Just joined as a tennis member but can not play tennis. The club has signed out to external parties all but 3 courts every night of the week. The remaining courts get fully book 8 days out within minutes when they open them up for booking. Basically, they are selling tennis memberships without any court availability. Thought I would add a update to my review. The response provided by the company here was never followed up on. We have cancelled our membership. This was not done lightly. We discarded the initiation fee in less than one year. We feel it was the right decisions since we feel this group has a strategy of membership fee scraping and does not provide the value to promise. Thus not a organization we do not want to be associated with. There is a lot more I could share on our experience, but alas , buyer beware is the best advice.

A Disastrous Experience: Incompetence and Negligence at Mayfair Clubs Summer Camp My experience with Mayfair Clubs Summer Camp has been nothing short of a complete disaster. The level of incompetence and negligence displayed by this organization is deeply troubling and warrants serious attention. I reached out to Mayfair Clubs through email a week ago, requesting a simple time change for my son's camp, and to my disbelief, there was absolutely no response. It is unacceptable for a supposedly reputable summer camp to ignore its patrons in such a manner. In a desperate attempt to find answers, I called the camp's receptionist, only to be met with sheer incompetence. The receptionist was unable to locate anyone in charge, leaving me wondering if Mayfair Clubs Summer Camp is being run without any semblance of organization or responsibility. The complete lack of coordination and leadership within Mayfair Clubs is not only disappointing but also raises serious concerns about the safety and well-being of the children attending this camp. It is evident that Mayfair Clubs Summer Camp is failing to meet even the most basic standards of communication and operation. As a parent, I entrusted my child's summer experience to Mayfair Clubs, expecting professionalism and care. Instead, I have been met with a level of disregard that is utterly unacceptable. This review serves as a stark warning to other parents seeking a reliable summer camp. Mayfair Clubs has demonstrated a severe lack of commitment to its campers and their families, and I urge anyone considering this camp to think twice before making the same mistake I did. Mayfair Clubs must take immediate and drastic action to address these systemic issues and provide a comprehensive explanation for their failure to respond and operate efficiently. If not, it is clear that this organization is undeserving of the trust and responsibility placed upon them. This entire experience has been distressing, and I hope that my review serves as a wake-up call for Mayfair Clubs to rectify their shortcomings and put the well-being of their campers first.

If there is a ZERO star option, I will definitely choose that. My kids learn tennis there, apparently their staff Irene and Darryl don’t care the safety of kids. They don’t let me in to drop off my kids because of I am not member. They let my 5 years old daughter and 8 years old son waiting in the lobby without adults supervision. The funny thing is when my wife went back to talk to them they told my wife they didn’t let me in because I didn’t show them my vaccine certificate. I strongly recommend people not go there for any kids lesson especially if you have young children. Also, don’t go there if English is your second language or you are not “White”. Saw another review, front desk lady is racist, I think the manager is same.

I've been a member here for nearly 3 years. I've only decided to write this review after exhausting all means of having my issues rectified. I'm not unhappy with the facilities, however, the way the club is run in terms of schedule integrity and tennis court availability needs significant improvement. On weekdays between the hours of 430 and 730pm, there are a total of 54 cour hours available (18x3) yet only TWO of those hours are available for booking, with the rest all blocked for junior programs and TTA (non Mayfair programs). As for swimming programs, since thr appointment of an incompetent coordinator, my son's weekly private lessons had been interrupted with 2 instructor no shows, and multiple weeks of no lanes booked with students needing to squeeze in one lane. I have had multiple discussions with management about these issues but so far they remain unresolved. It is a good club in terms of facilities but it is a pity that the operations are poor presumably during to a lack of competition if one wants indoor court facilities under one roof. Response to court availability: Next week I will include a acreen capture of court availability since you insist on providing false information. Between the hours of 430 and 730 on weekdays, there are only 2 court hours available for casual play out of 54 court hours. The TTA programs are run out of East which has 10 of the 18 courts available but they are junior members not paying full fees like full members. Feel free to have Ken contact me to enlighten me of the court availabilities for weekdays 430 to 730pm going forward.

My family recently joined the club. So far we are extremely disappointed with the club. Here are some reasons: 1. the facilities are quite old and not well maintained. It is rusty in the women's change room near the pool; 2, One of the front desk ladies was quite rude (she may be racist since she treats different ethical background clients quite differently); 3, 2 out of 8 times that I went to the club for a fitness class last month, the classes were canceled without prior notification. the front desk staff could not and didn't even pretend to have an interest in providing some explanations; 4. the court reservation rule is very strict. The minute you booked, you cannot cancel no matter what (except if you're in a catastrophic situation, according to the front desk staff.) So if you book the court for next week today, but want to make slight changes, nope, you have to pay. 5. They charge you an extra $45 every time they "claim" that the payment to your credit card didn't go through and they have to try again... So good luck! Oh, yes, you have to sign up for a minimum of one year so too bad, no chance to cancel or switch so you'd better think twice before sign-on!

