One of the receptionists with a Druze dialect is such a racist. This should never be acceptable. No human should be treated badly because they're African or Syrian or whatever let alone a customer and a tourist. generally acceptable hygiene but this place has nothing to do with customer service .

The hotel is within walking distance to city centre and most landmarks. What impressed me the most was the friendly and helpful staff . I had problems getting money from the bank machines. They did their best to help me. The atmosphere of the hotel is very good.

Friendly and convenient place in Beirut. The owner will help you giving suggestions and explaining the transportation system. Essential but clean.

The owner is so friendly. You can ask him about any think or order any thing and he will not refuse. The room is cozy and clean remembers me of my village. It's not luxury but i felt like I'm in my home. Thanks talal.

The owner and employee were so helpful and kind, the hostel is very cheap and close to the city centre. For something very cheap, we were in a room of three person, during very hot weather in August the room was so fresh and comfortable, it's very close to shop and Lebanese restaurant (very cheap by the way, when you are littlebit hungry event at midnight they are open), when you need to go to the North like Tripoli or Byblos, there is a station with bus or minibus with connection with these cities, it's also very close to some awesome roof top! We the cheapest option, you have public bath room they made it clean but of course you customers you have to respect the public rules to make everybody's life radier i had a good moment Here.

Hotel was and cozy and good value for $40 per night (double room with private bath) but had a few issues during my stay. Apparently the computer system broke down and my reservation was initially misplaced and my pick up from the airport (at 2:20am) was a no show. And when I arrived at the hotel, it was locked up. I had to buzz and wake someone up. Also, in my email booking I was given the price of $40 per night but at check out was almost charged $45 per night (which is apparently the correct current price). However, these issues were dealt with quickly by the manager and he apologized for the mix up. I think normally this place is well run and the location is great. The manager is also helpful with describing cheap ways of traveling around Lebanon of buses and will write destinations and maps with Arabic names so you can show bus drivers who don't always speak English.

I mean...just don't go to this hostel if you want to enjoy your holiday. Yes it is cheap, but the owner is a really terrible people. Fellow female travelers reported to be sexual harassed by the owner, and it was not a single case. The owner know literally JUST money, as you will find the wifi is not free and the toilet....yes you need to mop it by yourself after bathing. Another thing quite terrible is the owner has no integrity at all--almost impossible to pay the same amount as showing on the booking website. Really recommend to find another place to stay--here just damage your whole holiday!!!!!

Nice hotel (hostel). from Beirut Airport to reach hostel is very easy and just mini bus USD$ 1.00 only. very clean and peace. located in Downtown city. We meet many travellers and tourist coming to this hostel from around the world. value for money just per night USD $12 only. one hour free wifi. safe place. check in and check out time is flexible. from this hostel we can buy water 2lr and juice very normal price they are not charging much more. For Lebanon visit Talal Hotel is very best place to stay and safe place and price also good. my best wishes to all staffs. best regards, Ramses Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
