Great steak for an affordable price. The ambiance was simple with good service to compliment. The steaks were mouth watering and the fries were amazing.

This French steak and fries restaurant has been around for years but I visited it for the first time. Unassuming exterior but serious with customer service, food and keeping it affordable. Kudos to the boss, who was at the restaurant serious at work and giving advice to staff about customer service. They were celebrating 7th anniversary with an incredible price for set meal. For about $40 you get a huge portion of heavenly garlic bread (one of the best I have had), steak (which I upgraded with a top up), free flow of fries and salad, ice cream, waffle, brownie and an espresso coffee! Set meal for two includes a fondue (ladies’ fav) as well. Will return with my lady soon!

Went to Brasero with one of my friends and the experience was amazing. Food was 10/10, the atmosphere was amazing and the service was divine. Staff were so kind and helpful and would definitely DEFINITELY come back!! everyone HAS to come here to try out their $30 steak! it's a value for money without scrimping out on quality

Even though it's free flow fries and vegetables, they definitely don't skip on the quality of those. The fries are really good and you can tell effort has been put to it. The steaks are highly affordable and overall it's a place where you will leave stuffed and satisfied. Great balance of value, taste and experience

A decent steak for the price it is offered. Ordered the 300gm piece of ribeye cooked medium rare and it was spot on. The meat also includes a free flow of fries and lettuce. The fries although really soggy were surprisingly tasty. Service was pretty good and quick. The lava cake with a scoop of vanilla ice cream was delicious.

Tasty steaks and nice waitstaff, nice selection of beers with happy hour options if that’s your jam! Nice selection of beers from around the world in bottles. No option for mushroom or peppercorn sauce on the side of the steak, they did include a pepper cream sauce while nice, it was too a little too sweet to be a steak sauce. Can get very loud upstairs while busy, not recommended for talking conversation over dinner.

Ordered a combo meal, the entrees are above average, we took burrata and Camembert. The main dish mixed grill set was very good, we ask for medium, and it is cook to what we had expected. The most impressive is the desserts, the brownie and the Nutella waffle was surprisingly good. However one thing I don’t like is the height of the chair, seem to be lower and quite uncomfortable.

Started with Camembert rôti and the standard was set high. Then came the steak and the handmade fries. Handmade fries taste nature sweet. Services was excellent and fries will never be empty.

Awesome food, service and atmosphere for a family dinner. Set meal for 2 was great and meat was done perfectly the way you want it. Kids love the free flow fries and the crew went all out to impress the kids. Will definitely be back.

Great food at reasonable prices. Steaks were cook perfectly while the sides came in generous quantities. Unfortunately, the kids meal tenderbites were dry. Dessert was chocolate lava that oozed out delightly and not too rich.

Visited them on a Wednesday was pleasantly surprised when they gave a glass rose wine for free as it was ladies night. Loved the concept of free flow fries and salad. They nailed the doneness of steak perfectly as well. Atmosphere is nice but it gets difficult to hold a conversation as the restaurant gets crowded and bigger dining groups tend to contribute to the noise level. Service staff were very attentive and helpful. Will gladly visit again. Well done!

Been hearing a lot of hype about this place so decided to try it out. The steak is frankly mid but the fries are really good and addictive. They are free-flow as well (along with the salad) which is great! Plus the staff are super attentive in asking if I needed refills. The steak is of low quality but for a price tag of $25 can’t complain too much.

Visited for Friday night dinner. Walked in but recommend to book the spot cuz it's bustling! Affordable tasty steak (200g for 23.90 with fries and salad) and cozy ambience! The staffs are really attentive and kind and professional. Definitely a place to have a little French kinda night.

The food, price and service here were quite reasonable and overall was enjoyable until we were surprised by a female staff, she did nothing when our table was occupied by a big plate with less food on it but she wanted to serve the bigger plate with mixed meat platter, she asked us to move the unfinished food from the big plate to the little one. That was actually the first time I met this kind of service in the fine dinning restaurant in Singapore Other than this, we generally love this one but due to poor service, I guess we won't come again in a short time.

