I really enjoyed my visit. My if you're from out of town. It's a must see historical site. It's very clean. My only disappointment was my chicken pieces were too small. For the 16 pieces of chicken I ordered they only gave me two breast.

Fries was bitter and old like it was for 3 days ago. The chicken we ordered was kind of alive . The biscuit in the box was in half like somebody bite it before putting it into the box . Everything was really terrible.

it's not the 1952 original that still stands but this 1963 KFC is cool to see

It's a KFC,, But the nicest KFC I've ever been to. Super clean! Very friendly staff. The menu is the same and I stick with reg recipe chicken or the Nashville Hot sandwich or tenders. Definitely the nicest and biggest Kentucky fried chicken I've ever been. And apparently it's famous for the Huge chicken that the building sits under/inside. A must try place..

I order 2 large family meals. Service was fast and friendly. Great experience! I would recommend this location! It's a huge Chicken 🐔! Gotta love it!

Sweet KFC! Very unique building 😁 lots of seating indoor and outdoor options. They even have a screened in outdoor room. Fountain machines were out of Pepsi and mountain dew options, but everything else was great! 🤷 Nice dine In option.

I will say, for a long day of work or taking your kids to do all kinds of stuff this place is perfect for chilling and eating delicious food. Most people live Chick-fil-A but to me this place is better because there chicken is mouthwatering and there biscuits are incredible. Very much recommend!!!

I have not eaten KFC in probably a decade or more. Decided to see what The Big Chicken was all about. The atmosphere was worth the stop alone, and the Nashville hot strips (dipped in BBQ sauce) was delicious! Interesting that a 5 piece meal with drink, fries and biscuit is cheaper than 6 strips entree only. BTW, the green beans are significantly better than I remember eating as a kid on Sunday after church!

I've always wanted to come here. I finally made it. The bathrooms are very clean. The staff is very nice. This location is something to see. If you are in Georgia you must stop by.

Bad experience. If you can’t field a team to work properly, that’s fine, but don’t open your doors. You had three disinterested employees working and gave me the driest 8 piece I’ve ever had. You should close for a day or two during the week. It will make your customers want it more.

After several minutes of standing at the counter we were greeted and asked for our order. I know that most businesses are suffering staff shortages these days, so I don't mind waiting patiently. The dining room certainly needed attention as you can see in my pictures. There was trash scattered about all across the floor, too. They were out of crispy chicken today; our last visit it was a different item. Our order was completed in a reasonable amount of time and the food was good, and hot. We go to the Big Chicken about once a month because it's a special treat for our little grandchildren.

Fun, old school road side attraction! The big chicken has a moving mouth and eyes and we had fun taking pictures with it. Inside, is an upscale KFC and also has several photo op places to take pics. Food was good and restaurant was clean. A fun time!

The big mechanical chicken was really cool, and the KFC food was decent. I got the big box meal and bought a couple of souvenirs while we were there. The only reason this isn't a 5 star review is because both of their drink machines were down, and the service was good but not great like other destination chain restaurants I've been to.

The BIG CHICKEN really IS BIG!! Seems that its also a really BIG deal 'round these parts'. So BIG, in fact, that there is BIG CHICKEN 🐔 memorabilia, ya'll. I kid you not. I travel quite a bit, and its always the local unadvertised places that are the coolest. Or the oddest, even. I posted Pics . Gave 4 🌟. Took one 🌟 for the long wait on the food

First of all, the bathroom was dirty and whoever the employee was in there was in there entirely too long. Second, the skin on the chicken wings wasn’t even hard nor crunchy. It was mushy, undone and cold. I wanted tenders, the cashier didn’t give me a time he just said it would be awhile. The waffle was ok. I’m highly disappointed.

Great nostalgic landmark. Great spot to meet up with people that you know, that aren't familiar with the area. Might as well grab some classic KFC chicken while you're here too. Consistent high health and safety scores makes this the best KFC location in North Georgia!!!

The food was great. Original chicken was actually original. They were quite short handed due to employees not showing up. The young gentleman that was there besides the manager was Awesome! He was running around trying his hardest to make Everyone happy! He was polite and a Very Good worker. He even deserved a tip and more as I had my 3 little grandkids with me. Next time I see him I will add to my measly 5.00 I left him!! Thank you!!!

Dining room was pretty dirty today on arrival and the bathroom had a horrible smell. I told the lady at the front counter about the issues and she just said okay.

