I really enjoyed Grandma Maria’s hospitality and friendliness. Super polite and simple lady. Very grandma style. The room I got had a very dirty floor, covered in dirt (it looked like it had flooded). The air conditioning is new split type and very strong. There is a minibar in the room. Tube television (old). It didn't even matter because we didn't want to call anyway. Wifi doesn't work properly. Simple but delicious breakfast. The place has many plants, benches, spaces to relax with other guests. I recommend it and would go back.

Well located, great reception, new air conditioning, I felt at home. The rooms are simple, but for those who will enjoy the beach and the region! The room doesn't matter much!! I will go back there more often.

August 2021 was my third time at Pousada da Vovó Maria, the most beloved grandmother in the Northeast, the most family-friendly inn in the Northeast! Family life with grandma and other people at the inn has always been top notch, the true meaning of an inn! Radiant conviviality that resonates even between guests, forming incredible friendships at breakfast and us in other areas of the inn. The beach is fantastic and very close to the guesthouse. Als Deutsch-brasilianer möchte ich die inn von Vovó Maria weiterempfehlen. Zweifelsohne die best guesthouse in Nordosten Brasiliens - in bester Lage, ein paar Meter von der praia. Der reale Feeling einer wirklichen inn! Family Werte werden gelebt! Grandma Maria ist die Oma der Oma! Sie hat in USA gelebt, spricht Englisch. Verwandte sprechen ebenfalls English. Als Nordosten-Reisender war die Praia do Francês, verbunden mit der Gastfreundlichkeit von Vovó Maria das Non-plus-Ultra um Nordeste.