Awesome dining experience. Ivy is very attentive to details; high in both IQ and EQ, always proactive in serving us and very knowledgeable about the food menu, alcohol menu etc. We were freely able to choose our seat, given ample time to slowly have our dishes without hurry or stress. Ending off with the Calvados made our evening so complete. Thanks Braseiro for the memorable dining experience. Kudos to the chef, the Spanish pork chop was PERFECTLY (pork smell free) crispy and juicy! The ribeye was medium, well charred and not too bloody. There was extra dessert to surprise me apart from the desert in our dinner course. Been so long to have found another dining gem in SG - this is the one.

Marvelous restaurants with very high quality food. Fondue de Camembert is highly recommended with unlimited bread supply, the steak is very tender and juicy with a surprise amount Fries. Lava cake is excellent. A must try restaurant.

Service was good and prompt. The steak was delicious and decently priced. They also had different size portions available. I enjoyed their free flow fries and salad too. The location was easier to get to by bus where it was a short walk from a nearby bus stop. The restaurant was not too crowded on a weekday evening and they took reservations.

This came a little late but I wanted to take a moment to express our appreciation for the exceptional dining experience on 29 Dec. We got the 4 persons set meal. The appetizers we ordered were great. Food was quite valued for money. Wine was better than expected, and the service level was commendable. Kelvin’s attentive and friendly service contributed significantly to our overall dining experience. From adjusting the aircon level to extending our table space so we could fine in more comfortably due to the amount of food we ordered that filled our table, to providing us a complimentary dessert for our friend’s birthday celebration made our dining experience a memorable one. It would be wonderful if the steaks are more tender and fries are crisper! Thank you for delivering a dining experience that goes beyond expectations.

Nice service.. seeing that I’m pregnant they suggested where I should be seated to be more comfortable. And gave us 2 tables ( 4 seaters) for 2 of us, so it’s more spacious for us. We ordered the 2 person set meal which is 84.90 ++. Generous amount of food and left the restaurant feeling satisfied and very full!

Chanced upon this place after gym and had a nice and casual night here. Friendly team of staffers. We ordered Burrata for starters and Ribeye and Burger for mains. Added Raclette cheese to my burger for an additional $4 which added a nice smokiness to my burg. It was an okay experience but some dishes were far too greasy for my liking. Fries became soggy, cold and oily in a quick minute. Burrata could have been fresher and I thought the tomatoes wasn’t too sweet to elevate the burrata. Still had a good night nonetheless and you definitely get quite a bang for your buck for the price point here.

food was amazing, really enjoyed their camembert roti (bread was amazing btw, fresh crispy and fluffy in the middle) and the mains were cooked just right. not forgetting the free flow fries, slightly greasy but still great. definitely will come back again, very pleased!

Went for lunch. Had the set for 4 persons. Chose beef rib eye steak. Also had a glass of cote du Rhône. Upper floor had air conditioning. Different from the New York city dry aged steak I had a few days ago. But it’s good.

Awesome place for some steaks and fries. Reasonable pricing for restaurant dining. Staffs are courteous. Calamari is the frozen type from supplier so that didn’t sit well with me. The rest of the food was acceptable.

The food was exceptionally good and it’s considered affordable for the kind of food we ordered. The set meal for two is quite value worth. Very suitable for a date or family gathering. Absolutely love the free flow fries and salad!

Saw the review of this restaurant on social media so decided to give it a try. The place is very small with just a handful of tables. Could get a little noisy with full crowd. Make reservation before going to avoid disappointment. Home made fries tasted fresh. Even though its free flow but the initial serving was so generous that we did not ask for refills. We decided to try the 4 pax platter for 3 of us. A good selection with the platter. The ribeye was too charcoal-y for our liking. We actually prefer the beef skewers. Duck breast and sausages were delicious. Pork chop was so-so. It's a shame the food became cold too fast otherwise we would enjoyed it more. Staff service was excellent and attentive.