This is the nicest KFC I have ever been too! Not only is the facility pristine and simply beautiful, the customer service is just as amazing. I had the liberty of being serviced by Angela who was very professional. My chicken sandwich was fresh, hot and crispy; in other words PERFECT!! This will be the only KFC that I recommend visiting

Ordered a kfc bowl received a cheese less bowl with barely any gravy and to top it off a hair as well. I have not had a kfc bowl since a child (I’m 22 so maybe 10 years ago). So much for going here for a nostalgic experience. Never eating KFC again , I could’ve went the rest of my life without experiencing that.

The customer service is great and this is one of the few KFC’s that actually taste like the original recipe! This being a national landmark location definitely represents the brand well.

Bro the food was okay, why was there a long hair in my mashed potatoes and a live ant in my sister's cup? Trying to sneak extra protein or something? Made me kinda queasy, probably won't try here again. The large historical chicken made me kinda happy and excited to eat here, but man...

the working taking the order was very rude and was rushing me. very unprofessional they also never have fries and made me wait for 10 mins. I do not recommend anyone go to this KFC

Yes I went all the way to Marietta just for the big chicken. It's just a normal KFC though food was actually pretty good. Clean restaurant, and clean restrooms. Plus photo ops to boot.

This area's notable landmark, The Big Chicken is a KFC with a big chicken and its eyes spinning. Kind of hard to miss this place because of how big this chicken is. I would enjoy watching that chicken spin his eyes from afar whenever I come to this part of town. I was meeting up with someone and tried their chicken wrap while waiting and it was delicious.

This Landmark not only impresses with its appearance and unique attraction of the giant big chicken with the moving beak but when you walk inside it's like a mini museum. Complimented with great food and great service. Very roomy and we've never been in here when it's loud and crazy or uncomfortable such a wonderful place. The staff does well and the food is consistently good. It definitely need to stop and check out this landmark.

Raw biscuits, ordered crispy chicken and got original and girl refused to fix it .. the biscuits will make you sick . They are raw inside. Horrendous service.. will be doing chargeback as i did not receive what was ordered

I had asked for 12 meal with 10 legs and 2 chicken breast . What ended up with was 8 legs and 3 chicken thighs 11 pieces. Waited extra 10 minutes for biscuits that should have stayed in oven longer because they were under done. Manager at location was very nice and costumer friendly. That is why I gave it 2 stars. 36 minutes to drive back is to long. 1 hour and 12 minutes round trip.

I enjoy the outside patio. Very busy intersection fun to watch some of characters drive. Don't mind the young cashier she's a little hard of hearing. So you might need to repeat yourself often.

It's pretty cool to see the big chicken. The eyes and beak articulate, which kinda weirded me out. Inside there is a statue of Harlan Sanders and there are some historical photographs on the walls as well.

Nice to be able to sit & eat (dine in). The dining area of the restaurant is nice. Only about two or three people there at that time. Customer service was fine as well. I enjoyed my time there.

Big Chicken to me is a historic site in Marietta Georgia. A place to eat country fried chicken. This place has a museum inside. Due to Covid-19, you purchase your meal at the drive through. I usually don’t give a one star however the service was terrible. I ordered a three piece meal, only two peace’s of chicken in the box. 1 napkin and no flatware. If the place is busy. I would be more compassionate. I was the only one in the drive through. My advise is, before you leave the drive through check your order!! I definitely will not be back.

We drove past this huge moving chicken many times but this is the first time dining here. It was a great experience thanks to the beautiful layout, unique decoration of KFC’s icons but especially the pleasant and professional service offer by Mr.Carlton. The restaurant and parking area are spotless clean.

Honestly subpar. Place was relatively clean. Got the spicy chicken sandwich with Mac and cheese. They kinda drowned my sandwich with too much sauce, but oh well it wasn't too bad. Wasn't in favor of the Mac and cheese, maybe the consistency or the taste but it was off. Some of the drinks in the drink machine were out. Overall wasn't terrible but it wasn't the best.

The hispanic lady at the drive-thru may not need to work the drive-through due to a language barrier. She has no clue what I was asking her or trying to order. She just assumed I wanted four single sides when, in reality, I wanted larger sides. I tried to explain, but she still didn't get it. She only understood the word "side."

This is the ONLY KFC you need in your life. All others do not compare in Food Quality, Friendly Employees, and Cleanliness. Highly Recommend.

