Booked this hotel after some online research as I was coming to Sydney for Vivid and was looking for somewhere central but not pricey. My friend and I have been absolutely delighted with everything. The staff have been delightful and accommodating. The location is perfect. The rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable and quiet. I would highly recommend to anyone travelling to Sydney to put this hotel on your list of places to stay.

I paid around 120 Oz for a compact queen room. The room size was fine for me. (Bigger than most Japanese budget hotels I have stayed in recently). It and the bathroom as per website photos. The bed was surprisingly comfortable given that I could feel the springs when I sat on it. I highly recommend the hotel investing in a mattress topper. The down-sides were: tiled hallways and common areas meant that it was noisy when ever anyone was in the corridor. My room faced a wall and abutted air-conditioner units- so no view, but no street noise either. In full daylight I still needed to have a light on. If I were staying longer than overnight I'd feel claustrophic and need a room with some sort of outlook/natural light. For the price - I'm not complaining - but providing a realistic description. It is truly an excellent location. At the low price it was worth it, but if it were more than 20 percent higher I think I’d look for other options.

Great location, a minute or so from QVB building. Wilson's car park close by, centrally located. The price was quite competitive for the area, I had booked standard queen bedroom. It mentions modern design furnishings however I think it is a little dated looking. They provide a couple of free snacks in the room. There were a couple of areas where the floor wasn't vacuumed and the glass is dirty. Apart from that it wasn't too bad. The service was friendly. I gave them my credit card to pay. Then proceeded to my room, only to be called on the room phone to be told that I hadn't paid. Then I communicated to them to use the card that I gave them. Once they did that they came up to hand deliver me a paper receipt for my cash deposit. They also mention being a 'green hotel' by requesting to reuse towels. Maybe using more sustainable building materials, recycled paper toilet paper and more natural made soaps might assist with that themeing. Also acoustics not so great from the hallway foyer if people are getting up early your going to know about it.

I had a wonderful stay The team were so helpful and accommodating. I was upgraded to a lovely room with views and the bed was huge and extremely comfortable. The tv selection was perfect and the bathroom , including amenities, were very high end. I was very appreciative of the extra service and quality linens as well as the chocolates provided as a gift to celebrate my birthday and the new year festivities. Our stay with YEHS was fantastic, first time visiting Sydney and we couldn’t fault your hotel. Location was great within close proximity to darling harbour, the Lyric Theatre, shopping, parks, restaurants and supermarket. Town Hall station and LR at the door which provided easy transport to airport and circular quay for the ferries. Hotel was clean, quiet and staff very helpful and friendly.

I stayed here a few weeks ago for 2 nights. Location was perfect. Close to all public transport and local attractions. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Rooms were spotless. I was on 2nd floor, facing QVB and heard very little noise from outside. I would recommend this hotel and will be staying here again next time I travel to Sydney :)

I received a complimentary upgrade. We paid for a room with a queen size bed and received a family room for four guests. The rooms were big and included free snacks and drinks. The shower was nice and towels were fresh and clean. I am happy with the place. I booked with a VIP membership so this could be the cause of the free upgrade. The room had two TVs, one for the main and another for the twins. The main was separated by a door. The location is in the centre of Sydney, with Town Hall rail and train stations close by, maybe a 10 min walk. This hotel is near the Queen Victoria Building.

Had an executive suite, on level 6. In terms of location it is really close to the places that we planned to too exploring for the two days. I’m terms of cleanliness, the outside porch need to be swept please, there’s a bunch of dirt and cigarettes the ash in the corner we can see it as we sitting outside. We had the pleasure of staying at YEHS Hotel Sydney QVB during our recent holiday. We booked a family room that was incredibly comfortable for 3 adults and 1 infant. YEHS stored our luggage when we arrived early and after we checked out until it was time for us to leave Sydney. The entire staff is friendly and accommodating, the guest lobby is welcoming and the location was great!

Good value in a central location. Staff is very helpful and cheerful. Hotel is clean and functional. Rooms are on the small end, but one doesn’t come to central Sydney to stay in a hotel room all day. Lots of Cafe and dining options as close as across the street in QVB. Call the hotel directly for best rates as they have a flexible demand-driven rate schedule. Recommended.

The rooms are nothing special. They are clean and tidy, but they are petite. That being said, perfect for my work trip. The location is exceptional and for the price, absolutely ticks boxes. But where they have gained a loyal customer is through the staff. Second to none, personal and go out of their way. Huge shout out to Felix who couldn’t do enough to recommend where to go for good dining options. If that’s the standard that I get every time I come here, then I won’t go any where else!