It's been a long time since my last perfect beef steak! Although our beef doneness was just a bit different (medium and medium rare) they did it to perfection! I totally loved my beef doneness. Wine was good, sides just amazing! Not too sure about the fries but well everything just shone!

Hubs made a reservation but I guess we went on a Monday afternoon, it was quite empty, only had another couple dining in. Staff was prompt in providing us with the menu and told us about the lunch set (appetizer x1, mains x2, dessert x1). Food were also served promptly, probably cos it was not crowded at all. Ordered steaks for both, one 200g and one 400g. Both medium rare and it was cooked to the doneness we requested. The steaks were really tender and juicy! Appetizer was calamari and mozza sticks. The mozza sticks were really nice, didn't taste like frozen store-bought ones. Calamari was normal. Dessert was waffle w Nutella and topped w vanilla ice cream. Pretty normal. We parked at the parallel parking lot by the roadside, to us it's gonna be difficult to find a lot if all the parallel parking lots.

Still excellent as always. One of my most favourite steak and fries place! And to me, the fries is definitely the highlight. The thing about the fries is, if you ar e looking for crispy, look elsewhere, if you look for amazing taste of the real sweetness of the perfectly cooked potato, this is the place! Staff are super friendly and courteous. Even when they are clearly short handed, they still took great care of me.

The Ribeye steak was excellent at its price point. The staff were generally very friendly. However, the service was a bit too slow especially when we asked for replenishment of the bread for the Fondue de Camembert . It took so long to arrive where the Cheese already hardened. The background music was way too loud to our liking.

What a beautiful gem hidden in Joo Chiat. We stumbled upon this place & immediately were captivated by the warm , cozy atmosphere. Being Vegetarian didn’t stop me from walking in and was more surprised by finding a plant based burger option ( my experience was complete) The food was really amazing, my husband tried the steak which was fantastic and the prices are really good. The highlight of our night was our host , PK, who couldn’t stop smiling from the moment he saw us . Made me understand how the place has such a positive energy. A must try! Was packed on a Monday night for a reason.

Been here multiple times over the past couple of years and this place has evolved from a well-kept secret / hidden gem in Joo Chiat to one of the more popular restaurants (be sure to make a reservation). If you’re not sure what to get, just go for the classic steak frites option and you won’t regret. While presentation might look simple, steak is full of flavour and temperature is just right. Fries are unlimited too, and just so tasty and addictive.

Ordered the set for 4. The bread and Camembert was awesome. So was the tomato and burrata, the sauce (seems like balsamic vinegar) is a good accompaniment. Less 1 star for soggy fries, which was a disappointment for the boys as they like crispy fries. We did not get a refill of their free flow fries. Also, I took the skewers and ordered it medium rare. However the meat was almost rare, with the inner portion mainly raw. Due to the cut used, it was too chewy. Only ate 3 out of 5 cubes. Service overall was good. We sat on the 2nd floor so it was a little hard to get attention. But the lady serving us was cheerful and quick in her service with our requests.

Excellent service from Ivy and the team! I came here on a Saturday night with my brother and my grandmother, one hour ahead of our reservation and they kindly accommodated us. They noticed my grandma and took a chair out for her to sit on while we were waiting for a table, and also made special arrangements to allow my grandma to sit on the lower floor (she had mobility issues). Kudos to the passionate service team. Steak was alright but the homemade fries were phenomenal. Would like to come back to try other mains.