Took my granddaughters and they love the big bird that move the eyes and mouth. The food was real good the place was very nice with lots of pictures. Love it!

It's a pretty typical KFC except for the craft soda taps, the big chicken merch, and of course the building itself. The staff here are good at what they do and super friendly. This is a must stop if you're passing by on I-75

Sometimes they are a little slow and get your order wrong, but overall the food is great and the environment is awesome. This is by far the classiest KFC I've been to, if that such a thing. You can tell they had a good interior designer because it really has the design of a flagship store. I personally love the outside of patio. If you are from out of town there are some we good photo opportunities and there is always unique t-shirts and other souvenirs .

This is a very nice KFC and a very cool looking building. They have facts about sanders on the walls in the rest room, pictures of the building in the old days, and a freestyle Pepsi machine. I was excited to see voltage in this machine. I put the ice in my cup and select voltage on the screen. Then, I pressed the button. The liquid started pouting into my cup and it was green!!! That is not voltage! That is regular dew and I don't drink that. I was so excited about voltage because it is so hard to find right now. Other than that I have no complaints about the big chicken.

Visited on Sun 9/26/21 @ 5:20pm & by far the WORSE experience to the Big Chicken. This place SHOULD just close it's doors. Between the employees & the Chicken, just deplorable. First of all, the young guy @ the register had NO clue what he was doing, ringinalg up WRONG food(choices, sides & drinks). Watched MANY customers SHORTED orders,, MISSING items.. And a FEW just PLAIN WALK OUT.. Mgr. even addressed this several times. Chicken, IF that's what you want to call it were the the tiniest pcs, we EVER saw( which was from Carrollton). We've seen BABY chick's BIGGER than they were serving. WHERE'S THE CHICKEN?? I know..I know, it's Covid..or everyone assumes. Quality & Quantity goes down, while the Price goes up! I'd been ASHAMED to of served that. Between the drumette leg & the thigh in my 2pc dinner, the total of meat on both averaged a tiny thigh.(for $5.99 + tax-- come on now). Was SUPPOSED to of been Krispy-the thigh MIGHT of been abt 12 noon. NOT SURE WHAT IT WAS, leg was ORIGINAL..GO FIGURE..Husband order the 3pc Tender Box-ALL 3 together, made 1. Here again, Quality & Quantity--NON EXSTIENT! WE asked for UNSWEET Tea as the Drink, the young guy @ the counter looked as if THAT might be something "FOREIGN". Low & Behold, you guessed it..it was "SWEET" tea(terrible as it was). The guy went to the Drive-THRU to get it- ONLY SWEET tea in the drink section.. My husband is Diabetic & CAN'T have sugar & I DON'T use it. YOU COULD PUT A DIABETIC IN A COMA DOING THAT..REALLY?? ESPECIALLY with the amount of sugar that was in that.. BOTH went back to the counter to COMPLAIN abt being given SWEET tea., where we were told "WE DON'T HAVE ANY UNSWEET TEA". Hmmm..COULDN'T we of been told that upon ordering?? Guess that DIDN'T dawn on them. Takes the SAME amount of time to make unsweet tea-all a matter of which button you push on the machine. 2 meals $12.70, might NOT seem a "BIG DEAL" to some people, BUT when you WORK HARD for your MONEY & ALL this takes place..it is "A DEAL BREAKER". We have lived in the area 38yrs & visited/enjoyed "THE BIG CHICKEN". KFC & THE CITY OF MARIETTA, SHOULD OF KEPT THE PLACE A LANDMARK BUILDING-BUILDING ONLY!! NO FOOD! TOTAL! TOTAL DIASTER. WON'T GET ANOTHER CHANCE WITH US AFTER ALL THESE YRS. CLOSE DOWN-REGROUP WITH BETTER EMPLOYEES WHO CARE & KNOW ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE, & FIND SUPPLIERS WHO WON'T RIP YOU OFF IN YOUR STANDARDS OF FOOD PRODUCTS. Also, MIGHT want to clean the bathrooms & have paper towels available.

Fun to eat in this iconic restaurant, however, the food is just plain old KFC - nothing special. And tonight they were short staffed, so we waited a very long time for our food and they eventually locked the doors and only served the drive-through. Poor management. In addition, what staff that were there were not that pleasant.

This is a very interesting place. There's alot of information about KFC. I was suggested to visit this place the last time I was in town. It's worth a visit.
