Visited Ten spot for the very first time. The place is really clean. Staff are really friendly and professional. I did waxing and quick pedi , the services were good , waxing was done delicately and aesthetician kept asking me if i was comfortable. I however find it very expensive , for this price i was expecting free beverages , silk robes etc lol they only gave me a small towel to cover chest area , they should provide robes or atleast a bigger towel. Receptionist was in a rush to close and was asking everyone to pay before services are over ( not ideal for tipping) . She did ask nicely and said that it will be more convenient for me to pay ahead so that i can just leave once i m done but who are we kidding , its closing time and honey u wanna go home lol but that's not super big deal. Overall good service , aesthetician was great but overpriced and was rushed

The ten spot is a nice little salon on Mainstreet Markham. Place was very clean and modern. Staff was professional and very nice. They did a great job with shaping my nails. However, the problem lies in either the shellac polish they use or the application process. Just after 2 days, my polish started chipping off on a couple of fingers. They have a 7day guarantee so I went back for a touch up. They were super nice about it and did a good job with redo-ing the chipped ones. I would’ve given them a 5star rating if my polish didn’t chip so easily (when it was meant to last for 2+ weeks).

After a not good experience, Alyssa (manager) reached out and went above and beyond to fix it. I just had my replacement mani and my nails, done by Janet, look terrific and I’m so happy with the service. I appreciate them making this right!

Not my usual place for nails, but since I got a gift card i decided to try them out. Appointment took an hour for shellac nails. After my nails were done and I was at the POS, I noticed the coating was uneven. The lady that did my nails was new there, so I decided to ask the lady who seemed more experienced. She looked at my nails and agreed parts of my nail where the nail polish was applied too thin. She offered to do a touch up on the spot but since I was in the rush, we decided that I'll come back after my vacation to do the touch up. So based of passed shellac manicures I have done, they should last 2-3 weeks. 3 hours after my appointment a corner of the nail polish was already coming off. Within a week, a quarter of the nail polish on my thumb was peeling. A week and a half in 4 out of 10 nails no longer had any polish. At week 2 only 6 of 10 nails are completely bare, 2 of the 10 are half bare. Leaving only 2 fingers with still nail polish on. I have been on vacation with not needing to do any dishes or cleaning, shellac nails should have lasted longer than they have. Huge disappointment since I wanted nice nails on my vacation. And I haven't taken vacation in years. There is no point going back for touch up now. Can't exactly touch up bare nails.

My 1st time waxing at the 10 spot. The place looks fancy and nice. For the price they charged I expected a better service. The towel they gave me had stains on it. The quality of the wax was bad. More than 50 percent of the air were not removed at all. Where ever I go for waxing they try to remove all the hair by using a better quality. When I complained, they didn't offer any discount or anything . This was my 1st and last time at this location. I have to pay again at a different place to get this done. I have to add that after almost 6 hours of procedure, my skin is still red and itchy.

This is my second visit (sadly, the first brow appointment didn't go well), so I gave it another chance. Despite the very friendly staff, I'm dissatisfied with my service. The type of lighting they have above you during the procedure made it hard to see my brows clearly; so they seemed fine when checking right after they were waxed, ..but at home, I noticed they're uneven, thinly shaped in the front, and wider in the middle/ends – resembling cousins rather than sisters. “Your eyebrows are sisters, not twins.” I’ll need to attempt to even them out and have them uniformed by thinning out the middle/ends, then sadly I’ll be rocking the sharpie brow look for a few weeks. Unfortunately, I will not be coming back here for brows, but maybe other services? Dont know yet.

Very clean, technicians are professional and respectful. They do a great job and use quality products. Harriette and Ana are great. A little pricier than lot of the "plaza" nail places. But worth it to me for those reasons. Wish they offered nail designs and decorative stones.

Both times I was there was good my pedicure and today my back wax

I had scheduled an express mani/pedi, but unfortunately was 10 minutes late due to traffic so only could do one service. I still had to wait for them to set up though. Gayle was great and the place is very clean. My nail polish didn't last by the time I got home and I booked the pedicure for the next morning in the hopes of getting a quick fix, but they had to cancel my appointment which was disappointing. As a first time customer, not sure if I'm impressed enough to go back.

I was really excited to try the ten spot because of all the services they offer in house. After walking in, I had a great first impression as everyone was very lovely and professional. Customer service is definitely 4 stars. I am giving two stars because the length of time to complete the manicure did not result in good quality manicure. The Polish was uneven and textured and I have never had this happen before at any place. I appreciate that the technician noticed that I was unhappy with the manicure, however I do feel an offer to fix it could have gone a little further rather than being given the reason of something along the lines of "some colours do this, it could also be your nails." (I suggested that more time should have been spent on buffing the nails if this was noticed not waiting until the manicure was completed). The Polish along the cuticles could have been done smoother, lines along the edges of my nails were uneven. Really wanted to love this spot, but with this as a first impression I don't think I'll try it again sadly.

The cleanest nail salon I've been to. Technicians were friendly, attentive and welcoming. Highly recommend! My daughter and I had a great experience. We were served by Anna Maria and Diana!

I got my first Brazilian wax done by Diana and I absolutely loved the service. She was very knowledgeable and made me feel very comfortable. The service was quick as well which is a plus . I enjoyed my waxing would definitely be visiting again. Thank you Diana!!!!!!

This was a disappointing experience. Pedicure was not what I wanted in design and got lumpy almost immediately. Really before I reached the car parked just across the street. Gel mani was a bust. Again design was not good and it peeled off 3 1/2 nails less than 1 week after getting them done. Eyebrow wax was good. Probably won’t be back unless I’m looking for a wax.

The team at The Ten Spot Markham are so warm and welcoming. Shani created the most beautiful nail art on my daughter's nails, which I arranged as a birthday gift. Thank you to Shani! You made Jazmin so happy.

4th time using their services, and I always feel amazing afterward! Plus it stays off for quite some time! will definitely be my go to place from now on!
