Really simple and cheap place for breakfast food the way you like it. Service was very kind as well.

Eggsmart is my go-to place for breakfast. The atmosphere is fantastic, and the food is delicious. What makes it even better is that this location is more budget-friendly compared to the one on Yonge and Shepherd. So, if you're looking for a great breakfast without breaking the bank, this is the spot to be!

Ordered take out today and it’s disgusting experience I’ll tell you guy, if you don’t care what you cook for delivery don’t do delivery at all, bacon is so burnt you can’t even eat it plus there is a spot on bacon which looks like a mold, waffle presentation is done with not hand but legs , plus waffles are so dry and not eatable at all , this is definitely last time I’m eating in all the franchise

Went here on a Sunday, they were EXTREMELY short staffed. Given that it was a Sunday after the thunderstorm, they were probably busier than they expected. They had lots of dine in guests as well as lots of takeout orders because people were out of electricity in the neighborhood. The meal itself took a long time to come and the flavors were decent. We got the Trifecta, the French Benny and the Baja Benny. The amount of Pico on the Benny could be more and they should've served more than just a thin slice of cantaloupe with the breakfasts. The one server who was working was very efficient and did a great job trying to get everyone seated, taking their orders, serving coffees, serving the meals and taking payment. The way she kept her calm and kept going was very impressive.

Horrible experience!! We came in for breakfast and were seated quickly. There was only one staff working on floor and she was relatively fast. We ordered and waited for a while. The food came out which was not what we were expecting. My salad was awful with old and rubbery chicken on top along with few ingredients as compared to what was pictured on their menu. Nothing seemed fresh!! My husband’s meal was okay. His brother ordered pancakes that came out raw and undercooked so we asked our server to look into it. She took it back into the kitchen and told us that the chef will acknowledge that. A few moments later, their chef came and started insulting us and started talking rudely. He said “the pancakes are tasting like that because you guys put syrup on that” OMG!! He just didn’t accepted his mistake and said do we need the Indian kinda bread here?!! I said this is not the first time we were having pancakes. Anyhow, we didn’t wanted to stretch the scene that he made so we decided not to order anything else to replace the pancakes. Overall, that was an unacceptable way to deal with your paying customers. We won’t be back here!!

The staffs are so polite , nice and fast to serve the customer . The coffee was so fresh and good . Brunch was amazing …. 🌹Love to go back again

Food is well prepared and fresh. Portions are normal for the time. In fact, my meal had extra peameal bacon. Staff are polite and friendly. Atmosphere is your typical and traditional breakfast place. Table is set with everything you need (unlike other places). Things that can be improved, 1) extra serviettes at the table would be nice, 2) a small plate to place waste. It will just adds a touch of better service. Overall a 9/10 experience. Definitely worth coming back.

I get this is a mass operated commercial franchise and I have factored that in my expectation and this review, but to be honest food was far below average and assembled from frozen and below-average ingredients. Portions were small. Staffs were very nice and friendly but because of the food, I don't recommend this restaurant.

Just ordered a 2 of their 3 egg breakfast via ubereats and got the lamest breakfast ever. Will never order from them again. PS. Uber eats didn't help.

This place is a bit old but the staffs are super friendly. The chicken was a bit dry but I was happy with my salad. The eggs were so nice with ranch sauce.

Delivery order was a COMPLETE ripoff... accidentally ordered from here instead of my usual place... BIG MISTAKE.... HUGE!!! Order from a different location so you'll get your money's worth. Here's my problems: 1. No toast included... was supposed to be 6 slices.... that's just lazy service. 2. Two fruit cups that were part of the special I ordered had EXACTLY 10 blueberries and 2 cut-up strawberries TOTAL... that's just cheap. 3. Asked for red onions on a blt order and for the home fries to be well done... shouldn't have wasted my time typing those things requests because it competed ignored. Do yourself a favor and order from the Shepard/ Victoria Park location... you will actually get your money's worth as opposed to this location.

Best vibe from this place. Staff were super welcoming. Quiet space with news on the tv. Newspapers to read. Cushioned seats. The seating areas felt private and comfortable. The waitress knew all the regulars by name, and their orders. The people in the joint looked at peace, an older lady was slowly sipping coffee as she read a newspaper, a elderly couple came in and were greeted by name, and then asked if they wanted their regular, and like magic 10 minutes later, their regular order was served. A pair of young men sat behind me and talked about buisness, while the waitress refilled their coffee. The menu was bright and colourful, the tables were clean. I loved the tablewear, from the syrup pourers, the coffee mugs, the glazed plates, and all the condiments. The place was warm and smelled of waffles. The waitress brought me a large cup of ice water and a refill. The waffle i ordered was delicious and i loved the extra slice of ripe orange on my plate. The pace was slow, no one looked at you too much, the staff took their time, no one rushed to get you out of there. Just felt right. Definitely felt the place deserved a tip when i was done eating. Very hospitable, and i will be back.

I have been to multiple breakfast places in the area and this is by far the worst one. Me and my family experience poor service. Our table had zero water, we waited over an hour for our meals. My mom order a salad and it was served with no salad dressing but on the menu it said it had dressing. Once she spoke up about the salad they gave her dipping sauce for her salad. The menus and table were very sticky and the food was edible. Not to mention it’s cash or e-transfer. I would not recommend this place.

I paid 44 dollars for myself and a friend to have the most pathetic breakfast I have had in my life over here. What an absolute disappointment and a horrible start tot he day. If you are going to use low quality ingredients, at least use some salt so theres flavor.

