Absolutely loved the place! Why? DOGS are allowed! Even have cookies available for your fur friends. Coming to beer - an IPA lovers place for sure. Did love the Pilsner too. There were a couple of stouts will try next time. You order pizza from the menu (provided by separate business but delivered to your table). We went Sunday late afternoon/early evening so found a spot. Not sure other time. It was all self service. Clean bathrooms. Cool decor.

Wasn’t sure what to expect heading over to this brewery, but what a treat it was. Very large indoor space as well as a small outdoor patio. It is dog friendly, which is incredible! Very good selection on top of beers with some quality merchandise for purchase as well. Seems like they have live music every weekend. Would recommend this place 100 times over.

Enjoyed the beer and company here at Rouge River Friday night. Good selection of IPA, sours and dark beers. Easy going staff and owners. Good vibe and good parking. Patterson pizza also available. Sour dough pizza are the best!

Great place with passionate and friendly staff. AMAZING focaccia sandwiches, but that is their only meal option at the moment. The beer was great! Lots of IPA and DIPA options with a few other varieties on tap and in can.

Great local brewery in east Markham. You can grab a pint and they have a patio. You can buy beer to take home. You can also try @pattersonspizza! The best pizza you will ever try! They sell their Holy Trinity beer in select LCBO’s now too! They have open mics Sundays sometimes. Highly recommend!

First time going today, the beer & cider was delicious and refreshing. The pizza from Patterson's Pizza was absolutely delicious. Best pizza we've had in a long time. We will be coming frequent customers. Thanks so much guys!

What a great little Brewery. Excellent, fresh beers. The selection of IPA'S is the best I've seen in a long time.. hazy IPA'S, triple and double IPA'S... all great, all fresh. Enjoyed all of them. So excited to find out about this dog-friendly, local gem in Markham! Such a huge space, with friendly staff, delicious pizzas, and crafted beer! This brewery has been opened for 7 years, specializing in artisan ales. There are lighter beer options available, and even a non-alcoholic beer that tastes just like beer! Huge fan of their Old George, a classic English-style brown porter, very similar to a stout but less bitter. It is very easy to drink, and definitely a crowd favourite♡ I stocked up lol. You will also find ice cream from Love Gelato, freshly made pizza from Patterson's Pizza, and many fun, social events hosted for locals (like trivia, music bingo, open mic, comedy night, food and art workshops, and even yoga with your dog!) I had such a great time tonight, and I'll definitely come back again with my family and friends!

Hidden local gem! Came for Patterson's pizza and the staff were super friendly and reco something new to try.

It's such an inviting space, the team make you feel welcome as soon as you walk in the door. The beers are very well executed, imaginative and always changing, but what sets this brewery apart is the events they have. From quiz nights to yoga and live music from professionals and open mic sessions, there's always something going on. Recently they are doing Oktoberfest, and the team set up real bbq sausages outside and created a great atmosphere inside. When they added Patterson Pizza to the mix it became a whole family destination. Go, you won't be disappointed.

Indoor dog friendly pub I came here with friends for beer and brought my dog. We absolutely love that this is an indoor hangout space where we can bring dogs! There is no kitchen here so that is why it is allowed. You can also get pizza here while you're having drinks. It comes from Patterson's Pizza just next door. Pizza with the beers is a perfect match if you ask me.

Excellent brewery in the uptown region. The selection is fantastic and the pricing is reasonable. On certain nights of the week, there is also live music - great place to relax and hang out with friends! Bonus points for Patterson’s Pizza which offers delicious pizza on the weekends. My only wish is the opening hours could be LONGER as they close 8-9PM right when I wish I could go for another round!

I have visited this location a half-dozen times throughout the last few years. I have experienced a pattern of friendly customers, welcoming & knowledgeable staff, and good quality beers (especially DIPAs). Those DIPAs can be strong but high quality and enjoyable. Their beer menu consists of more beer styles than just DIPAs though. This location has a space for live music and offers Patterson’s Pizza (small business). I have enjoyed every visit here and would recommend any fans of craft beer to visit this location.

Best place in Markham! Delicious beers (I’m not even much of a beer drinker) great vibe, go in grab some tasters and enjoy a relaxed fun atmosphere. Staff are so friendly, helpful and kind! Occasionally they have great food pop ups and their in house pizza is the best pizza Markham. Great price too for quality! 1000% recommend you come and check it out.

Rouge River brewing were the perfect hosts for a memorial/ birthday event for my son who passed away unexpectedly in March. I wanted to make this special for his memory and it really could not have been better!! Pattersons Pizza was amazingly delicious the beers were enjoyed by many of my guests! Thank you

Great bunch of people brewing some fantastic beers. Absolutely worth the visit. They rarely brew the same thing twice and everything they do is delicious.

Beer is good but the server was not very friendly, a bit terse actually. She could have at least greeted us and say hello. When we ordered our beer, she just stared at us until we requested what we wanted. We weren’t expecting a fuzzy hug or anything but really? At least greet your new customers.

Spectacular beer! I can't say enough great things about the beer. The atmosphere is great. The reason I gave 3 stars instead of 5 is that it is a "bar/pub" & children in a setting like this is odd. I'm also not a big fan of people bringing dogs into bars.

This is an excellent full band Mic Jam place on Sunday monthly. 👍👍👍👍👍Great musicians, pizza and beers. My favourite spot to enjoy my Sunday afternoon. 🎶🏝🎹🎸🥁🎷🎤🎵🍕🍕🍺🍻

Great place to spend a weekend evening. Asked for suggestions from the bartender and the recommendations were 👌🏻. If you’re down for a hazy IPA, make sure to try their Nimbostratus or the Holy Trinity and if you want to get something fruity, I highly recommend the Groovy Fruit.

[Note this is my own growler, filled with their beer!] You can bring your own growler here and get it filled with a variety of craft beer. Really good value, bartender and guests are really nice, you'll get the occasional random conversation. They don't sell growlers here though, got to get your own. Occasionally got live music, relatively quiet area. Some people bring their dogs in too!

A great place to try a variety of beers, wines, ciders and more. They have food, music, a band and great service! Bring your friends, partner, etc. You can be inside or seat in the outdoor patio. You can stay long or just go by for a drink and enjoy the close location.