MEH. I signed up for the saltwater pool and lane to myself. However, after a year of membership, I didn't find that much of a difference between Mayfair and a local community centre. Maybe if you're involved in racquet activities it is, but I was in it for the pool. Between constant construction, the fire in the changeroom, changing staff and the ridiculous up front fees, the cost wasn't worth it. The pool is a little short, but nice when you get a lane all to yourself. In the summer, however, the temperature of the water remained too high for my taste, and felt like I was swimming in a bathtub. Ick. Not for me.

Mayfair is currently engaged in a fraudelent activity against its members like no other fitness club in Canada. Same as other clubs, Mayfair stopped operating on March 15 due to the pandemic, and up until now they have provided zero services except access to the tennis courts. No fitness, pool, sauna, jacuzzi, restaurant, basketball, squash, yoga, massage, personal trainers, showers, restaurant, no even access to locker rooms. At the same time, they’ve been charging FULL membership fee to all members. The word is that mastermind behind this fraudulent scheme is Melissa Raghura. CEO. Make sure to call her and demand your memership fee refund from March to August, as it’s been charged illegally. If enough people calls, perhaps the common sense prevails, and they provide the refund. Otherwise, stay tuned for class action lawsuit!

Please be aware: Tennis camp at this location means Tennis + Swimming and lots of other non related activities, including waiting in long lines to hit the ball for maximum 20 min ( if at all) in a half a day "tennis" program ( 4 hours). If you are looking for entertainment only, it may work... but please don't fall for the name of their programs. "Tennis camp" should be replaced by "Camp" or "daycare" in my personal opinion. My 5 years old did not enjoy, and was not willing to go back on the second day at all. When I asked for a credit ( I was willing to accept any sort of penalty and deduction), explaining that this is not a right fit for our need, and maybe we could use the credit in different form, my request was declined by several mangers involved. My personal recommendation for those looking for a tennis program is to look elsewhere. For example Mayfair East would be a much much more better option.

This gym is incredible, all the right facilities with professional staff, I feel like i'm going to a spa rather than to work out because the steam/hot tub combo is top notch. The weight room space could be bigger but that's a nip pick. It's an amazing feeling to walk inside a facility with just a change of clothes, but then get a complete workout, swim/play tennis, then hit the change room for the rest period where u can hit the sauna/steam room and whirlpool. Then when ur relaxed, grab some post workout food at the restaurant. Im not sure how much longer I can keep up with the monthly cost but I am loving it so far!

Be warned, they will not let you cancel your membership unless you have some kind of annual notice they send out. Tried to cancel my membership a while back before the 1 yr mark and they wouldn't lift a finger - needed to have that form. Too difficult to look me up in the system, and mark that I wasn't going to renew for a other year.

Our three children have been attending the Aquatics program at Mayfair. A note of overdue thanks to Alisha (Aquatics Program manager) for her extraordinary combination of expertise, discipline, dedication and care in making this program both highly effective and enjoyable. Our trust in Alisha's leadership and the quality of instruction under her watchful eye is the main reason that our children continue with the Aquatics program at Mayfair.

This is a good all service club for tennis and squash. A decent restaurant, and good staff. Some excellent tennis pros and some just ok, but very friendly and accommodating. The physio clinic staff are top notch as are the trainers in the gym. This particular site seems to have physical facility issues every few years. Flooding, a recent fire, and repairs take verrryyy long but are good once complete. The club was also flexible during COVID.

Staff is friendly and clean. Instructors are good. Management is questionable. Without notice management removed all aftershave. When i asked staff about the aftershave, they kept saying its coming.. after couple months they said it was discontinued. When i asked the general manager, they said "i think it was discontinued, I will get back to you". They never got back to me. After a few weeks i cancelled my membership. That same week aftershave was put back on the shelves... wth. Another time I left my sweater behind at the gym. I called front desk and they found my sweater and said it will be at front desk. I gave them my contact and said I will be in this week. When I went to get my sweater it was nowhere to be found. I found the staff who put it away for me. They suspect someone else came and collected it. I would think a gym of this caliber would be more mindful of peoples belongings. Someone went through lost and found and claimed it when my contact was on it? That is unprofessional and careless. Not the first instance things go missing. Careful of your belongings.

If your looking for just a gym to workout in. This is not the place for the cost. I switched over for a day from Lifetime and it was underwhelming the facility is comparable to a low cost gym very disappointed. Weights were all over the place, barbell was in bad shape. Goodlife would be a better choice.