Horrible customer service. I ordered something through Ubereats with them and they forgot to send the fires, the whipped cream, and the pancake sauce, eventhough I paid for them. When I called to tell them about it, they said for me to get into an uber (and obviously pay for the uber myself) and go there to pick up the items that they forgot to put in the bag. They were not apologetic at all as if they are doing me a favour. Stay away from them until they learn how to pack an order, and if they do make a mistake, learn how to properly apologize and make it up to the customer. I don't know who the owner is but I would suggest investing some time teaching your staff how to handle mistakes properly. Truly poor experience. This location is one of the best ones. Me and my boyfriend come to this location all the time. The staff is very friendly, the meal was delicious overall we had a positive experience and we want to give a shout-out to our waitress and Ashtif for handling our orders today.

I had the veggie scramble skillet and it was delicious. Loaded with big chunks of mushrooms, peppers and spinach. Hot and tasty!

Don't.... Unless this is the only option you have. The coffee is not good, meals were forgotten, no plates were cleared. Place was not busy, yet table placement made it feel crowded. Skillet is not a real skillet, just a plastic bowl. It felt like a dish you give to a child when you are afraid they are going to break it. The "skillet" meal itself was not bad, but more of a scrambled eggs with vegetables and cheese. Not going back.

The staff of this breakfast restaurant is simply amazing. Super friendly and food is served with a smile. Anything wrong with your order and they are quick to fix no question asked. Watching people come in as we are, they turned out to be regulars who knew the staff like close friends. Very good place, recommended .. A+

Came to have breakfast, which was delicious as always. The cook here is super awesome. My low rating is due to witnessing three Uber Eats drivers waiting to pickup orders that hadn't been made yet. New wait staff, some kind of mess up with orders. One driver came in and the waitress told him "there's no order" while the driver clearly had an order to pick up. Neither waitress knew what was going on. It seemed that the wrong orders were given to the wrong drivers. It irritated me because the waitresses were telling the cook "just make another one" and the cook said "I've already made this, where is it?" And neither waitress seemed to know what was going on.

Stopped in for a late breakfast and was not disappointed! Food was served hot and fast and was delicious. Staff was friendly and the service was great. If it was closer to home I'd be a regular!

Food was decent. Nothing to brag about though. We saw the table beside us send back a completely black-burnt plate of toast lol. Not sure how this place has a better star score than Ramona's kitchen. I came on a Sunday morning around 10am. Maybe it's better during the week?

It's sad to see that there are restaurants that do better quality when dine in vs delivery from food taste to remembering condiments. Egg smart either Ned needs to UP their eggs and pancake game 🤮. Last time I eat there with my own money.

Very outdated and minimal amount of meat. Not really meeting egg smart expectations. The cheese seen in the photo is the total amount of cheese included in this what they call “poutine”. So sad

store was HALF EMPTY and yet still took about 25 min to place an order and then almost another 45 min for food to arrive. Uber and skip drivers by the door waiting impatiently. When the food did arrive, it was cold and frankly not all that great. Servers were the only good thing but were lost most of the time and stressing and it's clear to see they were under trained. management needs to step up and help those girls out.

In short, quantity not quality. I would like to have scored them higher because the servers were great and my coffee cup never ran dry. PS good roasted coffee! Now the critique - Feeling starved I ordered the large breakfast which included everything possible plus 3 breakfast meats with your 4 eggs. "Scrambled" please I asked and lightly cooked, maybe even a bit "wet" on the eggs. Sure! The server responded. My "brown" slab of so-called scrambled eggs arrived. I did not complain because maybe this is under done leaving me scared to think what would appear if I asked for hard scrambled. Anyways, scrambled for me means loose, wet but nicely cooked. Everything else except for the overly sweet pancake syrup(?) was fine. My poor eggs were horrible and just as I was thinking that, more coffee magically arrived. I wasn't going to do a Karen (Ken) for that reason but my ranking could have easily become a 3* verging on a 4*

Breakfast on August 2. Everything was fresh and tasty. I think the manager served us and he was super friendly and funny. The service was quick and it was just nice to feel welcomed and enjoy breakfast. The right way to start the day. Judie P

Visiting from Ottawa and decided to give this place a try for breakfast. Tables and bathroom were filthy! Our orders were broght to us on dirty plates, hair found throughout the food and food was mostly burnt and tasted awful! When we brought this to the attention of our sever, the cook began yelling at us. My youngest vomited after a few bites. Cook wears his mask under his chin while preparing food. Do yourself a favor and skip this place!

firstly the service was slow. The food was average. I had to wait so long for the waitress to bring over the machine to pay. I ended up walking over to her. Here’s the main issue - the waitress had a very bad odour to her. I highly recommend to management that they ensure their staff are clean. It was quite offensive.

Such a wonderful dining experience here with my parents this morning. Asif was welcoming, funny, and provided us with impeccable service! The food was *delicious* and the bottomless coffee was much needed 😊 Definitely coming back!!

Service was awful. Explained that we had a family funeral to attend when we were approached 15 minutes after we arrived. 15 minutes later we were told our food would be ready in 10 minutes. 15 minutes later we found out that our order hadn't even been started. We were just 5 of the unhappy customers. There were others complaining. The owner should get rid of the wait staff to start. They stood around behind the counter doing nothing and not even looking out at the seated customers. Will NEVER return there.
