Stylish cups are sold here, they do not look like typical Sbux cups!

I have been to this Starbucks every day since 2012. It has been almost ten years and it has become part of my life. They used to have the best staffs in the world here. But today, just now, I was treated rudely here by a new staff I never saw before. Disappointed.

Could easily say this was the worst experience I’ve had at a cafe or restaurant. This Starbucks branch manager David was one of the worst employees I’ve seen. Would not let me finish my order kept barking at me saying “that’s it, that’s it” and when I asked why he wont let me finish my order he responded with “you’re too slow”, is this really the Starbucks standard? He then proceeded to print a receipt for the order I was not finished placing. Till I got my order David continued staring at me and swearing under his breath. The rest of the staff was polite and apologised on his behalf however David should be facing the consequences as I saw the next 5-6 customers receiving the same treatment. Would not recommend to anyone at all.

A terrible service I've never encountered before in Australia! The staff (short asian male wearing glass) is so rude!!! We came in to order two toffee nut crunch latte this afternoon, they mistakenly wrote the wrong name of another customer on our drink and when my wife asked whether the drink on the table is ours after 10 mins waiting, the guy shouted out and asked my wife to take our drink and go! Can't believe its the service of Starbucks! When we tried to explain they wrote the wrong name, this ugly guy ignored and shouted to other customer!!! Avoid this store as the service is so horrible. Won't come again!

Great stuff! We accidentally split a cup of coffee on the floor. The stuff cleaned it very quickly and even gave us one more cup for free. Really sorry for the mass and really appreciate for your kindness!

Coming from the West coast, it was nice to be at Starbucks again. You can't go wrong with their Coffee of the Week. Nice, rich full bodied drip filter. Great ambience and friendly staff. Highly recommended.

The moment of truth was good until we met the blonde lady named Courtney. This was the first time my partner has been In Starbuck, so she did not know where to get an extra straw, then I helped her by picking up one straw from that lady's station. She instantly casted a sidelong glance to all of us along with a very rude direction to where we were supposed to get the straw. I understand that we came near the closing time, and we were sure to leave on time. But then that lady again swept the floor in front of us and reminded us twice about the closing time while we were drinking. Other staff members are very lovely and helpful. Just don't know why a rude person like that can work in the hospitality industry.

We have been traveling Australia for a month with a couple more to go. Have been enjoying some nice coffees in our travels. That been said, nothing makes my wife happier than a Coffee Frappicino from Starbucks. She likes to have it her way and the staff made it how she requested. Thanks for being there.

Great service on both occasions I have been there recently. The beverage I got was great too, hot enough but not burnt and flavoursome. The food here is typical Starbucks but delicious. The sandwich was slightly over toasted but still very tasty. Would recommend if you get a toastie here to eat it straight away as if left a little time the bread gets a tad tough.

Coffee tastes great, tables are cleaned regularly and service is friendly / efficient. Super impressed with this Starbucks branch. They also serve tea!

Bought ice latte this afternoon and ask for one pump vannila syrup and barista ask me 30 cent and i give her one dollar... about 10 minute she didn't give me back for the changes the service was suck😂 and its not even busy! In the end i just told them to keep the changes! definitely not impress😏

I had a hot chocolate and egg & lettuce sandwich. Best breakfast I've had, hot chocolate is better than McDonald's. I'd highly recommend this place as the food is great and the store is very clean.

This 1 * review isn't about the beverages, food or service, it's all about opening times. According to Google Maps & the display on the main door, this branch opens @ 7:00am. I waited from 7am until 7:11am. For God's sake stick to your opening hours! This occured on March 30, 2022. Not a soul inside. Not a very good look. I've been to this Starbucks branch several times just to be let down every single time, I have not had this experience at other branches. Strongly recommend avoiding this branch. I have personally been a fan of Starbucks and come to the store right when new seasonal products are promoted on their media. Came to get the new Pineapple drink the other day just to get both products nothing similar to advertisement, the pineapple tea was extremely watered down and did not have any flavour. Another time came for the Halloween Frappuccino, most excited for the peppermint swirl on the whipping cream, waited longer than normal for my drinks, but the barista forgot to put the cream at first, and after I reminded them they put the whipped cream and nothing else? Last time I ordered a matcha latte which was the most basic Starbucks drink and the cup came out almost half filled and that's with ice and foam already it was 1cm away from the lid. Please improve urgently! Will not return!

Staff not professional. When I tried to order matcha Frappuccino (without syrup, the original one), the guy entered green tea Frappuccino into the ordering machine. I immediately suggested that they’re different, however the guy replied green tea is the same as matcha. Sure enough, I finally got a very sweet green tea Frappuccino, at least for me who don’t like sweetness that much. Everything was good when I ordered my original pure matcha last time at QVB.

Best of the best Sb in Sydney or even Australia. The dishes are made delicious and the decorations are so beautiful. Staff are fast and friendly, really enjoyable to see the chefs make sushi. The atmosphere is warm and welcome. Price is reasonable for a fine dining.