Rooms were compact but has all the basics. Room and bathroom were very clean, which is most important!! If you need extra amenities (eg iron, etc) these can be requested. Bed was comfy and we had two good nights sleep here. Location is great too - super close to shopping district.

Christin and Ted were fantastic. It was pouring rain outside and they let us borrow umbrellas for the day. This is the second time we’ve stayed at this hotel and we will continue to book here every time we’re in Sydney. The rooms are lovely and great if you need accessibility for wheelchairs etc as they are very spacious and the bathrooms designed for disability.

Absolutely the worst! There is no parking available, you pay $40 per day!!! To park your car in a car park owned by the same company to stay here and parking is 4 mins away from the hotel!! We walked threw the busy streets with 2 kids and our lougage for 2 blocks to the hotel from parking. You are supplied no cutlery, no plates or bowls! Were told to go out and buy our own.. This is just day 1 of 4

Easygoing and lovely staff that were more than happy to help and hold our bags, Monica (I apologise if spelling is incorrect) was especially warm and welcoming. Very tidy rooms, and being so close to the QVB/stations made it easy to walk everywhere from the hotel. Even received a little parting gift with goodies! Will definitely be booking again.

Hotel was in a great location as it was opposite to Queen Victoria Building , Woolworths(Supermarket 4 Levels),metro is below the QVB building and the staff was very friendly! Room is clean although slightly smaller than expected but it was great! TV has Nextflix and YouTube together with it and it's a plus! Even after we checkout , the hotels helps to look after the bags too! Enjoyed the stay and will be back next time!

This boutique style hotel is in a great location. A few minutes walk from Town hall railway station and an easy walk to all parts of the city. The rooms are well laid out and well appointed and are obviously very well maintained. Rates are also very good. A soecial thanks to the very friendly, helpful and professional staff at the front reception desk.

Fantastic location close to station, light rail and shopping centres with cafes and restaurants. The front reception team was so friendly and very helpful, nothing was an effort for them . Although the room was a little small it had everything we needed and was clean and bathroom had been updated and was very quiet. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend.

In particular, after having our homebound flight cancelled, they managed to organise for us to stay in the same room for an extra night. Both parties saying that they would refund the additional nights, but when push came to shove, both declined to refund any of the unused nights. No customer service here! No understanding! We got this place last minute for a super cheap price. The room was beautiful and way better value than expected. The concierge helped us out and came to check us in after hours. Overall, good quality and good service.

We stayed for one week at the YEHS Hotel. It was a great spot. Room was small, but very clean and we didn’t have much of a view. We were Central to all the areas we were interested in seeing. But the absolute best part was the staff. Felix was absolutely amazing! She went out of her way to help us find our way around…gave us ideas for good places to eat… and even good places to shop. She was genuinely interested in the things we did and the experiences we had during the day. By the end of our stay, we felt like family! Highly recommend this Hotel… you will not be disappointed!!

My work booked this hotel for me. They usually go 4 star so perhaps this was incorrectly listed as such on their booking screen. I can say the photos of the rooms look much better than the reality. If you're tall like me and or you like sleeping on your tummy with your legs hanging over the end of the bed, then you will not be comfortable here. The beds have a very hard threaded cord/seam around the edges of the mattress which dig into your legs/feet. Only stay here if you're 5" tall or less.

I had a great stay at YEHS, Sydney QVB. Staff were friendly and promptly attended to my requests. My room was small with just enough room to walk around the queen-sized bed and to the wardrobe, toilet. The window view was the wall of another building... Room was clean and adequately equipped. Heat pump heater kept me warm during winter but it's only (centrally) turned on after 7pm. Biggest advantage here to me is the very strategic location considering the price paid. Will definitely consider staying here again if travelling solo or as a pair, but with my whole family perhaps I'd get a bigger room elsewhere.

Had a pleasant stay. Only stayed one night in a compact Queen and it was great for a short stay. The staff both morning and evening were both friendly and helpful. We received a breakfast pack on arrival which was an added bonus and they has a lounge area with a complimentary coffee machine which we used while having breakfast. YEHS is located in a very convenient spot, right next to QVB and Town Hall. It is near Woolworth supermarket. The Fish Market, Haymarket (China Town), Hyde Park and Central are all within walking distance. Perfect for sight-seeing! The room is clean and spacious. The rooms are beautifully clean, the staff are cheerful and friendly and the location is of Town Hall with a few minutes walk to access shopping, Darling Harbour and plenty of bars and restaurants. It's just a lovely little boutique hotel that is great to stay in. Before I forget a special shout out to Al, Susan and Alisha who were my main contacts last time and always pleased to see me at the end of the day.
