Where to start? Firstly booking through the website directly was an absolute breeze. The value is exceptional. Every detail had been considered…. A proper non carcinogenic kettle rather than a plastic (my biggest gripe with The Westin) Mrs Banks was such a welcoming luxurious environment… bed and pillows were a dream. Most of all the staff, in particular the most lovely and helpful gentleman called Dylan went above and beyond to welcome me. He directed me to the best nearby gluten free cafes and offered me fruit in the interim as I arrived starving! He provided a comforting ear when I told him I was stressed about my sick dog back in Melbourne. I only stayed one night this visit but I would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat!

Nice boutique hotel that's pretty conveniently located, with plenty of busses to and from the city. The standard queen room was on the small side but the bed was comfortable and the room was nicely furnished. Good water pressure from the shower. While the hotel does not have a proper cafe or restaurant, they do set out some pastries for breakfast in the common kitchen and a bowl of fruit is always available at all times. But there are plenty of excellent dining options within walking distance. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Delightful little hotel. Stayed over a week and thoroughly enjoyed our time in Sydney. Receptionist staff absolutely wonderful. Everything about the hotel was lovely although housekeeping could do better - sheets weren’t changed at all (sheets in the photos were there everyday), bedside lamps needed dusting and had to remove hair from shower outlet to get water flowing into the drain. Terrific security and we appreciated the pastries and fruit in the (stunningly attractive) reception area.

Stayed here for one night as we had an event down the road and loved every minute! Clean, comfy and super lovely hospitality. Even got a little history about the building itself when checking in, very interesting! It was clear to see the staff were genuinely passionate about their jobs and the hotel. Some complimentary pastries and fruit were provided for brekky in the lobby, very nice touch. Only wish we’d booked to stay longer so we could’ve made use of the huge tub in our room - next time for sure!

Great location, close to many wonderful retail stores, cafes, restaurants and pubs. The reception was super friendly and accommodating. They were able to check us in when we arrived 30 minutes early. The reception was great in answering any queries we had as well. The room itself was clean and quite modern. The bed was firm and super comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was amazing. Although the streets were very busy, there was no sound coming through the windows and blinds so I had a great night's sleep. I would definitely book at Mrs Banks Hotel in the future.

Rooms were spotless and decor aesthetically pleasing . Reception was incredibly freindly and helpfull. Volunteering clear directions to the event we were going to aswell as also gave us a bunch of local knowledge about the building and what shops were around . They seemed happy to hold our bags after check out while we went and looked around for a bit then helped us flag a taxi when we were leaving . The quality of service here was incredible . Thankyou

This was a jewel find. We travelled for the weekend to visit our daughter. We loved the prime location. The staff are exceptional as are the rooms, they are fresh, minimal and appointed with the necessities for a stay. A very generous bag storage. Coffee Nespresso machine, kettle. Milk and a treat of Tim Tam's. The bathroom was spacious, two shower heads, from rain shower head to a hand held shower head. The bed was scrumptious, as were the fluffy pillows. Spot and task lighting was perfect. U really cannot do better as there is so much to see and do around this hotel.

This was a great find. Friendly and informative staff. The area is fantastic and charming. It is away from the touristic stuff. People, food and shops are fun., Local pubs have local people. Bus 333 takes you to the City and to Bondi Beach Spectacular views. There is plenty to do all within walking distance. Food of all kinds, and the local beers are good. Take a break from the busy city and come here.

Very nice boutique hotel. New and clean. Great service and very accomodating. Nice little breakfast area and water refill station. Easy and convenient place to stay if you are going to the stadium as it is only 5min walk. Small note that there is no views. Would recommend and stay again.

Just returned to Brisbane from the 2023 Rugby Sevens tournament and stayed here at Mrs Banks Hotel. Firstly the Hotel is located perfectly for any event at Allianz Stadium or the SCG, easily accessed by a short walk and has an abundant of great restaurants, pubs and shops nearby. Secondly, the rooms are clean, modern and quiet. Thirdly the Staff at Mrs Banks Hotel are not only friendly and polite. They provided us with great options for dining, shopping, transport and basically anything we needed, making us feel welcome. We stayed for four nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay and I would highly recommend this establishment for a great getaway.

Stayed overnight for a trip to Sydney. The room was a good size and the shower was a good size. Very clean, neat and tidy. Complimentary coffee pods, better than your average instant coffee offering. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

I stayed at Mrs Banks with a friend as we had a Wedding to attend that weekend. Considering where the hotel is located, the rooms are very quiet, very clean and the beds are the best I have slept in. Service was great, location fantastic, with transport on the door step to take you out to Bondi, or in the other direction to the city. Lots of bars, restaurants and shops on your door step. Would highly recommend.

Love this hotel. The staff are so friendly, helpful and very accommodating. The cleaners do a great job at keeping in good condition. Excellent products in the bathroom and beds are comfortable. Dylan’s and Saed are very welcoming

This is the place to stay for any event at Allianz stadium. Lovely rooms, only 500mt walk to stadium. Dylan in reception was just awesome. He's the man to ask about the best places to eat and drink. Spot on with all his suggestions. Will definitely stay here again, absolutely beautiful.

A beautifully restored boutique hotel in the heart of Paddington. Friendly owner and staff that made our stay special: many suggestions for dining, walks and gave us a late check out on the last day. The rooms were well appointed, super clean and the filtered water downstairs was a nice touch. We are definitely staying here again.

Clever concept (a converted retro bank), convenient location (Oxford Street, Paddo ... come on); very pleasant reception team; spotlessly clean; an empty bar fridge you can pop your own booze into; stylish interiors; OK - admittedly the king size bed was a bit too soft for me, but it's hardly a I'd-rather-be-sleeping-on-the-floor situation; and as for parking? well, parking is problematic anywhere in Paddo ... so, possibly better to arrive and depart via Uber/taxi/bus if you don't need a car duiring your stay.

We stayed here twice and both times rooms and staff were excellent. Staff always go above and beyond what is expected from them. We will definitely continue coming to this place.

A really special hotel - rooms are fantastic and the location is excellent (spoilt for choice on restaurants and Centennial Park is a short walk up Oxford), but it is the staff that make all the difference! Incredibly friendly and caring team running the hotel and the general manager, Dylan, was so helpful. My only regret is that we didn’t stay at Mrs Banks for all of our stay in Sydney!

A newly refurbished hotel in a great location. Rooms are on the smaller side but are very comfortable and well planned. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good value. I would stay again!

We had a lovely stay at Mrs Banks. Management and staff were friendly and professional from booking the room to checking out. The rooms were very clean, well planned out and you could draw everything shut so it was nice and dark for a sleep in, standard checkout is at 11am. Very happy, we will be back! Thank you

Absolutely excellent stay. The entire process was second to none. We upgraded our room over the phone in minutes ahead of our stay, the room was ready when we checked in (early), any requests we had were no problem including a late check out because our child was napping. Our room was perfect! I cannot thank the manager enough, Mrs Banks will be our go-to Sydney stay from now on.
