Exceptional food quality and service. We have enjoyed all the dishes. This is not an average upscale dining restaurant so you will expect the prices to be higher than the average fine dining restaurants. It was definitely over $120+ a person. Overall it was a great experience.

The food was decent for the price however I took a peek into the kitchen on my way to restrooms and noticed that none of the kitchen staff were wearing masks while preparing food!! Very upsetting that a "fine dining" restaurant cares so little for the health of their guests and staff.

The food was overall pretty good and service staff was polite and attentive. We ordered calamari for appetizer. And it was $30 plus tax for literally 4 pieces of squid. It was the worst deal ever.

Last time visit Terra was a few years ago, always love their service, atmosphere & food, so was dinner there last night with old time friends. Cozy table was reserved, tables were closely arranged to my taste, but Saturday night reservations must full. Arrived @6, started with prosecco, rose’ for the lady, dozen of oysters, seafood platter to kick off a great dinner. Lobster, king crab, scallops, prawns & calamari were all succulent & tasty, oysters were perfectly picked, then came big Tbone medium rare to share, malbec pairs nicely with the steak, charcoaled, juicy & tender, heaven! Gelato for the lady & coffee wrapped up the night in laughters! I must compliment the smiles & attentive services, good place for dates!

The food was excellent but the service needs more refining. It wasn't bad or anything, but I would expect more from a restaurant of this caliber. We had reservations and when we arrived, our table wasn't ready and we were invited to have a drink at the bar. We waited for some time for the bartender to finally come, when they did, we asked for a cocktail menu, she came back a few minutes later with one (you'd think it should be handy right there), and the menu didn't even have cocktails on it. Our table was ready anyway so we couldn't even get a drink. Once we were seated it was a wait until our server came as well. Once we ordered drinks, the bar was again slow and we waited easily 15min or so until our drinks finally came. We had grilled wild boar appetizer special which was delicious. For our entrees we ordered the Artic char and the ribeye, both delicious and cooked to perfection. However, our server didn't check on us after bringing the food for some time. When he finally did, we asked for some ketchup for our fries and finishing/flaky salt for our steak. By the time we finally got those items, our meal was cold. Again, these are small details but collectively it does affect how enjoyable the overall experience was. We really enjoyed our food, but at the price point and the overall service, I'm not sure if we'd return?

Attended a friend's birthday in the restaurant. Everything was done the right way. Service was excellent! Food was even better. The chorizo came in the cheese wheel, it was so yummy! The lamb was amazing. Overall had a blast! Will definitely come back by myself or with family or friends!

When I saw the Ferrari getting parked by a valet in front, I assumed I walked into an episode of Billions. When you enter, you will need to be prepared to shell out your hard earned cash as it is not simply the food, but it's the entire dining experience. You will be waited every few minutes up to the point where you want to shoo them away. But that is the point. You have separate staff to bring you a metal tray of complementary bread. We ordered a 13 ounce strip and Arctic Char for $65 and $47, respectively. Heaven fobid, they add a carb,you must pay $15 each for mushrooms and truffle fries. Everything is delicious. For dessert, you get a lovely complimentary snack tray with cashew and apricot. We also had a lovely french press coffee and shared a pudding cask where they pour the warm topping. 100% do not eat anything the day of coming! Overall, put on a nice jacket guys, you will get points for a lovely date/anniversary must try. Altogether with tax and tip $315. Keep in mind they stick around and stare at your fingures with the machine. We know we tip on top of tax, which is a gutsy but respected maneuver. -Zuk

Thirty years in the making as the city sprawled to touch its doors. A chilly night and a senorita at my side we entered a bustling retreat with dim lighting and burst of laughter. We were met like royalty and escorted to a quiet table. The service was crisp and the petite steaks with vintage wine delightful. What a beginning to an adventurous evening.

