I ordered the Mixed Shawarma Plate on Uber Eats for $23 plus tax, and received something that looked like it was put together by my 3 year old. I suggest you stick to small businesses for shawarma plates/sandwiches. You’ll receive better quality, better tasting food, and they provide tahini and hot sauce which you don’t get here. All for a fraction of the price.

Went for dinner with a group of 8, enjoyed everything. Their hummus and fresh bread that keeps coming was the highlight. We ordered a BBQ platter for the table and a beef shawarma, it was enough for us. Very friendly staff, will be visiting again for sure.

Staff are friendly, the restaurant is spacious and is above average, price is fair. Only the window need to be clean, lot of staind. Other than that, we are happy.

Lovely staff, great food. Never disappoints. It was my husband's bday today and they surprised us with a cake and sweet bday song. Thanks a lot for making his day!

The service and food were terrible. The server didn’t even wanna fill water for us until we asked them to do so. And we found a curved hair in our French fries, it was so disgusting. The mixed combo was terrible too, it doesn’t taste very good. It was absolutely an unpleasant experience.

Our family's top restaurant in the GTA to dine-out for several years. No compromise on quality for authentic taste of middle eastern cuisine, quality of service is superb, staff are polite, accommodating. Happiest memory at the Markham location where Manal served me and my family for a spectacular birthday party dinner, making for a unforgettable family reunion.

Nice place with an interesting atmosphere. The servers were nice and helpful. It was the first time that I tried Kafta kabab which comes with 2 skewers but I ordered an additional skewer. The portion is quite enough for one person. Still is one the best places for Middle Eastern taste. I just give 4stars for the quality of the Kabab which can help them make more progress. 😀

Love paramount and their authentic food. The shawarma plates are super delicious. Their Lamb Chops are easily the best I've had in a while. The customer service at this location is exceptional and staff is very nice and accommodating.

Had dinner here for the first time. The food was average and meat was too dry to eat. The shawarma was also dry and there wasn’t much sauce in it.

Im disappointed with the level of quality of food this branch has reached, especially when it’s your food and culture. I ordered a Saj tableiyeh chicken and beef. Both dishes came with regular pita bread instead of saj. How do you justify charging $18 for a regular shawarma sandwich sold elsewhere at half the price. Adding fries doesn’t justify the cost at all. I tried caking the restaurant and asked to speak to the manager to clarify and I was put on hold for 15 minutes before I hanged up

Yesterday went for dinner with my wife, I like this spot as they have a room for prayers, there food is freshly prepared and the ambiance is good, the service is good, but I feel that the management need to add one more service provider on the shop floor so the things can move faster . The drink was good with lots of fruit and ice cream. The food is a bit pricy but enough in quantity 👍

I generally like the Paramount chain but this location dropped the ball this time. My wife got a halloumi salad takeout and this is what we got for $13… maybe don’t get salad from this location

We really like the food and flavours found at this middle eastern style restaurant. This location seems to be quite popular and last night the two servers were doing their best to keep up. They were both very nice and helpful and we made sure to tip accordingly. The food was amazing. Definitely recommend!

If you have kids and want a restaurant that is super family friendly, this is the place to go! I've been to this Paramount location a few times with my family. They offer kids meal, which my kids really enjoy. Also has a small indoor playground for kids to climb and play. The food is fresh, tasty and consistent. Service is friendly and thoughtful. The last time we went, to my kid's delight, our server even gave them a box of complimentary cookies. Would definitely recommend this place!

The shawarmas: (1.5 / 10) tastes dry and oily at the sametime and like its been cut in the morning and saved until a customer shows up. There is no correlation between the 15$ sandwich and shawarma, the meat/chicken must be cut and sandwiched right when the customer orders the food, you cutting the meat/chicken and storing it in a can until someone orders a sandwich will make it rubbery dry and oily and you did a good job selling me oily rubbery sandwich Kafta plate: (0/10) 2 skewers of spiced minced meat with parsley and some French fries, way over priced!!!! Not even close to kafta, and if u order it separately you would save money since 1 skewer kafta is like 7$ so u can order 2 skewers and fries for 15$ if you don't say the word plate !!! Chicken tawouk: (7.5/10) tawouk was an actual tawouk nothing special Lentil soup : (7/10) was okay Basically was a horrible experience! The tastiest thing was the ketchup, store was empty, paramount used to not be like that, usually you guys score the 9/10, I dunno what happened!! Poor menu

Our favorite restaurant for Middle Eastern cuisine in Markham. We started with the Hummus with Beef and had the Saj Tabliyeh Chicken Shawarma for our main course. In the past, we've always had the mixed BBQ platter, which is amazing. The starters come with freshly baked Pita Bread. The Saj Tabliyeh comes with garlic sauce and turnip pickles and is served with 🍟. The service at this restaurant has always been very friendly and prompt. You should definitely try this restaurant if you're craving some amazing Middle Eastern cuisine.

Food here is good. It really depends on the day. Some days its really good and other days not so much. The lack of consistency is why I decided not to give 5 stars. But the restaurant definitely has the potential for it. Hopefully the owners are able to get the food to be more consistently good.