The standard of the Mayfair Parkway has dropped after the fire. It takes ages to renovate the washrooms. The ladies shower room is always stinky and wet. The towels are dirty looking as they use them to wipe the floor too often. During the summer and school holidays, a lot of space were being used for camps. It is more difficult to book swimming lanes.

Facilities deserve a 5*. This place is a well designed and maintained club. The staff is a whole different story. Rudeness is the norm with many issues from people who work at the cafeteria to the membership advisors, to the Tennis pros. Would recommend this club if you’re in the area and want proper facilities. But don’t expect politeness or courtesy.

Very clean gym, offers basketball court, tennis group lessons, has a bistro with great food options, complimentary towels and toiletries like hair gels and lotion. Swimming pool is salt water, only downside is that its not connected to the main locker rooms. The staff is very polite and is helpful. Only things that need improvement on, is that their machines are a bit outdated and the club itself needs a renovation like the other two locations. Also if they could fix the steam room that would be great as it doesn't give enough steam.

Expensive gym but you definitely get what you pay for. Polite reception, great snack bar, a wide range of fitness machines and they're never busy so your always good to go. The pool is a good size too and the locker rooms great and spacious. I wish they can add curtains in the showers.

We registered for a ten days trial and then we canceled since you have to pay extra for every single thing in the club on top of $107 monthly fee. There are lockers and change rooms that you need to pay extra to use them and there is not much difference between them. For men's shower, there is no curtains and if you want more privacy, you need to pay extra for private showers!!! There is a program which matches you with other squash players, BUT you have to pay $20 extra monthly!! It is a very old building with no windows and it is always dark no matter what time of the day you go to the club. In total I feel that its a rip off to be a member of this club. Also it is very cheap to charge people who are already paying so much for small services you provide.

Customer service very disappointing. Was a member before covid. Reached out to the management to rejoin this week, they want another initiation fee to come back. Guess I'll look at other options. Membership doesn't have any privileges or value.

Used to be good club. No more. During Covid most services are suspended except for billing your credit card. Booking tennis court almost impossible. Club was oversubscribed before Covid, now they brought kids to play tennis until 8:30pm. Members are completely ignored, again except when it comes to overcharging for non-existent services. Stay away.

Hi ,I joined Mayfair few months back and opted for Personal Training .I have never been to a gymn before and was reluctant of doing the effort. My major reason for opting the personal training route was to be more disciplined and health conscious .I was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes and wanted to get rid of it without medicines. The trainer assigned to me was Ashton and he is phenomenal. Ashton never promised me the sky .He supported me in setting up small goals encouraged me to achieve my milestones and in 2 months I have got rid of my Diabetes. Thank you Aston for believing in me and helping me reclaim my life without Diabetes. You are a great trainer,a motivator and the best 👌

Mayfair Parkway is a racquets club that also offers a broad range of complimentary ancillary services. Overall, the club is an excellent place to pursue athletic and social activities. The building and its facilities are well managed and maintained to a high level. The staff are professional, knowledgeable and welcoming. Any concerns that have arisen have been dealt with quickly, fairly and satisfactorily.

However, the lack of soap in the showers was annoying.

Hasan helped get me set up and he was very professional, got back to me when he said he would and welcomed me to the club with a big smile. I joined a bit less than a year ago and do not really have any positive to say about Mayfair, its community, and as well as the overall experience. I originally joined to use the squash courts and had gotten my friend to sign up with me as we planned on using the facilities as a means to get into better shape. With the guidelines and rules, members are expected to conduct themselves in a reasonable and polite manner to other club members but unfortunately this was not the case for me. I was unfortunately sworn at by an older male at the club when I had ask him to remove himself from the court in which I had booked due to an issue with their scheduling program and had brought the case up to management. When speaking to management, I was told that the member was sorry and that I should just walk away from the situation. It is concerning for me that management would expect me to just walk away when no formal apology was issued to me, no mediation occurred, and my complaint was not taken seriously. I personally just wanted someone within the club to tell me that they have made steps towards to make the environment more welcoming through an email or news letter regarding conduct at the club but instead was told that "they would not revoke the persons membership" when it wasn't even my intention. I don't want my money back and I am thoroughly disappointed by how everything was handled. while some may find the memberships expensive, it is not IF there was a level of service that is reflected but nevertheless, this wasn't and still isn't the case. While i know that many people will still continue to join this club, i hope that they will never have to experience what I experienced at this club.

This is a great place with good amenities for the price. Unfortunately the swim program's management is extremely unorganized. On multiple occasions, my son's class has been interrupted due to inadequate management and it seems like whoever is in charge of managing simply does not care