Great place to celebrate special occasions and casual dinners with friends. The service was great! The bread itself was very hard to chew on, very very dry and it tasted weird. Wait time was very long for my meals, but the food still tastes very fresh and nice. Would definitely recommend lobster bisque and foie gras. This is my first time coming to this restaurant, I had a great experience at this restaurant. Would definitely come back again (hopefully next time I come back the bread will be softer and better🥖)

This is certainly a hidden gem in the heart of Thornhill. They make a great steak and the gnocchi is an absolute must have either as a main dish or as a side. The desserts are also super delicious. The wine selection is great and reasonably priced.

Best Italian I’ve had for a while! Went on for birthday, staff was super friendly and welcoming. - Ordered Half dozen of Oyster was very fresh and tasty. -Grilled octopus was excellent and tasty. Goes well with the tomato flavor and Smokey touch -Roasted chicken super crispy on the outside but super tender and juicy on the inside Very Recommended

Absolutely love this restaurant. Even after all these years they remain consistent with quality dishes & amazing service! All of their food is truly AMAZING. There is not one dish we ordered that we didn’t love. If you haven’t been to this local Thornhill spot you MUST!

Excellent service from start to finish. Appetizer of quail was delicious. The seafood pasta was cooked perfectly. Seafood was amazing. The desert was yummy.

Went her for lunch and I truly loved the food, we ordered the Bolognese and the Gnocchi and the truffle fries. I love the short string cuts of the fries and the pasta dishes. I will surely return.

We attended a dinner event hosted at Terra. It was a very nice experience. Great restaurant nice ambience. The food was really delicious. We had pasta, antipasto, and mains. For the antipasto since we don't eat pork they brought us a halal option with lots of tasty things that was very delicious. Shrimp, fresh cheese, and a few other things. Among them was the best octopus I've ever had. It was really perfect. The texture the flavour the cook level were all outstanding. The pasta was good. Nothing really to phone home about but it was nice and tasty. For the main they told me the beef wasn't halal but the chicken was and they offered halal lamb chops as well. The lamb was perfectly cooked and nicely seasoned. They may have been overwhelmed with the parties though. The wait staff were all lovely but we never got a few things we asked for and our kids never got their ice cream dessert after 2 reminders. Overall really great experience though. I can't wait to go back and order the octopus.

Awesome place for a date night. Good food. Amazing cocktails. Fun amd prompt staff. Loved the dinner. The place does gets a bit noisy and they tried to cram tables every where possible, and I dont blame them for that, but does takes away a bit from overall atmosphere. 100% recommend the place.

Great experience. Food and service was amazing. We started with the foie Gras and octopus. Appetizer portions were terribly small. For our mains we had the Australian rack of lamb and a 14oz ribeye. Perfectly cooked. For the rack, we loved that it wasn't just a mountain of mashed potatoes like with other restaurants. The blend of various sautéed vegetables complimented the dish very nicely. The ribeye was perfectly cooked as well. Not over seasoned. The gnocchi I ordered for its side is to die for. It was amazing. I was disappointed with the wine. It was shown on the menu to be a year 2016 bottle. I very soon realized it was a 2018 and called the server right away. I was told it was definitely a mistake on the menu but would do something in place for the troubles. I thought it was a kind gesture and appreciated it. I don't appreciate when promises aren't fulfilled because nothing was done by the time we left. Other than that, amazing service. Our server was great!

We got married there last night. Everyone is so amazing. So accommodating and thoughtful. Great atmosphere. Indoors and outdoors. The food is amazing. Our guests wanted to come back another time. Said it was the best food they had ever had. Thanks again, Ian and Michael, for making it a great experience.

Food was delish and server was very nice! Had a bunch of shareables and enjoyed the steak. The service was slow this night, took about an hour and 1/2 to get main but I’d give them another chance :)

Every dish cooked to perfection.. talk about elegant dining... Top shelf....oysters were amazing!!! the charred octopus cooked perfect had a great time great atmosphere havnt been impressed like this in awhile..