I had been in transit from Melbourne since 4am and my phone had died. I couldn't check in or prove my vaccination and walked in borderline panicking and asked to just charge my phone for a minute so I could do the right thing. I'd been traipsing around the city for nearly an hour and nobody was understanding at all. The attendant was friendly and calm and let me do exactly that, and this overtired and stressed little Melbournian is very grateful. 😂

Visited Starbucks George Street for a late iced cap after my birthday dinner. The staff, especially the girl who served me (wish I got her name!) was so sweet and patient for trying to retrieve my rewards card through the system. They also left me a birthday message on my cup which made my night end even better 🥹🥹 thank you! Coffee was delish btw

Recently I visited the store. I ordered one grande hot latte with blonde roast. I noticed that the price I paid is different than the menu. I went to the counter and asked the staff named Elisha. After she realized her colleague charged me 90 cent more intended. As the picture, the staff cross off “soy milk” before they made the coffee which means they already noticed that it would be price difference! Firstly, I want to complain about Elisha’s attitude, she used a frigid contempt tone to talk to me, kinda of “ I am not the one who charge you, so it’s none of my business”. Secondly, after the staff found out there was a mistake and it would cause price difference, he need to talk to me directly instead of try to cover the mistake. 90 cent is not much but the way they deal with the situation make me feel uncomfortable and unhappy. Is that the way how Starbucks train your staffs?

Two days ago I had the opportunity to eat at Starbucks here. I ordered a Matcha Green Tea Frappuccino with whipped cream on top. I think it's too little because when I usually eat at other branches, they always give me almost a full glass of whipped cream.

This store is located on the george street slightly away from chinatown station. Staff here is very polite except 1 staff who's slightly on the rude side. Other than coffee they have merchandise aswell as coffee beans also available for purchase. Overall a nice and cozy place to hangout and chill.

most of the time this place is pritty okay how ever i ordered extra strawberry's and they were unable to preform effectively since it dose state on the receipt xtra strawb. requested 2x strawberry's how ever the receipt is written wrong and the order was placed wrong. Kind of sick of pretenders not doing there job properly.

At 9:20pm, i was ordering at the counter and my sis tried to go to toilet. The staff said immediately that the toilet is closed with 'annoyed voice and facial expression'. I asked why the toilet is closed, and the staff said they have plumbing issue. I have no clue that the toilet have plumbing issue, there was no sign of plumbing issue displayed at the door of toilet. But my sister said the toilet is all cleaned. I assume that staffs closed the toilet because they just have cleaned the toilet. So they will not need to clean it again before they close the store. I saw another comment that the toilet was closed. As a customer, our needs is ignored just for staff's convenience. I don't think it is our fault trying to go to toilet just 40mins before closing? I have clearly felt that we are not welcomed in this store.

I love going here because it’s cozy and people are nice. But now, AC is down, so hot inside and got a lot of reasons on why it is hot because the manager said that “they don’t want to fix it” and me and my friend let it pass. And now, we wanted to use to toilet and they said it’s close and we cannot use it, the reason, they clean it already and they will close soon. It’s just 630pm and they will close 10pm THAT IS JUST FUNNY! May I suggest, keep the door open if you don’t have AC. Basic. Ended up leaving because of all the issues happening tonight.

Pretty good! I had an iced caramel macchiato and my friend had a hot chocolate. She said it tasted funny, but I couldn't really tell. We also shared a brownie, which was good. We sat in the store for a little while - it was really crowded and there was trash left on the tables, so it didn't feel too nice. Other than that, it's what you expect from a Starbucks, it was good for the price.

Busy Starbucks in the heart of the cinema district on George Street. It has the typical Starbucks menu for coffees and tea. The bathroom wasn’t available and the staff could smile a bit more.

Literally takes two minutes, maybe get to work earlier if you can't manage to do your simple duties on time.. maybe I need to ask if the wifi is even working before I hand over my $7.. there's plenty of other places serving coffee in Sydney.

I personally like the environment when it is less people (busy) only ground level, there is a restroom for short break. But BEWARE, it can feel winter (i would suggest you to bring some jacket, jumper any extra layers of clothes. ^^ Overall it is a good place to be, it doesnt matter with group of people having brekky or have caffeine hit , or even a casual studying, despite of the place being crowded place at some point of the day (especially towards the weekend).

I pretty much go to all the Starbucks stores in the city but I find this one to be the most consistent with how they make their drinks. The staff are also really friendly too which is a big bonus!

It just feels so cheap and my personal opinion is the coffee isn't that good. But we are all different, the place is always packed out and busy so one might assume my taste Buds are wrong in this case. I haven been for years and thought I would get a cup, not a paper cup. It looks like a young persons place and this one seems to be filled with foreign students when I often walk past. Service was fast so there is a small plus but there are many better coffee shops in the area to bother going back there.
