Great little actual Irish pub in the heart of Markham where the majority are Asian restaurants. Came on St.Patrick's Day and it's surprisingly not packed like the other pubs on Main. Although it's a small dining area, they were definitely festive with all the St.Patty's decor. My Guinness draft was great, the wings were nice hot and big and the pie dish was nice. But steak and Kidney pie may not be for everyone. Although we weren't greeted at the door so we just sat ourselves, the service was great.

I had been wanting to stop for a quick lunch here for a long time and finally got a chance. Sadly, I think most of the items on the menu are frozen and from a box. Prices were on the steeper side. $9.50 for a Guinness and $25 for a meal. No kids menu. Looks like that place needs a good deep cleaning. Waitress was polite and friendly. Based on her service, this would have been a 5 star review. It's just that the place needs attention and the menu is pricey and boring. Might revisit in the future but definitely not in a hurry.

One of my favourite pubs in Unionville. They have amazing food, great staff, and good selection of beer. Moreover, they have many TVs, in case you want to watch your favourite team’s game (basketball, hockey, ...). Food came very fast and it was delicious. It’s a small pub, nonetheless, a great place. Highly recommend it.

A cozy little pub in Markham with friendly service and a unique menu selection of English style food. Mondays after 4pm, they offer half off wings with the purchase of a drink which is a great deal. The wings were very juicy and they are jumbo size. Will definitely be back to try more food!

This place is a part of the atmosphere of Markham, I've been coming to the area for 5yrs and I always make a point to get over there. Good English bar food, wing night on Mondays, Guinness... What more could you ask for?

Great little pub in downtown Markham. Great atmosphere and crowd. Food was good, service was good even though it was busy. Great place after work to grab a drink or food.

It's a small place, but very homey. I always get the Bangers and Mashed. All their dishes are pretty good, so you can't go too wrong.

Small place, we walked in and server behind bar asked us to go "find a table" and she would be with us. It took a while for her to attend as she was the "only" one working. This is now prime dinner hour 6;30pm at a pub with only 1 server? I asked for a glass of white wine she asked me if I wanted "ice" in my wine?? I was taken, and I had to ask her why she asked me that. "The wine is chilled I asked" - she replied "yes but customers ask for ice"? The menu was very childish and selections were not great. The best part was my guest threw up after dinner...Sorry not returning. we paid close to $85 and not worth it.

Loved the atmosphere. The server was polite, fast, and professional. Unfortunately the food fell flat. My daughter’s favorite food is butter chicken. She would not eat their butter chicken. I tasted it and it was very tomato heavy, but passed as butter chicken. The scotch egg was huge, but it was the worst scotch egg I have had. The breading was a thin rubbery skin over an odd tasting mystery meat with a slightly over cooked egg on the top. The roast beef sandwich came as a philly cheese steak and had to be sent back. The roast beef that came was dry with a strong herb flavor. When I selected a side, I chose onion rings, but was not told there was a $3 upcharge to pick that as a side.

Unimpressed by the food. Arrived around 5:30 pm Friday for supper w/ husband, we ordered french onion soup, beef dip with fries, and English style fish and chips. It was bland and/or soggy. French fries were soggy and greasy, like the fat in the fryer wasn't hot enough. Beef dips are supposed to come with a denser bread with a crispy crust, after all, you are going to dip it in a liquid, it needs to be able to stand up. The bun they used was soft, like a hamburger bun and the bottom was already soggy the first time I picked it up. The beef was beef, I'm not sure they used any seasoning. The jus was flavorless, husband thought it came out of a can. The soup was ok, I've had better, husband had same comment about the fish, he has had better. When the waitress came around to ask how things were we started telling her about the fries, she said yes, that is the nature of the potato, it doesn't crisp up. No effort was made to address the fact that we had just clearly said we didn't like it. We didn't bother mentioning anything else.

It is a nice typical pub, I would say cozy, but it's pretty tight. Holds between 20-30 table seating, plus patio and bar. GREAT WINGS!

Haven't been to "King Eddie's" since about 2008 while staying across Highway 7 at the Hilton. Was always great, made friends, great food. Doubt anyone will remember the British Airways teams that spent a few winters in Markham while working with IBM colleagues. Great memories.
