The caviar, the quinoa, cream cheese all have gluten. And the chef seemed annoyed to have to come to the table to explain what was going on with the food and he only said that all the sauces have gluten, even the caviar, the sour cream and everything had gluten. He couldn't explain why the waiter told me that what I ordered was ok if it clearly wasn't. The only thing he said, in an annoyed tone, was that they would change in the bill so I paid for the simple nigiris and not the composite that I ordered but didn't arrive. Once again we were reminded not to eat here on Sundays. As they focus on Cozido à Portuguesa, all other areas are neglected. Including table service. It's like we get amnesia after 3-4 months and decide to try again, only to get reminded why we don't eat there on Sundays. Also, they don't know the difference between lactose intolerance and gluten intolerance so there are no deserts either, unless it's fruit.

The food was super delicious and nicely display in the plate. But the price is very high. The atmosphere is very good too. The sushi was very good but my favorite was the dessert

Nice enough, just like any standard fancy and expensive Maputo place. I would go again if someone invited me, but it doesn't stand out among other similar places.

Outstanding seafood (though I’d skip the beef dishes). Good service and good wine list. Pricey.

One of the finest restaurant in Maputo , Amazing food and great survive, Opening time is bit late (12 pm ) but worth the wait , it’s get quite busy fast , better to have reservations. The staff ( bit too many of them) speak English which is blessing when you dont speak Portuguese, The menu has variety and sushi and fish main dishes are well made, Will definitely visit again

I have had the fortune of eating here on a few occasions now. The food has always been excellent. I am not sure a poor meal can come out of the kitchen. The service is great, the environment relaxing. If you are visiting Maputo you have to visit Zambi.

Very nice and good ambiance restaurant to have Portuguese style food.... beef rump steak was awesome.... you guys also need to try once.

Great food and service in a nice atmosphere! We had the sushi all you can eat buffet which had a wide variety of delicious types of sushi, sashimi as well as ceviche and some baked vegetables. There was also a small selection of desserts. The service was great and the best thing to close off was their specialty tea (lemon peel with cinnamon and mint). You can sit outside on comfortable chairs with a view to the sea.
