Love the cafe but cannot believe they are now charging just to have tap water. Stupidest idea ever and this alone will mean I get my daily coffee elsewhere…

Coffee Double Rosters pretty flavoursome. Only outdoor seating besides Marrickville Library however they've nicely provided heating for each table so very nice. Good variety of cakes and sandwiches. Friendly staff. Definitely will be going back

I had a really bad experience today. I wanna a 30% sugar coffee but it too sweet. And I politely ask if they can add some water or milk? The man who make it had really bad attitude to me.looks like so angry. Sososo bad. You can change another job if you don't like it.

always friendly & though busy, always willing to dig deep & find a way to laugh at my terrible jokes. Ordered an avocado smash toast with a side of bacon to make it taste like something. Very surprised that in hindsight, that was unnecessary - was delicious just by itself.

This cafe is such a pleasant surprise. Thought I would be experiencing an average kiosk, but the food, coffee, cakes and service are all excellent. Probably my favourite spot in Marrickville.

Great cafe attached to Marrickville Library and Pavilion. The coffee is great and the service is quick and friendly. There is a selection of light food. Love how you can grab a coffee and a book from the library.

New cafe connected to the library. Plenty of tables outside with only a couple of tables inside the library. Was good to see you can actually buy coffee and take it anywhere inside the library to drink. Coffee was great, only downside was, it could do with a larger food selection.

Pleasant experiesnce. Made more enjoyable by Paul, who remembered my name and left packing up my table to as late as possible. This allowed me to enjoy my karaoke with my Bluetooth karaoke mic and the Karafun app on my phone

Ham cheese tomato toastie lacked the refinement it had 1 month ago. Previously, balanced amounts of ham/tomato/cheese, filling the bread to the edges, toasted well (butter on outside to get the brownness), with hint of cracked pepper inside. Today, large slices of bread, 3 slices tomato, 1 piece ham, small amount cheese, no pepper, large part of bread empty. Standard toastie, similar to McDonald's. Service good and atmosphere unchanged.

Lovely staff, delicious food & coffee! The cafe is nestled in the library with plenty of seating and little nooks to get cosy and read over a cuppa. The carrot cake was amazing. Definitely coming back!

It's one of my go-to cafes in Marrickville. Love the vibe, location, outdoor seating and the friendly staff. Coffee is delicious and so with the food. A must-try is their Persian Ricotta Toast. Marrickville Library is just next door.

This place needs to look into their overall hygiene and cleanliness! Birds are all over the tables, eating from and walking all over the cutlery and plates, eating left over food. Thier needs to be more staff maintaining the food area where patrons sit to minimise the pigeons from steeping all over the tables

A great cafe conveniently located next to the local library and nearby bus stop. Food was decently priced with large portions and covid WHS Safety measures in place + friendly, efficient staff. Recommended.

Horrible costumer service. I tried to order bacon egg rolls without a yolk (allergies) but the decided to say no, we put on the side and you separated I pre-maded i can just heat it up (in the worst horrible tone on voice) they don't care about the costumer at all. If you have an allergy or any other request that make them work more they are not going to do it, for sure.

I go to the cafe twice a week …, because any other cares around there. Their attitude is rude, discriminatory, arrogant and not welcoming. I burst into tears after I was told I was not welcome.. I have never had this sort of experience from cafes, they are usually friendly and helpful . This cafe is extremely bad.

Excellent staff and good coffee. It is great to have the outdoor areas as well as option to eat/drink inside Sydney's best library.

Absolutely fantastic, I used to love going here before covid, first time I've been back and the coffee is just as good as I remember, staff are so lovely and friendly, prices are great too!! A great place to read a book and relax

I ordered a wagyu beef sandwich. To my surprise it looked and tasted like pastrami. The sandwich tasted great but the name of this sandwich is misleading.