Hidden Jem alert! If you are looking for fine Italian cuisine away from from DT or vaughan, this is a great spot to dine in Richmond hill area. Nice dim setting, great food with a great drink selection (love when my amerretto sours are made with egg whites). The service is mediocre (I am comparing to other fine dining restaurants). The house olive bread was hard to resist! Dishes I would definitely order again: (featured soup mushroom soup, raspberry point oysters, porterhouse steak, Bibb & Artisanal Greens salad, beef carpaccio, seafood speghettini, grilled branzino and foie gras ( from the dinner sides instead of the app section). Thanks Terra staff for a great first experience!

I Went in on October 1 to take a friend out to dinner for her birthday. She randomly chose Terra based on it being our half way meeting point. Let me just start by saying what exceptional service. From the simplest of things from waiters quickly acknowledging and smiling at me on the way to the bathroom or giving my friend a birthday dessert even when we had already paid and finished up our meals. We started with one waitress but I assume she was finishing up for the night. There was a little bit of confusion in regards to our order but we didn’t even realize since we were catching up and hadn’t seen each other in a while. Even though we didn’t have the same waitress/waiter for the night someone was always checking on us and making sure we were ok. We were not fully vaccinated yet so had to sit outside….they made sure to give us a wonderful seat right next to the fire place where we were perfectly comfortable the whole evening. The food…..it really speaks for itself. I had the lobster spaghettini - easily the best pasta I’ve ever had. I will absolutely be back here. You’ll spend a few $$$ but totally worth it.

I am never disappointed when dining at Terra. The food is always superb- compliments to the chef. The service is outstanding. Yesterday, our small party were celebrating a birthday and all the various choices we made from appetizers, entrees and deserts were excellent. Our waiter was friendly, attentive. I would highly recommend Terra whether it is for a special occasion or just regular lunch/dinner, you will not be disappointed.

Absolutely perfect. We booked a table for two on their terrace for our anniversary and I can honestly say there is no room for improvement. Everything --- from booking my reservation, to the meal timing, to the polite and prompt service, not to mention the impeccable menu and impeccable execution of every item on it --- was perfect. I don't think I've been to a single restaurant in the last 7 years in Toronto that was so well run, top to bottom, and I consider myself a foodie.... Cannot recommend enough. EAT HERE, you will not be disappointed.

Came here for a birthday pre pandemic. Food was good. However we felt so unwelcomed as guests. We were seated in the middle on the room and it felt so crowded with many people walking by and barely any space for the food we ordered. We definitely felt a difference in customer service given that we didn’t order a full five course meal spending $$$$. The server did not come by often to check in on us. We have been to find dining for special occasions and honestly have never felt so unwelcomed. Therefore we will not be returning.

Went for a birthday celebration with the family and we definitely enjoyed it. Service was fast and attentive. I ordered the bison while my wife ordered the mushroom/vegan option. My bison was cooked perfectly and tasted so good. Even then I have to admit my wife's meal tasted better than my bison! Overall a great experience and we look forward to going back.

The atmosphere is really classy and the food is to die for. This place is a bit pricey but definitely worth every penny. Will definitely come back.

Came here yesterday for my company's Christmas Dinner and I have to say, the experience was impeccable. We stayed in the outdoor area which was tented and heated and set up beautifully...didn't even feel like we were outside. Wait staff were professional and personable which made the experience that much more enjoyable. Even the process of booking the event was smooth. Now the food, the food was perfect! Compliments to the chef for preparing such wonderful entrees. I highly recommend this restaurant!

The food is good. Service is not the best. Server’s service is roughly ok ish, not the warmest or coldest service I ever experienced. It took extremely long for the food to finally showed up. My kids ended up fed themselves up with the free bread before the mains came. It was about a bit more than half an hour wait between appetizers and main. Not sure if it’s the norm for this restaurant. And it’s about 50 bucks for a pasta dish. It’s not a neighbourhood restaurant I expected for families. But it’s not bad that you don’t have to drive down for high quality food. It was a mixed experience. Hope that this restaurant can improve its service and for wait time!

Attended a friend's birthday in the restaurant. We had a great time. Terra - is a beautiful place with nice atmosphere, delicious food and amazing customer service. Presentation and service from our waiter Dmitriy was top notch! He was attentive and had us laughing.