The food was immaculate and bussin. The beef we ate were unequivocally the best. While chewing onto the beef, the juice oozed out and the taste was mouth-watering. It was almost as if the beef were melting in my mouth. The free flow fries did not fall short of my expectation. It was crispy and very flavorful. To add on to the joy, the service here was astonishing. The staff here were all attentive to our needs and were so friendly and warm to us. A must visit place

Had a great night out with my hubby at this restaurant. Impromptu google search for must eat at katong and this restaurant appear. Live up to the numerous good reviews. Services were good! we were recommended a good wine which paired well with our steak and lamb sausage (superb juicy). 😋 love the burrata and cheese fondue too. We underestimated the dessert as it's described as waffer with vanilla icecream and kidder Bueno but it was a bomb with the dessert wine... 40% alcohol content 🤣🤭. The total bill is $220 which is super affordable for such good meal. I will definitely be back with my family !

We ordered steak medium rare, and it was perfectly executed. And we loved the fries, which were chewy and skin on (rare find these days). If I wasn’t on a diet, we would’ve ordered more fries to go with the conversation as we were saving each and every bite of the steak!

A very hospitable restaurant: we had a Valentine’s Day set and it was a really good affordable set. Apart from the tasty and well cooked meat, they give you free flow of fries and salad which is just awesome. The service staff there were just the best and most friendly! Very well cooked juicy steak with free flow fries and salad. Was too hungry to take more photos but really loved how the steak was done. The set meals here makes it a more value for money option. We picked the burrata cheese with chocolate brownie which is amazing.

Staff were helpful in changing our seats upstairs as the air con was spoilt. They were also flexible & kind to extend our time a little for us to celebrate a sister's special occasion. Steak was great & food was great too (except for burrito - not soft & dark chocolate brownie), chocolate lava was 😋. A pity it was a little too rush to consume as they closes at 3pm. Nevertheless, they assisted in packing and takeaways. Looking forward to head back:)

My first visit for dinner. Though it is a small place, it has two levels and adequate tables. Service was fast and staff friendly. Menu is not complicated and explains all choices clearly. We went for the set menu for 2 pax. It consist of one appetiser, 2 mains and I dessert. Fries and salad on free flow basis. The food was very good and portions adequate. Good place for steaks. Prices reasonable.

Great ambience with great service crew, but the food unfortunately didn't live up to the expectation. Pork chop was overcooked and very dry. Duck was undercooked. Lava cake was dry and the lava didn't flow out, as my daughter put it, Saizeriya has better lava cake, unfortunately I do have to agree. Brownie wasn't too bad. Would I come back again? Probably no. Came here to try and to celebrate my princess birthday.

Nice place for steak. The steak is good, the beef skewers are equally good as well. The lamb merguez and pork chops are not bad as well. Quite juicy and well grilled. Chicken drumstick for apps is a good option to have before starting on mains. Ended the meal with a lava cake and a chocolate mousse desserts. Both desserts are well made. They are both sweet but not too sweet. Beers are at a promotional happy hour rate of Buy 3 free 1. Last but not least, this place is famous for its unlimited of fries and salad with every main course ordered. We did not ordered refills as we were good with the rest of the food. The entire dinner experience there is wonderful thanks to the attentive and friendly staff. They were patient and answered our queries clearly. Thank you!

Was a lovely dinner experience at Braseiro. There was a 2 pax meal which included a starter, 2 mains and a dessert. For $84.90++, I think the food quantity was great, quality of the steak was good and done at medium-rare like we ordered. The burger is a must try! Best of all, the fries are re-fillable. We went for the dessert of the day which was French crepe with fresh whipped cream, Nutella, raspberry jam with biscoff crumbs, light and nice end to the meal. There's also a nice deal on 2 pints of Stella Artois for $24. Highly recommend for a nice date night.😉

My partner and I visited last weekend and food was amazed at not only the quality of the food but also the service. We had a wonderful Experience. This is easily one of if not the best meal we’ve ever eaten with this price of $24.90 with 200g Entrecôte and Fries and salad. Such a warm and welcoming environment ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The fries are amazing. Slightly soggy, and just fried enough with a bit of skin. One of the best fries you'll have anywhere. The service is also good, wait staff was friendly and nice. The mains were decent, definitely a reasonable price for it. Dessert I felt was a little lacking, but it was still okay.
